Actually i kinda felt good with bfg. I just want her to post more cause with her it's a lot about consistency. She can sound good but if she drops off it's usually a bad sign

 

Most of tge times i read shad as scum. I dont get him as a player or a human being. I rather mislynch him than misclear him though lol what? It's a valid life choice. :-p

 

Dice got an eybrow raise. Just want see him post when work doesnt influence his inbolvement. I think itll give me a better grasp. Of his alignment... gutter brain

How so?

 

 

Because I now have 2 games under my belt, spent the break researching/reading games. So I now feel I can pick up on play styles and signs of woofiness easier than before. Although, I do have to admit I was pretty proud of my gameplay in those two games. :D

Off the top of my head i cant really remember much from them. I mean they posted but i dont recall something that jumped at me. Just me hazing shanti a bit.

Initial mindmeld, but she started pretty peppy in Peg + Cat as well... Is extra pep a bad thing wrt Shanti specifically, for you?

If Shanti was peppy in peg+cat as town why were you suspicious of it this game?

Mostly her rapid-fire entry here drew my attention as different to last game, and the pep/play tone seemed possibly overdone.

 

Went back and looked - the rapid-fire is different, the pep/play is similar enough. #earlygamesmallthings /shrug

You seem to think she's overplaying the pep - as if trying to appear to be using peppy-meta?

 

 

I think I answered most of this in response to Tigs/you earlier, but FTR I didn't see it as overplaying meta so much as simply reading as possibly overplayed, if that makes sense? 

 

This is the post I wanted to go back to... why focus on the pep-meta part, which I'd concluded may be similar enough, but not the 'rapid-fire is different' part?

It's a consideration, so I'm watching, but not enough to chase her on it specifically, no: I don't know her well, confidence improving is a thing, and like I said there are hints of similar enough tone in the last one that /shrug.

The rapid-fire entry is a more notable difference. Watching her with popcorn to see where she goes from there.

He is the most active with the most reasonable content and I am not sure a scum would put themselves as the number one active in the spotlight player like that out the gate.

 

Cass so far seems to be similar to the time I played with her as town.

 

Possible on Tig but I need more to say for sure she is a hard read but a valuable player if town. Tough cookie we couldd use on our side so here is to hoping.

 

Shanti is also possible but some of the meta talk about her and from her kinda throws me off a bit. Just a weirdness around that I am not sure I like.

 

Adella is a tricky one who seems pretty level in both town and mafia so I cant really say yet.

 

You are on the same level as Adella. I have not really gotten to know you yet. I would say you look pretty town but with nyn as your other half I dont know about that. I have trouble reading nyn as anything but scum because she is so good at trolling everyone.

 

Dpr. Mostly absent so far and trying to avoid tunneling him as scum due to past games.

 

Dice in his couple of posts seems like himself but I dont have any scumdice meta to work with and he has not given us much to work with.

 

Alf is not around and this is the first time I have even seen him on the boards or mafia.

I would throw BFG in the townish pile got now. I liked the tone and activity she displayed earlier but I do not have much personal experience with her.

 

LZM is pretty null. Not a lot to go off of there.

 

Kronos posted pretty much exactly what was niggling at me with Shanti.

 

With Shad my hedgyness was more of a, I should be more wary but my gut says town. So it still says town now and thats what I am going with until I see a red flag.

BFG does sound mostly good on ISO. I just want her to post more cos I have tinfoil. And concerns that she's potentially dropped off.

That was me - I don't think I'd describe it as 'defensive', just kind of shallow in response to questions? Eh. They're not awesome responses and they bothered me slightly - mentioning fear of assumptions but claiming zero fear on skilled players because confidence in game play has increased seems contradictory, but I've packed them under 'Possibly Town/Probably NAL in themselves' for now.

 

What I do find more concretely concerning is the lack of game-related content following these, despite the claim of increased confidence, and the fact that she came out with astute reads/reasoning from close to the start of last game when Town.

Don't hate this/most of what I recall of Cuth's stuff on tone. Wasn't sure about the early Tigs read but can understand his thought processes to here enough that nothing's really standing out and his thoughts are coming across as natural at present.

(Caveat I haven't seen him scum).

 

@Cuth - have you played with Zep before? Not excusing him, and there's a post I want to follow up on but FTR I had the same take on him early last game and he was Town.

 

As it stands I don't hate these as options but I want to follow up some with WBK and LZM.

 

 

These are VERY light and general reads, nothing in depth. It's my bed time.

 

1. Shad - Good activity so far, prodding questions to keep people talking, seems townie.

2. Darthe - Where you at? You did this last game and were scum... >.>

3. Shanti - So far I'm getting town, for above stated reason.

4. Tigraine - YOU SCARE ME! I don't see anything that says you're not mafia...

5. LedZepMan - Seems consistent with the last game so far, which is town.

6. DreadPirateRoberts - Need more to read

7. Adella - Clearly town imho

8. CuthaNyn (Cuth+Nyn) - Cuth is feeling town to me, but not much from Nyn yet

9. Alfred Jodocus - Need more to read

10. Killanos (Killa+Kronos) - So far Killa reminds me of Shanti, and I'm actually having a hard time telling their posts apart without having to go back and check who said what.

11. BFG - Came out pretty strong with probing questions in all directions, which I'm learning is generally a town thing to do.

12. Cass - Town so far, seems consistent with other couple of games we have played.

13. Dice - I am unsure on this, because I tend to read Dice as scummy no matter what (even in 2 broke girls where I was scum)

 

Adella, can you give thoughts about Tigs' actual play to here? Does this read essentially mean that nothing has stood out as scummy to you?

Nothing specifically had stood out at that time. The dice/Alf interaction is making me feel better about Dice, but the hedging and answering questions with deflection is making me feel less good about Alf. I'm till trying to catch up though, I'm only on Page 20 but I'm on my phone so I need to reply as I go.
