What I said is that my joke with Cass was not about her taking responsibility for my vote. The joke was about me not wanting to do my usual wild and crazy play when I'm in a hydra with MrsClov because I'm representing us both and I don't want her to be mad at me and dump me. That was the joke.

 

You seem to be interpreting it as me trying to make Cass responsible for my vote, which was not even the case. Especially because Cass was originally joking around about how I should just go ahead and vote for Darthe and then I voted for Dice instead.

I feel like this is being taken out of context.  Neither Liz or I have really Hydra'd before. So it's kind of an adjustment to have to run it by one another person before voting. Liz was trying to give me the courtesy of disagreeing or agreeing with her in our Hydra-hidey-hole. It wasn't a thing of she can vote you but not Darthe, it was her being a good hydra partner to me.

 

For the record, just to make it easy. As long as Liz is available to do so, I'm letting her place our vote or unvotes. I think it'll be way too confusing for everyone if we're both casting votes and unvoting.

His playstyle (that I've experienced, and that is just one game pryor to this) is interesting because of the way he poses questions - it reminds me of trial lawyers stating the obvious before they swoop in and lay down the evidence. There is a quality in those questions that could be sincere equerry, but might also be cover to lull the game into believing he's Town early on. Maybe he's just curious, but I'm still sorting out a subtle tension that I get form him. Could be OCD. Could be he's on his way to a brilliant legal career. 

 

Regardless, please consider my vote a bookmark at this point. No one is in danger of being lynched and we're all basically on our first drink at the party. Personally, I like to get a few in me before I lay down serious votes.

Thank you. Give or take ten years worth. I have to played with most everyone here cept maybe you and couple others. I'm not really into meta for the most part. I usually play by gut instinct. I have a tremendous gut............instinct. No reads yet but people reacting to Darthes claiming vig like it's anything more than Darthe acting out could be a good start. Other than that I gots nothing.

I never even considered a legal career. Curious how sincere you are about seeing a potentially career-oriented quality in me.

No,  you're making it a contradiction, most likely because it involves you. It was an "Oh yeah, I'm in a hydra" moment. I didn't know about the vote on you until after the vote was placed and we talked it out. So that's when she mentioned conferring with me on Darthe. We fill the same spot, and that's not something either of us are used to doing. It is just a result of us trying to figure out how to hydra for the first time, but you're making it into something else.

2. This will be my sixth or seventh game, I think. All previous games on JetNation.

 

3. I've played with DPR once or twice I think, I've played with NotBob once or twice (If that's the one known as Jetscode on JN), I've played with Tiink once (if that's the one known as Raccoon on JN), I've played with Dice once, and I've mostly played with Crusher. Still don't have a good read on any of their play yet, but, I'll admit I'm easily fooled into believing Crusher is Town because I love teh Crusher.

 

4. No reads yet. It usually takes me awhile to really get into a game. I'm typically a slow and deliberate player, and (with the exception of last game) am not often out in front with my reads. Not to mention that this player field is very unfamiliar to me, and not to mention that the quoting system here (where it quotes what a player says plus anything they quoted) is really throwing me off. Hard to notice at a glance who is saying what and referring to whom. Plus, for RL reasons, I'm gonna find it hard to get into this game, but I'm gonna try my dardnest!
