Once you catch up it would be nice to see who has your greatest suspicions and why.

This worries me... a lot.  We are still quite a bit from the deadline and there is no reason to rush.  I would like to think we would like to not mis-lunch on D1, so much more consideration should be applied before knee-jerking then shrugging when you mis-fire.  Instead of concentrating on myself and SD, how about some other reads?

I'm going to be real blunt about something, Mafia is not a nice game, it's not meant to be, it's a game where emotions will run hot, people will feel things. Trying to be PC and get your point across is only going to cause miscommunication in a game where communication is the most important thing. This is mostly for @HeavyHalfMoonBlade but also for other newer players too. Sure we aren't going to intentionally belittle a player, but we'll call people out on trash plays, use the terminology that the game has used for over a decade and just be jerks within the game. Take it from someone who actually had a major crash out in one of the last games they played on here. You have to separate the game from your normal self.

@peacesells Don't take my above post as me just ignoring everything else going on. I am busy working from home, and dabbling my toes reading the topic here and there. I'll get to a "list" of some sort later when I have time. Maybe I'll cast a vote, maybe I won't.

Teph's paraphrasing does not quite capture what I actually said. I don't like people using the word Lynch as it is my name. Like what people write on envelopes if they want to send me a letter name. But I'm not going to ask people not to use it because of that. It is just a distraction for me personally. 

 

I choose not to use it because I already found it very difficult not to use it in my first game (or maybe second). So if I play dozens of games and then play somewhere it is against the rules or with someone that doesn't like it for better reasons than me, I was anticipating that would be a problem for me. So. I am acting proactively. 

 

Mafia is not a nice game, no, but the people playing have a choice on how they play. You play the way you want and you accept the consequences of that. I don't see this as a difficult concept.
