I just checked - i stand corrected - I did get a pic.

But it was a single person pic - not a group pic.

My response to Killa's post previous to this is what prompted her to post the above pic.

When I saw it, the thing that struck me odd was that she had posted the group pic - which I knew I didn't get - and that she pointed out which character was hers, even though it's not labeled. I thought I remembered her saying she wasn't familiar with the source material and it struck me as odd that she'd post the group pic and know which character was hers. I hadn't looked back at my PM since the game started and I don't know the characters either, so I jumped on what I thought was a slip.

I was quick to respond, but I shoulda given it a sec and thought it out.

I get that Killa used the pic above to avoid quoting her PM and that the character she talks about is the only one with a beard...

I claimed the mistake. It is what it is.

I still have issues with her confident-yet-unconfident posting style, but that has nothing to do with pics or flavor. Will address along with some fresh takes on D2 after a reread.

I checked the texts and I, Tigs, Dice and Killa are mentioned in the texts. If we are to believe the texts we are all town. But people with cybernetics can obviously be hacked. So I guess that the only one I can really trust is Killa, since she is human.

I don´t believe that Dice and Ed are on the same team. The reason is because Dice went after Ed when he refused to just say "I´m town".

I still wonder about why Dice questioned me about my claim when his claim just said hacker. If he is telling the truth I can see why he thought he could be the doc but it doesn´t seem to fit since his pm seem to say that he is just hacker. Why would mine say hacker and tracker?

The character is Ishikawa, who apparently is suspected to be the least augmented analyst for Sector 9. I haven't read the posts surrounding this/the claim so have nil context (yet) as to how it happened.

This ?fits with the idea that Killa would not be able to be Hacked, as reported by ?Dice/Ed, which could mean VT but the exact wording on the wiki is

"It is not known to what degree he has been cybernetically enhanced, though character dialogue (and his long recovery time from an injury) suggests that he is one of the least augmented members within the organization. "

Which is also appropriately vague enough to be a safeish fake claim for scum, in the event that not all Sector 9 member roles were given to Town.

If Killa is scum, this might suggest Ed/Dice are also scum.

The "guess he won't be used in the stories" bit from Killa has been disproven - as I understand it, Ishikawa is the analyst suggesting the Puppet Master was behind killing Darthe/Nibu. Not sure whether that's aligment indicative.

The VT claim/claiming VT is worthless thing is <.< could be noobTown, could easily be scum cover for not being an NK target. As above, will need to read context.

Forgetting you got a pic is ?weird but stranger things have happened. DPR's push could be scum picking at LHF or it could be legit wondering if Killa is scummy. I'm not sure what to make of this since I've mindmelded with DPR a couple of times/I had the exact same "confident-yet-unconfident posting style could mean she's scummy" feels about Killa in the game we just played. She turned out to be Town. DPR if you're Town and interested in reference/comparison, it was Nyn's 2 Broke Girls game.

Can cyborgs/humans have them too, or not?

Why/why not?

Checking back at the OPs, so far humans and cyborgs are always mentioned as 'vanilla' - so far, both in death and the sample PMs.

This suggests to me that maybe only Hackers can have PRs, and if Nin is indeed claiming Human + PR she might be scum.

But @DPR, if flavour is pointless, why are you so certain this is 'a ringer?'

I think right now we have to sort Niniel and dice. After that, I've got Killa and ed.

I trust Seph over anyone else right now. Tigs is claimed AC.

I'd lynch any of top 4 before you or Nyn.

I need to say that we see to have a lot of confusion right now, and I'm not sure why we're not trying to get away from that and focussing on things we know for sure.

Niniel still hasn't explained why she revealed, despite my asking multiple times.

She just tried to use game flavor to clear her, dice and Killa. OMG who does that?

She said she was human, then said her pm didn't say anything as she tried to nail dice down. And that's after she's voting me over my role pic and how much attention was i paying to my pm.

This is ridiculous already.

IMO Dice could do this in either alignment.

Well, given that you had already claimed Amnesiac Cop + Hacker, it seems pretty obvious that roles were separate from character types. And the sample PM's imply that everyone got a type, but roles would need to be seperate.

Are you in a QT with him or not? This is confusing and we need clarity.

The only people I would want to vote at are dice and niniel. What's funny is I have been arguing dice is scum, and he has been arguing niniel is scum and it had been about the only thing we have even slightly disagreed on.

