If Tigs is telling the truth then hack = block. Or it could mean different things I guess. But blocking is one of them. And I can't block.

Zander (I think it was you who asked) - I posted and went back to sleep again. It was in the night and I shouldn't read mafia at all. :D Nyn and Dice didn't want to lynch Lenlo and you seemed okay with it but had chosen Tigs instead so I chose to follow you. It was her, Lenlo or Ed.

I asked tigs to show me why she shouldnt be lynched. She hasnt done that.

 

I wont be surprised if she DOES flip town tho   i have a tinfoil on it because shes has been THE lynch choice all day. Len has kinda snuck up there but if you read thru consensus has been on tig. Im worried that its too obvious basically.

 

Also if the choice is between lenlo who i think is town and tig im never going lenlo.

Thought about if it was a good idea to share this or not but here I go.

 

I´m a one time tracker and I chose to track The Laughing Man yesterday to see what would happen. He didn´t visit anyone. It´s a bit confusing to me since that give us no clue to what he actually does in this game. Or maybe he is just so good at hiding himself and I couldn´t see him? In that case I just wasted my track but I thought I would give it a chance. Maybe someone has seen something during the night that could confirm this later or get to learn something that I can´t. (I´m not saying that you should reveal anything right away though.)

@dpr  ure right. I asked her was she a hacker. it took ages to get an answer and then the answer is no. The sample pms show hacker clearly and im assuming they are the power roles. When tigs claims  or just after she says shes a hacker. its in her pm.

 

ive been tossing up what it means because i wasnt sure if the sample pms meant that they WERE the pms   no other variations or not.

I still dont know what to do about it. the no hacker seems weird   the claim was wired as was the action but a sly mafias team could come up with that play.

 

I also think now that its coming up fishy in light of tigs claim.

Well it is minimized some because she doesn't know if her block or cop even works because she doesn't get the results. So it would be really nice to know who is getting them. I have a pretty positive idea on who. But I dont want to say.

Nin because it has been pointed put now that when she claimed you only gave the role while both me and tig gave a lot more detail.

 

Nyn because she seems really aggressive this past day and I dont know how to see that yet. Also being super dismissive of extra info that could be useful sussing out real from fake claims.

I will answer that and no maybe I did not mention that but I thought you were saying ant details about the pms not just the hacker bit.

 

Also my PM doesn't say I am a hacker it says I am part of Public Security Section 9 and on the investigation for cyberterrorism. The story arc post with my character goes into more detail about that investigation.

no my point is about thinking hackers are PRs and shes not a hacker. neither darthe or adam were hackers and they flipped vanilla human and cyborg respectively. lenlo was cyborg too

@ dice - no way I'm quoting after all that, so let me know if I need to clarify anything:

 

1. I should have been more clear about which move I meant - it was when you switched your vote from Lenlo to Tigs, and Niniel followed shortly after. I need to go back and look at the progression after I post here. 

 

Any activity before the DL is going to raise eyebrows and a sudden move from what turned out to be a town lynch followed by another one just struck me as odd.

 

I'm not saying you are working with Niniel - but it's either that or she sheeped you.

 

2. As far as Niniel's claim goes, I'm to the point where I've had to give her the benefit of the doubt too many times now. Her leaving out that info (Hacker, Cyborg or Human) was not good. Especially in light of Killa and Tigs reveals. 

 

I defended Niniel earlier about her reveal, but several players have implied that Niniel is experienced and a spent 1x Tracker claim is a nice way to take the pressure off. I need to go back to verify, but I don't remember her being pressured too badly - I know she was never a vote leader - so the question of "why reveal?" is back on the table. Especially when she could have kept that info to herself to possible spot bogus scum claims.

its just an area to be careful of. generally a claim like ure is safer saying something like  im vanilla human  for example

 

Dont EVER quote the stuff in the body of ure pm unless ure sure or have asked the mod.

 

there are some games where pm matching is okish but generally its frowned upon

 

 

paraphraseing is a skill however that u should learn....

First, my correction that Dice did not pull his vote from Lenlo as he had never voted Lenlo and did not have a vote up, as per the count. I confused him and Niniel.

 

Dice and Lenlo were not voting. Niniel was voting Lenlo.

 

Then dice votes Tigs. In doing so, he ties things up so that Lenlo is (4) and Tigs is (4). He posts this:

He's made a move to tie up a train before DL and prepped for when she flips town and for when Lenlo flips town. 

 

@ dice - if you didn't think either was scum, why not stick to your guns and vote who you did think was scum? 

 

Niniel follows just after dice and moves her vote from Lenlo to Tigs, putting Tigs in the lead. 

 

Her reason is:

 

"Main reason for my change is that people that I believe is town is hesitant to vote Lenlo."

 

So, she knows that she has to explain her vote, but what Niniel does not do is explain why she votes for Tigs.

 

This is the 2nd "hesitant" vote and those votes tied the trains, then put Tigs in the lead, neither of them saying why they thought Tigs is scum.

 

dice follows Niniel's vote to talk about Niniel's reveal... but not her vote. 

 

I don't like either player's posts in this progression. I do think that at least one is the scum we're looking for. Niniel is my top pick here.
