I have no idea how I feel about seph suddenly being okay with me after not liking me comment about seph not being likely teamed with Darc and Darthe.   I do like the thoughts they are sharing currently much more than yesterday.   So that’s something. 

 

I will say I had a similar thought/concern about Dice posting a reads list. I don’t remember Dice posting a reads list in the games we played.  Maybe someone else can weigh in on that. 

 

I also thought that there are too many people wanting to read Chris town. I mean, I get it. I just don’t think he’s said anything that’s remotely alignment indicative.  Then again, I can’t read Chris on anything he says necessarily; it’s more about action.

Honestly I always WANT to read Chris town... and AJ for that matter. They're awesome townies... when they're town lol I do always constantly tinfoil on them though. For example. I've had hardcore tinfoil that the reason that AJ is so happy this game is because he's scummates with Clov. That scares the crap out of me lol

Let me clarify that for you.

I dislike how you posted it because it, nothing more.

it assumed I was a wolf no matter how the outcome came out. Without actually calling me a wolf the post implied it with how it was worded, obviously you commented on it already as it wasn’t the case.

Well it’s been awhile but I remember him always giving snap reads off of tone. And I want to say he did the list more as scum? But I wouldn’t put much weight in it.

 

i have read a lot of his games but as I can’t iso old games so I can’t confirm anything.  How he actually made it didn’t read terrible as it didn’t look forced. And the reads were in line with what I expect. 

 

I  know I said a lot to actually not say a lot...

I had similar concerns.  And I get wanting to read Chris town.  I've just been burned for doing so without evidence to back it up.

I can understand why you maybe would have thought that.  But it really doesn't assume you're wolf at all.  It was more a comment that if you were a wolf, then you're probably not teamed with darc or darthe.  I look for anti teams a fair bit, but it doesn't mean that I think that either people in the pair are necessarily a wolf.  It just means that I think the comment or interaction itself was less likely to come from teammates.

 

What struck me as odd about your reaction more than anything is the fact that if you're town, you know you aren't knowingly teamed with either of them.  So me saying that you're not teamed shouldn't have mattered from my POV.  Instead you automatically took it to mean I was wolf reading you without saying I was wolf reading you.  Which, if you're town, I guess I kind of get it.  I'm not sure how much people here look for anti teams or how reactive you typically are as a player.  It just caught my attention at the time, and seemed like maybe you were scum reading me for it a bit, since you were implying I was planting a seed of doubt or something.  Town wouldn't really have any reason to do that, which I why I thought you were scum reading me.  Unless I misunderstood what you meant with the comment about seeding.  AJ asked if I was scum reading you, too, because of how I worded it, so maybe the intention of the comment wasn't as clear as I thought.

I actually liked the list itself.  I just wasn't sure if it was something dice normally does as both alignments or not.  I don't think it's that hard to make a good reads list as scum when you have the answer, but the fact that it was unprompted and that he's sharing his thoughts seems ~good.
