Neither one flipping anything is going to surprise me.  I guess I feel marginally better about Penguins being town than I do her, but it's a marginal difference and somebody has to be mafia.  I've still seen nothing to make me think it's Darc or Cass, and I'm pretty damn happy with Dice.

 

I did think earlier there was a chance that it was something weird Seph/Lenlo based on both getting at you and having similiarish reads.  Can't rule out Kat with anyone off the top of my head....maaaaaaybe AJ for the Rule of 3 discussion.

 

Basically, I'm at the point of cleaning up the PoE.  Barring a strong disassociation with futuredeadmafia, neither one is somebody I'm comfortable taking deep.

Let me preface this by saying, I do not believe that BWN is significantly more likely to be mafia than probably a handful of people.  I think Cass asked if he would take this attitude as town or mafia... if I had to guess, I'd say both.  He might disagree.  I think Darc took my side, and I'm fairly confident Tripped would too.  So it's not scummy, it's not townie, it's probably just null.  I do think a couple of questions/thoughts he had today were pro-town.

 

So why the hell am I lynching him?

This is exactly what I said I was going to do in the thread - clean up the POE by removing a fairly consensus question mark.  If the rand had gone Dice's way, I'm positive he'd be writing this about Nyn.  I'm okay with that.  I briefly tossed around the idea of going Kat, because at least I can disassociate BWN and Nyn from a few people, whereas I can't really do that with her.  If I wanted to go big game hunting and try to HERO SHAWT this, you'd all be voting on AJ.  But I don't/didn't.

 

Yeah, I know - this is literally the worst accusation of all time.  It's like...the freaking anti-accusation.  But I said I'd do what I could to put town in the best position to win, and there's precisely nobody I feel great about lynching.  I do have several people I feel awful lynching.  If he's mafia, great; if he's town, this setup has three built-in free mislynches - maybe he could improve, but I think it's going to be a lot easier to piece together some of the other unknowns later.

First of all, it's "dragged" not drug (I assume that's what you mean anyway). Drugs (noun) originate outside the body and are take to change the physiological state of it. Next, I saw it in a catch up, it was then a distraction. I literally woke up. You keep harping on about it (like literally here), then complain when I say I'm bored.

 

And it's not AtE. I want to clear the PoE and I'm going to be even *more* busy over the next few days. Not to mention I'm waking up and there's like a hundred more replies and no one is on the few hours or so in the evening I can be (and I still have things I have to sort out irl in this time and get ready for tomorrow). I'm bored of having poo-poo thrown at me to see what sticks. Really if the best thing I can do is get removed then so be it (and this is someone who hates self-votes btw).

 

If people don't like the idea of sacrificing a number just for PoE, then I kinda wish Clov had written something because I just used an AJ quote because I don't really know what more to say with things relating to me specifically. Some things I've honestly been like "lol wut?" and other things have really pushed on going to annoy me, when I wasn't as mentally exhausted as I am/have been over the past few days. A lot of them do come from Darc, but I still hold that she is town because I don't think she would buss like that. I'm just mentioning because I think that I'm just super disappointed that after being apologised to for her making comments last game that about me being busy, she's not only doing it again, but also saying this is how I purposefully act as scum.

 

AJ just bores me now. If you're town, you should maybe work on not just assuming you're right because if this is the case, here, you'd be very wrong and will have wasted your time. If you're scum, whatever, you've done your job so GG.

 

I'm trying to think if I had major changes in thoughts. Like Nyn and Kat are total nulls to me. AJ is the one who's most weird in the AJ/Lenlo/Nyn thing because he was active (asserting that he reads her town). I do remember I did think it could be seer cover and he was claiming her as his peek, but other than maybe a few posts of "maybe Nyn" he quickly went back to Town reading her. 

 

Dice hasn't been "grumpy" lol. I don't think he's really been in the position to be grumpy though. I think he believes what he's saying. 

 

Everyone else is where I thought they are or I've just forgotten about their existence. Hallia actually forgot about mine when I looked back so #4eva4gotten2geva if I've forgotten you lol

 

PS If I'd had more time, I would've posted literature about the polygraph being a load of poo-poo when it comes to lie detection and how any claims that it leads to more confessions can actually result in false confessions, especially if the accused person has been deceived (illegal in many countries but not necessarily in the US). People are more likely to receive false positives mainly due to subjective results and problems with the control questions. There also isn't much evidence in liars being any more stressed than truth tellers, especially in situations that the polygraph is used under - ie high stress. (This really is not a "deep analogy" for anything. I just want to help Clov begin his journey of discovery. Cos I'm a good person :3)

My kid at work took a call from a store he couldnt understand and I listened like 40 times swearing up and down the guy was just speaking gibberish but eventually determined he was saying the name of a new dumpling restaurant, and all I want now is some sick Asian food because one time Cass and I got dumplings in Toronto.  They were delicious.  I get paid tonight so I could buy dumplings but instead I'm going to buy a nerf gun so I can shoot my wife in the butt and then eat manicotti.

