Cuz I don't trust you >.>

chances of it being fakeclaim are fairly low

i'm assuming just some scum redirection role at this point

unless

hm

I have to contemplate this for a bit.

You thought I wasn't trusting her claim and result. Your response to me voting her was to defend her claim.

does a fake claim make sense to you?

IMO, Town Shad would have looked at Dice as scum aiming for a mislynch and Scum Shad defends the comment made about him.

Dice's exchange with sir alfred read awkward. I still don't quite get the exchange. But to be fairi read it loosely. So an eyebrow raise

Good point and a concern. It was a weird point for Dice to get that excited about. I've liked other play that I've seen, but his back and forth with Alfred will need to be explained.

@ Dice - Will you explain why you chose this point to be very active about? You posted about it more than anything else, so it's obviously important to you.

its only very active because i dont have many posts but ok

not responding to a joke vote is often a bugbear for me there are exeptions like if i vote cass for being a maroon i dont really expect a response because we both know what it is. But if its a newbie thats a different story. i dont know if alfs played 2 games or a million games. But hes brand new here and if he gets voted out the gate by someone hes never spoken to i expect SOME kinda comment even if its a cheeky thank you.

but the main reason that seemed very active is that we were both here in REAL TIME. we were talking back and forth and ive formed an opinion on him which is the whole point.

The reactions afterwards are what im most interested in.

and OOC hows ure mum?

Fair enough. We need to blank the slot because eld is in, so there's also that.

It's my grandmother, 92, and she's been declining for a while. We knew this, but she recently had a stroke, so we went to say goodbye and her worsened condition from the last time we saw her was especially hard on my son. He's good now though - he knows she had a good life and we should all be so lucky to see those years.

Thanks for asking.

<3 this response. It's hard losing anyone but it's great that she lived such a long life. Regardless, I'm sorry. My thoughts are with you

I haven't read the claim or the surrounding stuff yet.

But your response to me voting her doesn't feel like a scum reacting to someone going against their lynch, which is how it should have read to you imo.

Sugar. Spice. And everything nice. These are the ingredients required to create the perfect little girl. But Professor Utonium accidentally added an extra ingredient to the concoction. Chemical X.

Thus, the Powerpuff Girls were born!!!

Meta is the culmination of all of your characterstics that some people use to divine your alignment.

"She is peppy when she is Town" or "He tends to post less when he is scum"... these are simplified versions of meta.

The Oldster set uses the term "scum hunting" and approaches the game from a "look for teh bad stuff" that points to scum. It's evidence based.

The New Gen uses the "clear town first" method. they rely heavily on meta and reading past games to develop a profile. It's probability based.

The problem, as I see it, is that it's easy to change your meta... all you have to do is zig when you were supposed to zag, and you got everyone fooled.

There are arguments to be made for both styles and truth be told, everyone uses a combo of both to an extent.

Basically this, the counterargument being the vast majority of players have certain characteristics that they just can't change even if they want to, vs evidence only carries so far because villagers can be drastically wrong and some are just naturally disposed to what would generically be scummy behavior.

Also might add that meta does not necessarily require past experience with the individual player.  You can start to detect patterns that hold true among people who think similarly.

Computer not comet... remaking the word comet has proven difficult. But hey, I did it. Look at what I can do!!! Cookie points (don't like brownies) to anyone that gets the reference.
