This is a good point.  But I understand where GK is coming from in regards to wanting to pull out of a joke vote when stuff is getting serious, I just don't think I agree that stuff was getting serious at that point.

This can be true but I feel it is much less so in the beginning pages of D1.  At that point it's just a lot of shooting the breeze until something substantial happens.  There are differences in D1 substantial versus D3 substantial but going into that would only derail conversation at this point, I just wanted to state that there are different.

The tired, grumpy, stressed me wants to bite you for this.  But objectively, I still want to bite you.  It seems a kinda cheap shot and an attempt to throw shade when all of us know there are times that the others aren't going to be able to respond. The phrasing of it just makes it seem like we've all been here and reading the whole time but refusing to respond.

for real though, I’m a firm believer in not saying everything you think.  I’ve tried playing a style where you make overconfident snap reads early in the game and it’s a tool in the belt, but mostly just to get some movement and see how people react.  
 

I’ve also tried to be a lodestone D1.  Gets you great reads but no one will trust you enough to follow them.  I thought that’s what peace was doing but he’d have dropped it by now I imagine.

i think the peace train got too much traction too quickly, it’s probably not got legs.  If I had to put money down EP is the wolf on that wagon, but this countertrain push and the sorta slapstick vote and countertrain all make me wanna lynch SD more.  If he’s a wolf I bet those two are wolves with him and the game is solved.
