I recall Sooh and Nyn (will have to confirm) not having problems with his game, but I don't see this as anywhere near town play.

 

Yeah, his take on the whole cory chatter echoed my own and I specifically liked the post where he explained in length about the fearmongering. But I also asked earlier if he has given any leans so far and top 3 per Zander's request. Via your ISO, I'm guessing no.

 

Did Zander ask? Didnt notice. I know he asked for an "I am town" statement for LD like he always does and if anyone knew the source, which im pretty sure I indicated earlier on that I did.

Idk, maybe because I've talked to Killa off-thread (not about game) and know she was drunk, I'm not seeing the Cory comment as scummy. If it turns out Cory is somehow related to NPC-LM or involved in the game, I could totally start tinfoiling that, though.

It has happened but its usally reserved a bit more for new players in general imo.

Adam was in the MU Mash Up I was in and was basically the leader of the 20 or so member Scum team so he's not getting a D1 pass from me unless he's starts being really really Towny between now and EoD.

Alot of it is subtle differences from this game to last. But I feel like she is more paranoid/gamesolvy,( if that makes sesnse) than the last game. It's nothing to.write home about but I think there are better lynched than her atp.

I've been playing for almost 3 years, about 2 of that purely video mafia. Played with a few of you including Shad on MU and came over cause I love the theme and like the host

Tig did say shed be scarce today so I mean its not like horribad but still not a good look her at all.

Im not sure how much if any exp Tig has playing Mafia but ifs shes new it could be her being Scum and suffering Deer caught in the headlight syndrome.

She really really really needs to step it up before DL tomorrow because if not def WTL here.

Tigs has plenty experience playing Mafia in the old days. As for her posts, they don't feel scummy to me. Just...she's not playing the game?

5. Killashandra - Someone did already point out that she's more confident this game. Even last game where she started scum reading the day I was Lynched, she hedged and hawed somewhat. More something to watch out for. Not null so much as in between.
6. DPR - Generally being DPR: questioning setup, questioning players, questioning why I keep calling him. Why won't you answer? 
7. Niniel - last game she was scum and quickly lynched, but I didn't really see what people saw then. Mostly going off of other people's reads that she's not immediately showing those scum!Nini reads, but some of her posts have felt questioning in a bad way. She was one of the few people I saw actually say she was Town, so that's good.
8. Lenlo - don't remember any sort of meta, but we're bestirs, so D1 pass. (Read: actually pretty null rn)
9. Nynaeve - another one don't remember meta, but she's posting Like the Nyn I know. Game wise, she's questioning. Some people mentioned she wasn't pushing as hard early on as Town!Nyn should be, and hen she changed her style. But she also has mentioned some activity limitations, so that could be the cause.
10. Zander - inquisitive all Zandy. Someone put it best that he's OCD about some things. Wants clarification on everything even if they're minute and have no real bearing on the game. Strongest town read atm.
11. ed2funy - Just in case Seph didn't hear it again: I. Am. Town.

12. Tigraine - Phone still wants to autocorrect her to migraine. Accurate. Wasn't worried about her lack of content until someone pointed out that she posted elsewhere earlier, so now I'm worried. She usually will post a reason for being absent, and if she posted content in the other game, I'd expect her to come here and say she was busy.
13. Adam - NFG no one likes. Wants to Lynch an inactive D1, but that's bad form. Retracted his early vote when questioned on it, but that didn't feel right. Has explained it as just tone, which is a tiresome excuse to be the sole basis for a vote. Temper it with game content.

14. Laughing Man - a good healthy dose of speculation is nice, but I don't think focusing on him too much will do is good until at least D2/when we find out something more concrete.

Basic reads. Feel most comfy with Adam and then Tigs and Nyn. Depending how Seph keeps trying the same tactic scum!DPR used, his Town lean will probably start moving to scum. He reeks of a bad play to push an easy Town Lynch.

Lenlo - it feels like he voted TLM to have his vote on someone = safe without needing to explain a vote on another player.

 

If I remember right, Lenlo blew himself up once in a game where it was indicated by the mod that saying hastur three times should be done at your own peril. He did it anyhow and went poof xD. So if there's anyone I'd expect to push the envelope irt an unknown factor, it's probably lenlo lol

So I wanna point out for DPR, since he is conviently ignoring this fact, I never criticized the TLM spec, I criticized the Cory spec. 2 different things, so don't try to pretend voting TLM is counter to what I've said. It's not.

 

Second, TLM is the/a bad guy in the show Zander. Yeah, he's a less awesome V, but the good guys from this show are in the government (Sector 9 I think) so there's your perspective.

 

I'm trying to block out some time to iso, but until then:

 

This is exactly why my vote is still on you.

 

1. You are not helping to move the game forward - you keep coming back to this point over and over. You need to turn in your reads on everything else in the game.

2. You say "conveniently ignoring this fact", but I'm the one who drew the distinction between speculation on mechanics vs. your "fear-mongering". It's frustrating that others are not seeing this, but you did criticize the conversation over TLM. Then you agreed that speculation over the mechanics could be useful.

3. To your statement regarding that your vote on TLM is not counter to what you did, I point to your statement below:

 

It's possible Shad did his thing and randomized roles between characters so that char claims wouldn't break the game. Also possible he did something similar with TLM and he's a neutral npc role or something.

 

We have no evidence to go off of whether the role is town or wolf or even important

 

4. You did agree with me that mechanics talk was not bad - your point was that fear-mongering was bad. By agreeing that speculation on mechanics is alright, the implication is that TLM/slot#14 does is potentially important to the game.

 

Then you voted it.

I recall Sooh and Nyn (will have to confirm) not having problems with his game, but I don't see this as anywhere near town play.

 

Yeah, his take on the whole cory chatter echoed my own and I specifically liked the post where he explained in length about the fearmongering. But I also asked earlier if he has given any leans so far and top 3 per Zander's request. Via your ISO, I'm guessing no.

 

Did Zander ask? Didnt notice. I know he asked for an "I am town" statement for LD like he always does and if anyone knew the source, which im pretty sure I indicated earlier on that I did.

It's possible Shad did his thing and randomized roles between characters so that char claims wouldn't break the game. Also possible he did something similar with TLM and he's a neutral npc role or something.

I was waiting on him to make an actual post with reads. I cant tell with him right at first but I had him pinned mafia day 2 of our last game. He made a big mistake though so unless he does something like that... But there is something he did in that game that he did not do as much in murder mystery as town. I was watching to see if he did it again. He has not yet. I need to go look at another of his scum games to be sure it is an actual tell and not my imagination.

I am now. I thought I may have noticed something about ed while he was scum vs town. But when I went into the data base and tried to check my thought against other scum games of his I found he had taken a break from DM mafia for a long time. So I took a look anyway and I got nothing because his game style for town or scum is very different before his absence and after. So meta from old games is probably pretty useless for him and I could not answer my own theory. Maybe I will keep it in mind though for future games.
