Anecdotally, I find scum slip just as much.  I did it last game, it just happened to be ignored.  But yeah, a PR town that's trying to stay under the radar might give off what appears to be a scum slip to other townies.  I don't rely heavily on it, but I do use it in my scumhunting when town.

So, a few things:

 

 - only Sooh and Cass have really been "playing" thus far, the rest of us have either only checked in with a few posts (like me), or just messing around and having fun

 

 - neither of the above feel suspicious to me, but it's easy to disguise "townie eagerness" in the beginning of the game as a way to help lead

 

 - I shot Zander in the face as soon as I was able to last game, so I'm giving him a little bit of a bye right now as an apology, lol

 

 - DM is indeed laggy (f*cking Barm)

 

 - I love lamp.

Zander lying about playing in another game does NOT make him sus in this game.  It would make him sus irl, lol, but it would still have no relevance to this game.

A WRT bold, I take it you mean 'slippy' things in general, rather than SD particularly? I mean, I did say probably/I'm not good with and don't always trust numbers... I tend to feel o.O about things that 'could' be slips, for sure, at least initially.

 

But here, for me (based on watching the last two games) SD is a difficult read - I seem to find it hard to make sense of where he's coming from at times, and whilst I wouldn't have used the terminology the way he did, I wouldn't think his comment there/his explanation was more likely to be a wolf-slip than not. 

 

What do you make of him, so far?

Yes, I meant in general - not this game as of now.  That said, I admit to not being a fan of his idea of checking MU.  One could argue that's an easy way for scum to throw a little shade without doing any work for it.

 

I'd say he's currently in my WTL for today......but to be fair, that essentially includes everybody other than Voodoo and Zander (though if HE slips, then all bets are off lol).

That's the problem with playing a game like this for decades. You get so used to the paradigm in that social bubble, that when new people come in from the outside that are unorthodox, they auto-read as always sus.

True, it would be sus IRL, but I would still believe it makes him sus to me.

Prior games he's claimed he goes "hard" wolf hunting/spamming every game whether town or wolf. 

Not posting 30 pages in a day, breaks his "meta read", and makes people sus him. The "excuse" that he can't devote full attention here because of another game, sounds valid. As does not wanting to overwhelm people again. But if one excuse is an obvious lie, that puts sus on him. Getting caught in an obvious lie, brings more questions then answers. (D2 reexamine?)

I don't have any good reads on anyone right now. Those posts of substance you talk about don't confirm or deny sus. I've read no slips. and if anything I feel like you know more about what's going on then I do.

Given the lack of any kind of context of what's going on, whether there's different town factions, cultists, wolves, etc, I'm kind of in the wait and see and move to night with no lynch.
