But this QT thing will absolutely have to be discussed. Today. No getting around that. 

 

FTR, I do NOT see the benefit in a mass reveal. Given the setup, the risk of supplying any additional information to scum is too high.

I didn't *DO* anything last night. I got a link to a QT, which I'm pretty sure means I was hacked.

 

Thus the Tigs comment, and weird that they don't wanna talk about it.

 

That being said, my hacker hasn't posted in the QT yet, so idk who it is.

Aoi sometimes wondered if his name would be in history books. The thought made him uncomfortable, but it was a real possibility. They would attribute all sorts of false acts of heroism to him, or terrorism perhaps, depending on the outcome.

 

But he was just a frail gifted boy who happened to suffer from Cyberbrain Sclerosis. He was treated with the Murai Vaccine, and it worked flawlessly. And then he stood and watched his new friends at the clinic die after the Drug Enforcement Administration banned it.

 

He was prone to snooping about, and he happened to stumble on an anonymous leak about why the Murai Vaccine was banned before the government quickly covered it up. It was simple. Secretary General Yakushima and many of his subordinates owned major stock in Serano Genomics. A competitor's cure that actually worked and required no prolonged treatment would have made Serano's profits plummet. So they shot it down. Typical, and heartbreaking.

 

When he learned that Ernest Serano had been kidnapped, he acted quick to help the kidnapper disguise his identity. Aoi too wanted to expose the truth. Many people wanted to expose the truth. Many people died trying. Aoi was just one of many. He didn't know who leaked the information. He didn't know who kidnapped Ernest Serano. He didn't even know who created the image of the Laughing Man in the first place. It could have been any image. But if they ever did trace that hack, they would probably call him the Laughing Man, as if that meant anything at all. He let out a sigh and connected himself to his computer to watch the morning news.

 

 

Perhaps not. It was a bit ironic. Whoever hacked his cyberbrain must have known something, because he would never see anything online again save that god forsaken face staring back at him.

Okay, I will just post what I know and then the smart people can guess what it means. 

 

I tracked Manbat last night. I was told that he was visiting Ed. This is weird in many ways. 

 

a) Manbat visited someone and died. 

b) Manbat doesn´t seem to have a role. Or can every hacker do something? 

 

 

There are so many explanations for this.  Obviously I didn´t get the result that the coroners report showed. Because someone hacked me? Or did anyone move Manbat (like a busdriver or something)? Or is someone (TLM?) doing something to the coroners report? Does Manbat "visiting" Ed lead to his death?

 

I have a feeling that I´m harder to hack since I don´t have been altered much (my way to say what is really in my PM) but I don´t think it´s impossible. 

 

I´m not at home so I won´t be here all the time but I will try to jump in a little now and then.

When Ed have revealed I wonder if it´s good to mass claim and put the pieces together as best as we can. I know DPR don´t want to and I´m open for suggestions on the matter. Shad has told us to think outside the box and so far the only weird thing we have is a player that doesn´t play and Tigs role.

From the story line

Guy in the 1st arc who tlm first told to repent his sins seems to be tied to a bunch of things, including daito. Info below. And man bats character who could appear to be tlm as he hacked into the feed to help disguise the man causing the mayham.


Sector 9 town released the tlm story to the press.

Someone working the case was killed because he kept digging while getting blocked by higher ups anytime he got close.

The puppet (another hacker ) seems to be keeping people from releasing the tlm story. He has seemed to be apart of the assassination to of the above mentioned officer and that has seemed to keep them from coming forward to bring tlm out in the open.
They are afraid to be tied to daito who tlm has told to tell us his sins basically.

Leno was daito security guard who seemed to be targeted by the puppet.


I tried interacting with tlm but to no avail. Read the story arc and my post will make more sense

Imo Sooh was one of the towniest players in the game and i said as much at the time. Can't comment on monstr because i haven't read any of his posts. We aren't on speaking terms.

 

I dont know what the rationale could be. I could speculate but it seems pretty pointless since it's wifom to the most part. At the end if the day, though, occam razor suggets a nk. If things went down the way you suggest, then why has there been just one death? Also why build up to what ed did at night when the info you had was in relation to what monstr did?
