Lol, you must have been disappointed. It sounds more interesting than it is, hehe.

Thanks for the compliment, but not sure using weird-ass words is directly equivalent to intelligence *grins*

@HeavyHalfMoonBlade I was impressed since I usually use the easiest language I can hahaha

Same here, in all honestly. My brain just doesn't appear to appear quite work in the same way as most other people's.

I've read a lot over my life (don't really read very much any more, I have the attention span of a gnat these days) and the text just has been inserted into my brain any which way. I never know if some cheesy swords and sorcery snark is going to come out or something from Jane Austin or Sir Walter Scott.

Learning a second language has not helped anything. Pretty sure my ability to speak English is atrophying a lot quicker than my ability to speak Dutch is improving.

One way to find such words though is through reading.  Which can enhance intelligence. I remember discovering the word "taciturn" through a book. I think it was Sword of Shannara.

Unless you are quite young and reading how to say, 'yes' in various languages.

Oui! Oui! say the French. But being a northern I read it as Oy Oy!

how would you spell that phonetically.  I mean like when you go, Oi! NO! or Oi! Look over here.

And don't get me started on calling Hermione, Hermyown lol

Headcanon pronunciation rules.

One writer I have read constantly used a word I pronounced as "al-bey", hadn't seen it before (was probably French) but in context it was easy to understand. And funny thing was it meant something like "all be it" and was spelled "albeit". Such a weird coincidence. *sighs*

*MOD UPDATE*

The majority of players have chosen to change this game to a Hammer/Deadline hybrid game.

If a Majority is achieved, the Lynch will occur as soon as get to it.

If a Majority is not achieved then the person with the highest number of votes will be Lynched, with the usual rules for a tie.

This change will take place from the start of Day 3.

55 minutes to go.

It doesn't really seem necessary but I'm gonna ask you not to post shortly before Night ends so I can do stuff. No doubt you'll all turn up then, just to be contrary.

Also please check out the OP for the slightly adjusted rules about self voting and the pursuit of a non drama game.

Let's have a pleasant Day, with well thought out arguments that ends with one of you going out that airlock m'kay?

START OF DAY 3

Emergency Meeting! – Cafeteria

The emergency meeting buzzer blares through the ship, the shrill sound echoing down the cold metal corridors. The remaining crewmates shuffle into the Cafeteria, their suits slightly scuffed from hours of stressful tasks. The emergency table glows softly beneath them, casting a pale blue light on their visors.

Orange slams a gloved hand down on the table. "White’s dead. Found him in Electrical."

A collective groan echoes through the group. Dark Blue leans back in his seat, shaking his head. Lime shifts from foot to foot, arms crossed.

Red straightens up. "Anything else?"

Orange hesitates. "Yeah… White left a message."

Purple leans in. "What did it say?"

Orange rubs the back of his helmet. "Uh… it said 'Lololololol.'"

Pink stares. "Wait… what?"

Yellow tilts their head. "He left a dying message, and it was… laughing?"

Dark Blue raises a hand. "Look, maybe he was trying to write something and just… ran out of blood."

Lime frowns. "That's not how blood works."

Red crosses his arms. "Or maybe he was trying to spell someone’s name?"

Purple counts on their fingers. "Okay, that’s ten L's. Anyone's name got a lot of L's in it?"

Pink smirks. "Well, Lime is close. Just saying."

Lime immediately stiffens. "Excuse me?"

Dark Blue shakes his head. "No way. You can’t connect that to Lime."

Pink shrugs. "I’m just pointing out that it’s suspiciously close."

Yellow leans forward. "Or maybe it was a dying joke. Like, White knew who killed him and thought, ‘Yeah, I’m gonna go out laughing.’"

Orange sighs. "Or maybe White was just terrible at dying messages."

Red slams his hand on the table. "This isn’t helping! We’re wasting time!"

Purple gestures at the console. "We need to vote."

Dark Blue raises his eyebrows. "Vote based on what? That White had a sense of humor?"

Pink tilts her head. "Or maybe… the killer does."

A long silence stretches across the room.

Yellow leans back. "Or maybe White was just laughing because he knew we’d end up exactly like this."

A nervous shuffle passes through the group. No one wants to speak next.

Orange’s hand hovers over the console. "So… we’re voting on ‘Lololololol?’"

Lime sighs. "Honestly… that feels on brand for this ship."

Suddenly, the emergency table’s light dims. The overhead lights flicker once, twice — then hold steady, casting a cold, sterile glow across the room.

A low beep echoes from the console at the center of the table.

The screen lights up with a single message, glowing in faint red letters:

NO IMPOSTERS HAVE BEEN FOUND YET.

The screen fades to black.

No one speaks. No one moves.

Far down the corridor, the faint hiss of a vent sliding open breaks the silence.
