Oh, for sure, we're going to lose townies, and unless the mafia did not pair up a w/w team (foolish if they didn’t), then we cannot get a sweep on D1. I just don’t like everyone seeming to bandy about a nonchalant attitude towards the town losses. This is not an easy set up for the town to win.

It’s like the read on LZM that Verbal presses you about and the wagons that AJ is pressing you on now. At this point I think I've said about as much as I need to and my votes are placed where I want them.

 

I have no basis on which to read Aquilla but he's contributing at least, and even though I take self-meta with a pinch of salt - if what he says about hating to play scum is true then I would think he'd have less to say, especially with a roster of player they don't know.

 

SK hasn't done anything but promise content and not deliver, he could be busy but he could also be lurking scum. His volume in Suicide Squad was low and eventually tapered off almost completely towards the end. I figured with D1 being over 48 hours he'd have more concrete stuff in the thread.

 

I might buy the idea that LZM is apathetic town but I don't have a ton of confidence on Lenlo either way (sorry Len). I'd like to see LZM answer BFG's question about her read 'leading' when she called him town.

 

Verb maybe town. I think it'll show more one way or another as the game gets deeper since he takes time to ramp up. There's the Verb/Nyn pairing in his favor too, but I can't say with confidence whether he'd go for that sort of fancy play if he were setting the matchups. I'm always voting to advance Nyn here though, sorry bro.

 

Ben I'm unsure about. Some of the content is there, in so much that his town reads are 'correct' but could also just be well worded TMI. Seems to switch back and forth between off-topic, self-deprecation, and then actual game content. I don't know what to make of it. Either way, Sooh is the pony in that race I've got my money on.

 

Still think BFG is town. I don't mind that she's asking questions that may seem random or out of the blue, considering her availability. I'm more interested in how those questions compile into forming reads at a later point, which is the real indicator of her alignment imo.

You're probably right in the stances you're taking irt SK and LZM. It's strictly logic driven.

 

Maybe it's just that I'm stubborn. Sure in vaccum sk and lzm are giving a lot less and in comparison lenlo and aquilla are at least being more talkative. That's not something anyone can argue. At the same time it's hard for me to wrap my mind around at least LZM playing this way as scum. So we just have two apathetic scum? Meh. It's just a bit hard to swallow.

 

If SK doesn't do something soon i might go that way but I'm not feeling particulary comfortable with aquilla either *shrugs*

D2 is certainly the hardest phase for town depending on how the scum did the matches D1 and how many advance. If we make it to D3 though, it’s one on one with a guaranteed scum. With 3/4 other Townies still alive for support. I dig those odds

The longer SK goes without doing anything the worse I feel, he is not an apathetic townie even when he's low volume. He also isn't showing any real interest in the setup which is ~surprising. That said I don't have a real benchmark for the low volume of his game, he was active enough as mafia and bussed early enough to be a consensus town read, then didn't know what to do with the town read after (afaict), so low volume doesn't equal mafia. I'm not seeing any unique approaches (compared to the wot game where he cc'd a random character, or self voted etc in TM) but I don't know how essential they are to his game. I think when he starts posting I'll read him more easily but?

 

Quick skim of 2 games on MU (power rangers and an invitational one) suggest that he's low volume day 1 either way (he's spoken more in this than either of those, but this is probably a longer day length), his town game had 10 pages of posts so must pick up. He was more conservational/fluffy as town, more focused(?) as mafia and was lynched day 1. Most votes I checked were 'wagon' so I don't know their reasons or if town got lucky. I would guess that he makes 'good' posts either way, I don't think he has a problem sounding good, based on what he's said this game I'd guess it's the caring that's the problem

 

This game he's more conservationist but he was fluff based in his last game here, so I don't think I can call that a tell

 

The back and forth with Nyn is probably null for him, as it's a logic argument, it didn't really feel like he cared if she changed her mind or that it was informing his opinion on anything, which isn't a great look, but given how comparatively relaxed he seems I'm kind of still at null hoping for more to read him on
