At least Manbat has a reason to say I'm scum and that's because he is on the defensive. Which to me is still crazy because his original reasoning in that my post was misleading, has been explained numerous times. Other than that, he has no reason other than me misreading his gaming style.

I don't think Tigraine is the type of wolf who would bother to hard defend wbk when her other wolfbro is likely to get lynched over the next couple hours, and in a way I actually kind of think it looks good, because it shows a deeper wolfread than I initially thought. I still don't like the way you are lumping the four of us together in your catchup post, and then you also said you think it's possible that shad and I can be scum together when you posted "I think two of these four people are scum" despite that your read of shad is predicated on me being a wolf. All in all I conclude tigraine is never wolves with wbk

The first one was in response to his question of what happens when he "flips villager". The second was in response to everyone that thought my first answer was confusing.

 

My original intention was calling the banter between the afore mentioned four, exactly that.

 

Maybe it's my old school ways and having played in too many games where scum would do anything to win, including offering one of their own as sacrifice.

 

Back in my day, (Light I'm getting old) EVERYTHING made you look scummy. If you done what was least expected or if you done what was highly expected.

 

Apparently it doesn't work that way anymore.

 

Someone, Clov maybe, pointed out that you were all aware of Manbat's playing style and that I am not. That is true. If I've misread his playing style as scummy then my most humble apologies are in order. However, at this point, I still don't see anything that would change my mind.

Most people will still kill their team mates when necessary. Kivam-esque gambits like leading lynches on your partners D1 and D2 aren't very effective because there's a much bigger focus on intentions than consequences.  Villagers lynch villagers and wolves lynch wolves.  I try to get a firm grasp on someone's thought process and determine whether it's genuine or not.

 

I think you'll find that the standard rules of engagement you seem to be used to are mostly dead.  There's less of a focus on what all wolves do vs what all villagers do and more focus on understanding people as individuals.

 

I still don't fully understand your response to me, because you said that part of your reasoning for why you thought manbat was scum was because you think wolves will throw their team mates under the bus.  That's a clear enough reason except that the person he's been wanting to lynch most of the game was you, so unless you are a wolf it doesn't add up.  This isn't a 'gotcha' moment lol but I do need to see that you have an internally coherent train of thought and aren't just spewing words.

Recalibrate.  Post your thoughts.  See what happens.   Nothing is written in stone yet, and if you're town you still have a chance to do some good even if you're mislynched.

Re: hard bussing D1, it's not that wolves won't do it, it's that who is potentially doing it matters.  I tend to assume a leadership role as scum and I think bussing for no reason is stupid, but I will yolo as scum if someone wants to try something crazy, so basically it's possible that I could roll with a partner who's hell bent on a D1 hard bus but I'm never going to propose it myself.  That's something you can factor in with me, Cory, Pizza, a lot of vocal players really, to feel pretty comfortable with me if I catch a wolf on the first day.  If Zander or Kivam lead a lynch on a wolf D1 they deserve zero credit for the fact itself and you have to look at how they went about it.  Darthe isn't going to stupidly dive into it but he's tricksy and you can't fully clear him for it.  Etc.  It's about the individual.
