Well, I assumed there was some reason lol but if you tell me you just decided to accept whatever's said as the truth (nevermind the fact he's claimed both) for no reason I can probably believe it

I suppose that the levity he brought to it did some good for me but not enough to warrant much scrutiny or backing. Not yet say least

I liked this last night, it's a little awkward sounding but the thought process seems quite convoluted if mafia

That was one of Ben's strong points as Mafia last game--his ability to give an unorthodox reaponse and stick to it under inquery. Not sure the extent to which that applies here sans coffee and a shower but my thought in the moment was it was NAI.

Biggest thing I can remember was the difference between AJs and yours games in terms of tone/confidence/depth etc, at least early days, if you can provide ~anecdotes?

Wow apparently no one understood that post so maybe I did word it wrong (or misread what Darthe said?) I'll look at what Darthe said ain a few minutes once I've woken up a bit but none of that had anything to do with Chris beyond I had thought Darthe's post was weird in context but didn't bother mentioning it until be brought it up.

I dIdn'T get it either

Basically convoluted thought process doesn't mean much for Ben and if he gets off on an awkward foot he's good at selling that as honest confusion/different way of thinking.  See: the argument with Liz and then me last game.  I actually thought he was at risk for being a D1 lynch candidate over it at the time and then everyone called him a villager for it, so it had to be effective.

I'm mostly looking at whether he cares who the wolves are at the moment, but this game has been gratingly slow in terms of people dropping reads.

I mean, I can tickle you, but like Chris said, anyone who claims wolf as town would also most likely claim wolf as wolf, so reading it as anything but NAI is a bit of a stretch to me.

It looks like you're having fun, and honestly my first thought was "oh no, Shad randed Jester".

I mean there's the superficial tier "a player did x and can do x as either alignment so NAI" and then there's the deeper reading into intent, but this post is fine.

I won't pretend I read much of Day 1 and have very little recollection of that game, but superficially the two things (spewing Sooh/liz and what I think this is) are different. I'm more interested in his read on you at the moment (and I'd appreciate your take as well, but after I've had chance to talk with him :p)

Re Darthe: p1 I could see him getting a good vibe from my intro and knowing that's a garbage tier read so dropping it with a decent dose of sarcasm

And the good feel that gives me is a pretty garbage tier read in turn

So basically I liked it in the sort of way that shouldn't really matter in the broad scheme of things, but you have to start somewhere

Sooh talking about generalities when she's specifically seen you claim wolf as wolf reads oddly, but that games already been brought up so it's probably not important but I'm not sure what's fine as opposed to null?

I must be bad at this, im taking the guy at face value

Regarding my post that seems to have confused at least two of you

This would have made sense to me based just on p1 but is blatantly goofy in the context of me repeatedly claiming scum

Too blatant to make me think anything but "lol wtf Darthe" really

Fine is null

@ BFG why do you think this game is moving very slowly in terms of actual content/is that really the case or is it just me?

It's slow, but it's a 9 player game so?

Choose a different word then. I just found it odd you focused on jester twice. I wouldn't have gone there.

Do you think it is realistic for this game to contain a jester?

Word travels quickly, even back in the day, and upon discovering that the Lady Redbush's old love is still alive, the court's jester informs the lady of Peterson's whereabouts. Lady Redbush flees immediately, along with the jester - to escape the King's wrath - in order to find Griffin and reclaim their long-lost love. Furious at discovering his wife is missing, the evil king sails across the ocean along with his henchmen in order to find her and take her back - as well as kill this Griffin Peterson once and for all.

Idk. You tell me. It's how I interpreted it.