With him laying out his case everything makes more sense in regards with what he has been talking about, and bfgs post actually cleared up some things I was confused on regarding her human claim.

I'll only be around for a little longer but I'm hoping it won't matter which one we lynch? But as dpr said I trust him over anyone and even here where he was getting some suss he reacted in a positive manner and is continuing to game solve.

What about this is hard to understand. I know you are a smart guy, so I have to assume that you are just trolling me. But I will take it step by step again.

1. I claim tracker.

2. Dice doesn´t trust me and ask if I´m a hacker as well.

3. I say no.

4. Dice says that all pr´s should be hackers. But he is hacker himself and believe he is doc, and his pm doesn´t say doc.

She said she was human, then said her pm didn't say anything as she tried to nail dice down. And that's after she's voting me over my role pic and how much attention was i paying to my pm.

This is ridiculous already.

Have you and Seph discussed his idea that Monstr was killed because he was onto something and it should be between Dice/Nyn/Killa/Ed?

In that scenario, what keeps Nyn more clear than Niniel, Dice, Killa, Ed?

DPR I am not claiming anything ... well in my mind claiming vt is worthless. To me it seems the only claims that matter are the ones that could be figured out with out dying first. lol Which is special roles.

My response to Killa's post previous to this is what prompted her to post the above pic.

When I saw it, the thing that struck me odd was that she had posted the group pic - which I knew I didn't get - and that she pointed out which character was hers, even though it's not labeled. I thought I remembered her saying she wasn't familiar with the source material and it struck me as odd that she'd post the group pic and know which character was hers. I hadn't looked back at my PM since the game started and I don't know the characters either, so I jumped on what I thought was a slip.

I was quick to respond, but I shoulda given it a sec and thought it out.

I get that Killa used the pic above to avoid quoting her PM and that the character she talks about is the only one with a beard...

I claimed the mistake. It is what it is.

The character is Ishikawa, who apparently is suspected to be the least augmented analyst for Sector 9. I haven't read the posts surrounding this/the claim so have nil context (yet) as to how it happened.

This ?fits with the idea that Killa would not be able to be Hacked, as reported by ?Dice/Ed, which could mean VT but the exact wording on the wiki is

"It is not known to what degree he has been cybernetically enhanced, though character dialogue (and his long recovery time from an injury) suggests that he is one of the least augmented members within the organization. "

Which is also appropriately vague enough to be a safeish fake claim for scum, in the event that not all Sector 9 member roles were given to Town.

If Killa is scum, this might suggest Ed/Dice are also scum.

The "guess he won't be used in the stories" bit from Killa has been disproven - as I understand it, Ishikawa is the analyst suggesting the Puppet Master was behind killing Darthe/Nibu. Not sure whether that's aligment indicative.

The VT claim/claiming VT is worthless thing is <.< could be noobTown, could easily be scum cover for not being an NK target. As above, will need to read context.

No, mine only say tracker. But Dice questioned my claim and said that pr´s should be hackers as well. But he says that his only says hacker. That is the weird thing. If he would be doc wouldn´t it say doc + hacker?

Here's another ringer:

You already claimed to be human.

You said yours read human + 1xTracker. Then of course you changed your story up and conveniently have no results that we could verify, but hey, that sort of thing happens.

I think this is misdirection on dice's part - we have a pretty good idea that hacking creates QT's because I've done that with Seph and Tigs and dice seem to have one, so I don't know why he'd be confused about it.

Seph has not mentioned any special Cyborg ability. I did point out that Adam had the Tachikomo robot and we don't know what that did.

Niniel has claimed Tracker + Human. I don't believe her, but others don't seem to have a problem with her, so that implies that they believe it's possible to have a human tracker.

I say flavor is pointless because it always is - it's used as a theme, but not as an actual puzzle solving element.

Please please tell me that you understand what I'm saying about this.

There is no way - none - that a mod would clear townies with flavor. Absolutley you should ask our mod to confirm that this is the case.

I opened the PM and sent the action in without gazing at the pic in wonder. Like I said, it's game flavor and never important.

This has nothing to do with the pic!!! You said that you hadn´t checked your pm since the game started but you had to if you wanted to send in a na.

This is getting old - you're pushing a situation that I don't could actually even happen - I'm pretty sure everybody got a f'ing pic.

I read the PM, saw my info and didn't go back to it. I got thrown by the group pic. I explained this.
