That's the problem with playing a game like this for decades. You get so used to the paradigm in that social bubble, that when new people come in from the outside that are unorthodox, they auto-read as always sus.

 

True, it would be sus IRL, but I would still believe it makes him sus to me.

Prior games he's claimed he goes "hard" wolf hunting/spamming every game whether town or wolf. 

Not posting 30 pages in a day, breaks his "meta read", and makes people sus him. The "excuse" that he can't devote full attention here because of another game, sounds valid. As does not wanting to overwhelm people again. But if one excuse is an obvious lie, that puts sus on him. Getting caught in an obvious lie, brings more questions then answers. (D2 reexamine?)

I don't have any good reads on anyone right now. Those posts of substance you talk about don't confirm or deny sus. I've read no slips. and if anything I feel like you know more about what's going on then I do.

 

I don't make excuses for the sake of making them.  People here have seen me easily be top poster and most engaged player as either alignment.  I'm staying what's going on in RL so people know what's up.  Process the information how you will and if I get pushad for whatever reason I will evaluate if it makes sense for Town whoever's PoV or if I feel it's a Wolf pushing me.

You're not voting Zander because you wanna make up for last game, but I believe that @Zander? isn't scum just from my reads so far. He's been chummy but also brought up questions here and there to start the game talk up and that's a good vibe I think.

 

@Cass has been helping me out, I wouldn't count her out as scum just for that. I have no idea otherwise.

 

I don't know about Sooh, sorry @Sooh.  Haven't gotten a good read yet, and I think that may speak for itself. I have a few more pages to read, but so far I don't think you've revealing anything about you yet, beyond voting Zander.

 

@Verbal32 it's nice to meet you and just like @Sooh I haven't got a read on you yet. I'm hoping to read and see how things have unveiled so far.

I do think it's natural for him, and therefore NAI on the surface.  But the fact that we've pointed out these types of quirks and "outside the game" things (like the angleshooting last game), I feel that repeated instances can only mean intent to fool.

Yeah, I believe you on the stuff that's going on IRL for ya. 
Other's might claim your lack of posting is indicating alignment, but I don't think that's the case.

I was more or less stating my thought process out loud of what would make me sus you. You not being active isn't one of them. You getting caught in a lie would be.

What's your thoughts on the UAC? Given your role and the game's theme, how did they bring you here?

I've never played with Jester/Tanner before - my initial half-thought was that mafia would be more likely to want to keep suspicions of the role hush, whereas Town might prefer to keep them alive and focus on finding mafia in the first instance. I also wanted to know if that was stupid.

I get it in big games, but if we're wrong D1, doesn't that make the wolf's win easier/quicker?

In both cases, neither wants that role to die as they'd all lose.

If I were wolf, and I genuinely suspected or knew there was a Jester in play, I'd be inclined to find ways to throw sus off that person, even though they're trying hard to get ganked.

But again, I don't actually think there is one in this game. It was merely a thought given an unlikely scenario that Zander's actively trying to get killed.

Maybe I will enjoy this one, and if I remember correctly I was a stand in on the last game because I only played for a day.

 

That's a really good explanation, thank you again! I think I can do that, and be sincere myself. I know town, and I'm kinda clear on a wolf. I know there's more roles beyond that and that we vote during day and night is bad. 🙂
