I'll be completely honest - I have no idea how to take his post.  I could see him being super annoyed as town, and I can see him being super annoyed as mafia.  Hell, I could probably see him being minorly irritated and playing it up as mafia.  I sort of want to call it more likely to be town, just because I'd want him to fight as mafia, but if he's busy...he's busy.  Town gets busy.  Mafia gets busy.  

 

I'm fine reading around him at this point, and if there are people I feel are highly likely to be scum, I'll table him.  If another inactive gets pressured first, no problem.  But if things go his way, at this point, I would have a hard time voting no on him.

Thats where I am torn... I am a huge pro town player and while I liked his last post, would only possibly very slightly atm Could see a few ahead of him? It was pretty -ev @DontTrustThePenguins So you have anything at all to give for what you have read? I get it’s day one but to even get a chance to play day 2 we need something to know your even committed ?

Had (?have) a small pause about the sharpness of her questioning about Dice's cover if the intent was to find out if he understood the voting, given that she acknowledges the setup etc but I might be sensitive due to the accuracy of it/ fact it was on me, I can't remember if anyone else voted so abruptly and I understand reflex to ask for explanations on unexplained votes so ?

 

The being ok to vote me accuser/read me Town early and the mention of being able to follow my lines of questioning earlier  (I have lines??), feels kind of generalised/not a usual response for people who haven't played with me before. Am wary.

 

 

I understood why you didn't like me questioning Dice's reasoning for voting, so I didn't mind you pushing me for it.  I didn't think the way you were pushing felt agenday either.  I already explained why I asked about the vote, so I won't go into it again.  I also felt like you were casting a wider net, particularly in your questioning of my town read on Darc.  /shrugs

I think it is alignment indicative.  It's less than it would be if it were harder content, but it's still a good look IMO.  That's why I said she'd be the first to admit that.

 

Fair enough on the point about people being suspicious of you and your style, but I'd counter that by saying she doesn't know you (though she's heard about you... not going to name names on from whom).  So she comes in kind of fresh.  I could WIFOM on whether she's more likely to townread you or scumread you as mafia, but I don't think it'd be even slightly productive.

Dice, we have no guarntee of detailed cases. They would have to have that prepped, because from the looks of it, they get maybe 24 hours tops to do the full legal phase, and then we have to vote. That is not a recipe for detailed cases unless they had it all planned and ready to go ahead of time. It cant be a spontaneous thing.

Last game i was concerned at him often popping in, promising stuff, then disappearing

He got pissed because apparently he genuinely did just get busy, but...

Personally, annoyance isnt a wolf tell. Depends how they handle it. Do they refuse to chill down and work out the game? Its worth looking into. Wolves benefit from nothing getting done, which is what happens when drama occurs and people get annoyed.

 

Town want the game solved, and so I think are more likely to just pass the buck, work it out, or something and work to solve the game.

To his alignment? It pings. Its probably the most pingy worth thing I have seen this day phase, because I expect better from AJ. Im not sure if my crap-shoot take about how he plays as a wolf v town earlier might have affected this, but I doubt it. My opinions rarely sway things like that.

 

At the moment, I wouldnt be against someone accusing him. It sucks, I know he can do better or that this might be a slip up, but I havnt seen much else today. We do have the option of an effective no-lynch, but thats almost never a good idea.

Okay.  I can work with this.  Do you think Mafia!AJ is defending his teammate there because I was onto her?  Is he whiteknighting a townie to maintain credit in the event I try kicking her teeth in?  

 

Like I said to AJ, I'm not going to use anyone's inactivity against them when they made it clear they would be inactive in the signup.  So I really don't find that scummy from him.  I do think that mafia!AJ doesn't feel inclined to protect Nyn there if she's town, and I'm not really sure he defends as a teammate.  It's not like I had a super strong case, and IIRC, he showed about zero interest in defending his inactive teammates last game.  

 

My opinion is a little colored by the fact I was already feeling good about him, but that just seemed like a natural thought to me.