I'm sorry I can't improve on the activity I've been able to give D2, it will actually get worse from here because I have a lot of things happening with work that will leak into my weekend (and it *will* be stressful. Anyone paying attention to me play knows when I'm not having good days irl because I bring it into games. It's something I'm working on but not doing a good job of still lol)

 

I can't say I didn't tryyy today but if I've still got the thread accusing me and I don't have a whole load of time I might as well cut the rope I think. I'm sorry if any other Poe person is scum and I'm taking a hit for them but I'm not doing it out of spite I promise.

 

Despite me asking to be taken out, I wouldn't be mad at someone who doesn't vote lynch, but they'd have to have a better reason than mine to do so because as I said, I won't be able to put in more time and I don't want to be taking the heat off scum.

 

Again, I promise this isn't a me giving up and letting others deal with the consequences of me throwing my toys out. I guess when I flip people can go back with that knowledge if they want.

PS one thought that quickly came just now. I played with Nyn off-site on some baseball site. That was it. Someone asked Nyn about playing with me but that hasn't happened here. I can't remember who it was but I'd maybe find out and ask why they were asking Nyn about me, because she also hasn't mentioned that itt iirc. The only other person here who was in that game was Dice, but I remember it was Dice being asked too.

Shocker, Chris was killed. Who woulda guessed. He was startin to see with me on AJ to. Well I must lead in your place my friend.

 

Page 1-5:
Lots of jokes. Chris comes out with the first real game post trying to explain a good strat for the new accuse mechanic. (+1)

Chris also brought it up, but AJ's weird TMI assumption that he wasn't peeked. To early to be a slip, but it pings (-0.5)

Seph says to vote our wolf reads. Why? This gives them power. Just not understanding how it works? Following posts make this seem just a slip up. I don't think Seph would be able/willing to risk such a play as faking confusion. What would it accomplish? Assuming anyone read the rules, it would only paint a target on him. 

Page 6-10:
Lots of jokes goin on still. Lots of mechanics talk. Chris trying to force people to find town/wolves, worry bout mechanics later (+1).

Page 7, Darc fishing for cop here? Asking how Seph would know he was town he Seph just asked a question (-1)

Dice not making up a read on Penguin, could be avoiding judging a teammate or just being honest. UPDATE: With Penguin flipping town, this looks better for Dice imo. Wolf could easily have made up a town read here. (+1)

Page 10, Penguin questioning the town reads on AJ. If penguin flips wolf, could look good for AJ, but he wasnt a wolf

Tripped says Darc has trouble being active as a wolf, and they are comfy in thread. Tripped flipped town, so this is an honest read. (+1 for Darc)?

Hallia says a solid core is Chris/Me/Cass/AJ, odds are there is a wolf in there. So (*) for Cass and AJ. Nyn also pops in

Hallia repeats an AJ town read. Also mentions Dice, so worth looking into people she is mentioning specifically. Also Hallias "I hope we are on the same team (town)" should have been a dead give away.

Need to watch Darcs posting. Tripped says their activity dips as wolf as the game goes. Cass seems to be poking around the thread a lot, asking multiple people questions (+1)

Dice reads list. Mentions Hallia scares him, first mention of Hallia distrust? Good thing for Dice (+1). Could be hedging, but its the first mention of someone distrusting her.

Kat really checks in now. AJ Hot Takes Dice, says he is grumpier as Wolf. Worth thinking about on flips (?)

Kat friending up the big players AJ and Chris with how she wants to read them town? 

Page 16-20:
Page 17, the infamous AJ defends Nyn post. Still looks bad to me, there was basically no pressure on Nyn (-1). Also AJ said was ok with a "Back to front" lynch order of Hallia/Nyn/Me/Darthe/Bwn. So he was soft defending Hallia here to (-1).

Penguin being pedantic with what a lie detector is and not really contributing (-1). Page 18 he also dodges telling who he would accuse, taking note if he ever returns to this like he said he would (#). Continues to bog down the thread with polygraph talk. 

