Also I think we need to have a discussion about whether it would be a good idea to use the black bonestone or not when we find it.

 

I think it could be very harmful to our chances fo winning, as it would erase all our leads, and cause the mafia to constantly respawn, even if we did manage to kill them.

You are exhausted. You’ve run so fast and so hard that you’ve lost track of the other members of the group. You pause, hands on your knees, breath heaving in and out of your chest, and suddenly notice that you are alone. The jungle is silent. Instinct kicks in and sends an icy thread of fear along your spine, moving into your gut. You sink down into a crouch and move behind one of the larger trees, watching the trail behind. The smallest snap of a twig comes from behind you, but before you have time to turn around, and hand slides over your mouth. You reflexively cry out, but no sound comes forth. Then Barm leans into view with a finger to his lips and wide eyes. He sinks down beside you and points up the trial, towards the cliffs. And out of nowhere, three Jaorlin hunters appear on the trail and run right past you, back towards the cave, never making a sound. Barm grabs your shoulder, pulling you up and back on to the trail towards the cliffs. His eyes tell you to waste no time in following him. You start running again. Compared to the Jaorlins, you make more noise than a herd of wild beasts stampeding through the jungle, but you a far past caring. As you round the next bend in the trail, you almost plow into Barm, who has suddenly stopped.  You look over his shoulder and see Delenn; eyes open in shock and a trickle of blood running from the corner of her mouth.  You move around Barm, wanting to help her if you can, and the rest of the picture comes into view. Or lack of it. The rest of her body is missing. It takes a moment to process the sight before you, but then it is clear enough. Delenn’s head has been spiked to a tree in plain sight.  Barm utters a single word. “Run”

Five must die and will be randomly chosen over the next 12 hours. One is allowed to be a lynch.

To keep the voting ratio in balance, it does. Usually you have a lynch and a night kill, then you lower the votes necessary for the next lynch by 1.

And, because I have to mention this, never has so much information been available before the first lynch! One drawback is that there are so many posts to dig through to case somebody. The upshot is that there are so many posts to dig through to case somebody! Get to it!

 

Also, DM's Euromeet starts tomorrow, so a vote today followed by a flurry of night actions will keep us from staring at Day 1 until next Monday....

Hmmm...Can I just tie myself to Barm and cross my fingers? ;)

 

What is the consensus on lynching or letting the random numbers decide? Does it really matter either way? I'm not so sure. Both stand equal chances at this point of nabbing someone innocent or guilty, since our votes will be mostly random, as we haven't gleaned much information to base our votes on any actual evidence.

 

As for casing people--there really isn't too much to go on, believe it or not.  Though if casing is called for, I can start working on it. I'm heading off to the beach right now though, so it will have to wait until this afternoon.
