Easy vote for me. I called Darthe on his no read on Hallia early yesterday because I figured he was setting up some kind room where he could read her either way based on what the situation needed. That and her crappy push on for BS reasons is not a good look at all.

 

With the flip, im gonna go and see who he talked about. His sudden flip in trust towards Hallia could have been a bait incase he got lynched, but everything else is simply more compelling.

I'm not sure I necessarily see it this way, actually. Early on Darthe insinuated that him not having a read on Hallia was a bad sign. He might have been testing the waters irt her. Then he started getting heat. Both Hallia and I were pretty vocal about feeling okay with him. Then he shifts, for no apparent reason, to trusting Hallia. I think it could have easily been a case of him just cozying up to someone who was talking in his favor. Notice that he also never made a move to push me either. It's called self pres. You stick with the people that support you... trying to lynch them is sorta counterproductive. Especially in this kind of setup where scum rely quite a bit on mislynches. ie they need to hold the favor of as many townies as possible.

 

I don't think Darthe really needs prep work to shift reads... his reads are pretty random and fly about with little to no reason. The shift feels more to do with her read on him, imo. Could be wrong, but that's just my impression.

 

 

In a vacuum, it could have been taken as him cozying up to someone for self-preservation, but when you look at her actions, you see her supporting the only known wolf and voting for the only known townie. You also see her pushing (and so very weakly and contrived) the first person to FoS Darthe (Lenlo) and the only other person that Darthe pushed (SK). That's quite a track record. Her scum reads seem more aligned with what she thinks she can get away with than what she might actually feel, and that, coupled with Darthe's comments on her, make her look pretty darn sketchy to me. My vote stays.

I dunno. Maybe struggling because I have done similar things. ie I leaned in on Ben early on and I wasn't really keen on lynching Darthe. So I have that perspective in mind. But eh. I don't feel too hot on dice either..... but at the same time I'm not secure enough of the read on her to try and stop her lynch if that's how most are leaning. She's being a trooper either way which is sweet I guess but that doesn't necessarily make her town, sure.

It's nice to meet you. I read your impressive sig. How do you win consistently as both town and wolf? Most people seem to play differently depending on whether they are town or wolf, or at least, everyone says they do. So far, when I play town, people pounce on me as a wolf right away, but when I am a wolf, I somehow sneak by, even when they keep saying, "Ben is probably a deep wolf." I want to fix that so that I win as town too, but if I have to choose, I'd rather win as a wolf because I think wolf is more fun. Town is full of anxiety because I don't know who to trust, while wolf is just sheer thrill and excitement.

Because we dont' have enough to go by yet to make a decision on how he's playing on D1. So far, he is playing like he has in both games, even though they ended up being almost melodramatically different, because that the very, very beginning, they both looked like this game, as far as his posts are concerned. I'm just saying that he hasn't posted enough for us to get a read yet.

Woah this is an unexpected reaction. Lets dig in.

 

First, I never mentioned claiming. Of course no one is going to claim anything other than town. However, I was talking about Ben reading people as town, not claiming he was town. There is a very important difference there that you either A) Forgot about or B) Purposely left out to attack me on.

 

As far as defensive goes, I could more accurately apply that to you right now. I responded with a snippish, 2  sentence post, clarifying what I said. Your response to that is to claim clarification is super wolfy, yelling I dont make any sense, and voting me. Doesnt look good, when all I did was correct you.

 

The rest is fine though. I agree on Nyn, I liked the exchange with Ben. Dug in and hitem. Was nice. Dont understand the not lynching Dice yet, since he has 3 posts.

Up through page 20, these posts have me waving on a very nullish Dice.  Things he can do as either alignment such as suspecting Rand, who I think could very well be town because of his position on the Darthe lynch, and saying that Nyn is town b/c that's an easy stance to take there, and if she'd been lynched he could've been like "I was town reading her etc"  Before that there's some fluff.  All in all I could probably vote him.

Actually, the way you break it down there, it looks like SK switched to Rand simply because Darthe was cracked about being on a tied train, which makes SK look worse, not Rand.

It wasn't meant to make Rand look bad. My point was how he framed the vote switch was bad, so I wanted to show it in sequence. SK had Darthe and Rand as his top two suspects. Switching from one to the other in order to ensure he wasn't the lead wagon is perfectly fine play.

 

You're also completely ignoring the fact he was one of two people that Darthe expressed any serious intention about lynching D1.

Could care less. Literally only did it to save his own skin and Darthe wasn't long for this game anyway. Rand's progression was a random vote on Dice, sussing Nyn (guilty of this myself) and then asking for summaries on wagons doing until DL. His vote alone doesn't save him.