Here I go in on AJ. Chris is walking through it, not immediatly shooting it down and heading in on what could have been an easy lynch. Tryin to understand (+1). Seph seems to be soft-defending AJ here a bit.

Page 21-25:
Darc says he wouldnt accuse me, and he also places Hallia on the end of his "Would accuse" list. Its oddly ordered imo. AJ Also comes back at this point.

Penguin comes in and says he hasnt read, but he is posting so... why? (-1) Faking activity? AJ reacting poorly to my post on him and Nyn imo. Very defensive over what was a light poke. (-1)
Seph is lazer focused on Darc here. I dont see them as teams, because Seph could easily let Darc rest here. He has made his point and distanced from him, but he just keeps going in. I like it. (+1)

AJ also brushes off Sephs raised point of why he isnt extending the same courtesy to Penguin. Could see an AJ/Penguin team. Dice pops in here, but doesn't really comment on anything. Goes out of his way to say he has an opinion on me/AJ but doesnt give it until someone asks for it.

Im not seeing the same things in Cass as I did on first read-through. Lots of activity, lots of surface level spreading the talk around.

Page 26-30:
Cass says she has good reads on Dice, AJ, Kat and Hallia. Yet Hallia flipped wolf. Why does Cass have a town read of her if she is good at reading her? (-1). The only thing really hanging in there for me on Cass is activity and spread out chatter. I like it, but sometimes it feels surface level. (+1)

Some serious salt between Darc and Penguin. I doubt they could be on a team together. Darc speaking out against Hallia here before her lynch. Good look (+1).

AJ Misreps my argument with him here, saying it was about going after Nyn and not him (-1). Hallia does a lot of sadling up to people here. Me, Chris, Nyn. Grouping us all together here. Would she go all town, or lump in a teammate in there? If so its probably Nyn (-.5) over Chris.

Cass has Penguin and Hallia in her WTL here. If Penguin flips wolf, thats a good look for her UPDATE: Wasnt a wolf. AJ isnt taking the easy push on me with Cass's leading question about me "hasnt given other reads" aspect. He is thinking it out (+1). Hallia gets salty at Darc for calling her a trash read. Curious if this means anything one way or the other (?).

Kat doesnt want to lynch Chris, AJ, Nyn or Hallia. We already know Hallia was a wolf. Makes it known how open to being persuaded any way she is (-1). Chris makes it known Kat responds to pressure. So heres pressure. Chris's post here about Darc and Penguin once again makes me think they arnt on a team together (?). Nyn says she will catchup tom.

Chris makes the big push on Hallia (+2). No lynch without this imo.

Page 31-35:

Cass scalls out Penguin for providing 0 reads. (+1 Cass, -1 Penguin). More lolcatting from Penguin.

Hallia gets lynched. No vote from Cass (-1), Kat (-1) or Penguin (-1) and a No from AJ (-1). Yes from Darc, Dice, Nyn, Seph and Chris (+1 to all).

AJ Mentions putting Penguin on the stage right at the start, based on flip could be bad or good UPDATE: AJ Put Penguin on the slab from the beginning. If Penguin was a wolf, this would look good for him. Penguin wasnt a wolf. Penguin also immediatly defends. Suddenly a lot more interested in the game with the Hallia flip. Then removes self from game for awhile. 

Fighting between Penguin and AJ, looks good for AJ if he flips wolf, but could be distancing UPDATE: Flipped town, so not distancign.. AJ coming out the gate with lots against Penguin. Feels a bit out of nowhere. 

Page 36-40:
I swear to god, why do people keep thinking im a woman? Is my ass just that nice? Dice being nitpicky on Chris. This just seems idiotic for a wolf, at this point. (+1)

Penguin is actually posting and caring today. Tentative (+0.5) cause of activity, but this could easily be "scared straight" by Hallia going down so early. AJ says that if Nyn is a wolf, it looks bad on me, yadda yadda, stupid post (-1)

AJ saying that Penguin not around to vote means Hallia was likely bussed. If Penguin is a wolf, this is bad for AJ. UPDATE: Wasnt a wolf, so not bad for AJ. 

Page 41-45:
Ill admit to skimming more and more the closer I get to more recent content.

The post by Kat on page 41 feels like damage control. I have no basis for this, just gut. (-1). Kat continues to ask people their thoughts, never offering her own. Chris noticing Kat to. Seph though is just putting in so much effort here. He doesn't seem the type to do this as a wolf. I like it (+1)

Lots of back and forth with Penguin. Im all for this lynch. Everyone ganging on Penguin now. Based on flip, could be interesting.
