First let me say that it's an honor to get to play this game with some of the greatest players to ever play the game. This is only my 2nd game so bear with me. When I first started playing I didn't know any of the FTFM )fixed that for me?)or WIFOM (wine in front of me) or iirc, which I still don't know that one lol. I also didn't even know how the game was supposed to be played. As in when people started professing being villagers or claiming others were scum or wolves. I was like "you can just come out and say you are village?" But I just kept on trucking because I wanted to be a part of something great and fun. When I first joined DM back in 2012 I was mostly in the WT and even there I had no skills at RP even if it is Lite.

I'm gonna be honest for a few minutes and this has nothing to do with the game or my alignment so please just listen. I am turning 53 this year and I have 6 kids, 3 birds, 3 cats and a dog. I just started back to work 2 days ago after being a stay at home mom for 22 years. We are all at least in the 30s here if not 40s and 50s I guess and we all have homes, jobs and people/things to care for. RL is important but so is friendship. None of us are too busy to post here and there or be wouldn't have signed up for the game.

1. If someone says something you don't like or are offended by why not use the PM system to bring it to their attention in private.

2. We are all adults so I'm guessing we can stick up for ourselves, ie: no one needs another player to fight their battles. For me specifically I do not want another player to fight my battles for me. If I didn't like Zander saying he was in my pocket, which I find endearing, I would say so. In Gud's pocket = he trusts me.

3. I think we all know that Zander wasn't actually going to lynch Dice in his sleep. I'm new and I knew it was a joke. I believe the confusion comes from it having been a joke in the last game that Dice didn't react negatively to. Now that may be because he was not offended by it or he didn't feel strongly enough about it to point out that he was offended by it. Either way, it should have been addressed in a PM.

So let's try to forget the past day of nonsense and get back to the actual game. I was looking forward to getting to know some of the great people who joined this, my 2nd game ever, since I never had the chance to know them well in the past.

Also as a note on Zander. When I first played with him I will admit his sheer amount of posts and all over the placeness was annoying to me. But if IBH(I'm being honest) it grew on me and I came to not only like it but to look forward to it. I just wanted to point out that he is sometimes the biggest reason the story keeps going. You gotta have someone move things along and since most of us are rusty it would seem to me like he is an important part of keeping things active.

On another point Zander dear, please be kind to the other players and keep the posts to game details only and not personal points. Use PMs if you need to point out something not relative to the game.

Also it would do you all good to apologize, move on from the past day and maybe even have a group hug.

Just my take on it. You can take it or leave and I will still love you all the same.

Now let's find some wolves/scum/imposters etc. 💗

See wholesome innocent and awesome..... my soul read last game of you was spot on as a person!!!! I would hazard a guess that most players might say this is NAI (Non Alignment Indicative) but I still don't hate it fwiw and as im typing this from Gud's pocket she will receive a Day 1 Town pass from me

And I'm back. Took a little longer than expected due to my needy pup.we had to go out for playing twice because it's not raining. Nevermind it is still cold as, well cold. Finally got to come back in because it started to winter mix.

Anyway, he's back in my face so I'll try to be quick.

Early thoughts on people. It's kinda all over the place, so take it for what it is.

Shad is feeling town. He's been clear in what he is saying, and I think I agree with most of his takes.

Gudrean has been consistent in her tone and most of her takes. I disagree about her defense of Z irt the Dice lynch thing. More about that later.

Dice has been fairly quiet. I am attributing it to early happy play with Cass. I hope to see a more involved Dice going forward.

Lenlo had that weird T/T take on me and Z early. I'm always suspicious of people reading me town or defending early. I think the thing about Z and Dice rang true with how I remember his vie on the game.

Verb has stuck his nose in right away. I think his vote at Len was indicative of town mindset. See thing, poke at thing. See what happens.

Cass hasn't really stood out.to.me at all. The only thing I recall is a slight defense of Zander over the TOWN LEADER situation. It could be something, it could just be game philosophy.

Cairos has bugged me with the recurring LOCK CLEAR references. I need more from him.

RTE has been mostly reasonable. There was something that I thought weird but I can't recall and will have to look for it. I did find his catching the no hammer aspect. I kinda wish he hadn't posted it though as that.might have given more info as to Zander's intent.

Heavy is confounding me. Some posts I am totally nodding.my head. Then other posts I just don't understand. I'm wondering if he is trying to create a mafia personality to compartmentalise the game from his regular DM life. I think I'm gonna back burner him for now.

Zander I'm having some trouble with. Some of it may be carryover from last game.

This game it seems like he's just trolling me, but why I'm not sure. I obviously disagree with his TOWN LEADER ideas because too often it gets used to "bully" (in game only) players into leaving them alone when they do something sketchy. The whole line about bad villaging because someone suspects him is troubling. It just feels wrong. I'm not sure how else to express this. I don't want this to get too long so that's it for now.

Cannot say I disagree with any of Turin's reasoning atp, except maybe Cairos. I don't think joke references this early are indicative of alignment. At least not red flags. Though definitely agree he is a player we need to hear more from.

This is one of the good posts I am talking about. Not just because you are agreeing with me. It is straight and clear.

As to Cairos, it is he hasn't had a take that I recall so the only thing I have on him is he is repeating a joke. I get it was about him and his siggy is awesome (great job Ithi), but if there are only so many seats on the village bus.

Pic was very sweet.

I appreciate the sentiment but think it was unnecessary IMO. As someone who's been in many mafia games, don't think anything has crossed the line, and if it has people can message each other/Ithi, but for example don't think any apology needed between Zander and Dice as you suggested.

It seems you are a very nice person and all, and this is only your second mafia game, but can't let it cloud my/our judgement that you can still be scum. Soz

Yeah, thats not good. Honestly I completely agree with RTE. Regardless of if Zander is town or wolf, he's the biggest detriment to town atm because his posts are generally nonsensical, inconsistent within themselves, and filled with so much emotional vibe-based bs that its just a pain, not to mention their volume. Is that worth lynching someone over? I dunno. Add in the all of the other arguments though? Maybe.

For now though we have 2 more days, I wanna get off this train Zander has forced us onto with his tunnel and see if we can't sniff out anything more promising.

Just keep paying attention to what people say and do. Ask yourself if it makes sense, bring it to everyone's attention. Explain why you noted it. Also if you find something good. Same thing.

Was also Town that game fwiw. So the town leader stick would be NAI as it would be easy to do/mimic as either alignment.

I probably shouldn't be asking this, but Zander I don't remember where but did you also hint at you being the vigilante? Something about a gun.

While I don't want the mafia to know who the vigilante is, I'd rather we didn't lynch them D1 before they could shoot N1. Besides, if you aren't scum, would be stupid for mafia to kill you.
