I did not expect a symp. Adding that symp into the mix id say atleast half the mafia team is gone now

 

also he wasnt recruited but the mafia probably knew abou him in sommme way, shape, or form.

I think it was peace that said it or maybe rand but i agree that the mafia were likely on the cloud train over the chuckles train

Oh, I DID forget to mention one thing. My thoughts on the mafia team setup. I think it's two Symps four mafia, as Symps aren't worth a full mafia imo (they can't plot together until recruited), and normally I'd expect 5-6 mafia, I think. But not sure on that last one. Not enough game experience to say for sure.

If Cloud can look at the QT, this means that he would give it to mafia, essentially confirming that you would be mafia.  So this depends on whether or not we think symp can read the QT.  Fos Maw.

No, my WoTs weren't really a case, but an observation that we can look at later when trying to figure out the deal with symps and their relevance in their game, and how other people have reacted to this.  However, right now, Maw is my top priority.  After looking at mafiascum, epicmafia, and google searching, I haven't seen any official rules that are generally followed on symps, and I have only played one game where I was symp in which I could look at the QT, however, that is definitely not enough games to judge by.  Because of that, I am going to go by Dap's experience that symps can usually see the QT in addition to his theory on how Talya and Ishy were working together.

Here Dice points out the hiding factor of DM issues.  Forgets that someone might actually have DM issues.

  also he had mentioned the odds of that happening within half an hour. Two issues with that

1. Time zones. Talya would have to be the same time zone as the mafia team which, since she is in the UK I think, and almost everyone else in this game is in the Americas, is unlikely.

2. DM was having heaps of issues at the time

You know that the point of a symp test (that's what you are talking about) is so its unique. Losing a post doesn't fit that. Furthermore not all symps can see QTs. In my mafia career I've been a symp about 4 or 5 times and never have I been able to see the QT

 

I was thinking of this too in that I don't recall symps being able to see Mafia QT. That and dice seems so sure of it.

I think Dice is the best lynch we have so far. His trying to link people and the way he has been playing can give us alot of information on D1 and possibly a scum.

Basically, Ley, Dap, and Mish were the three people mainly involved in this. of those still alive. But at this point it looks like you are calling all three if us scummy. I know you qualify this later on so ill wait till then. But I'm involved with everything lol  I didn't go past page 27, so if there was anything on this after that, I didn't get a chance to see it, but Ley barely touched this, just noted distinction between DM and Firefox.  However, since he has already proven himself a 1-shot vig, he is fairly confirmed.  see this bit bugs me. During your WOT I didn't get the feeing Ley was confirmed in your opinion until now. I get the feeling you will turn around tomorrow or something and try discredit Ley and call him scummy. For some reason this bit really bugs me.

This leaves Mish and Dap.  Mish has said that she used to have the staff, but as we have theorized, the staff could be in mafia hands as well.  do you doubt that she had the staff? Or just that she is town.

Personally I only doubt the latter, it would be a dumb thing to lie about as mafia if she had never had it This means that Mish could potentially be mafia because of having the staff I don't follow this logic and it gets a bit hazy from here (because it would be just like Ithi to give both staffs to the mafia and the stealing ability to the town, isn't the stealing ability linked to having the staff?to see where that would go, or something along those lines), so I am putting a strong FoS on Mish.  

From what you have quoted I kinda feel this but not too strong. It was the rest of the thread that nagged me about Mish.

Do a full case in her. It'd help, and I'm not sure ill be able to do one for a while (only limited iPad time and laptop isn't working with DM at all

Dap also was very consistent on discounting the mafia symp possibility, always saying that it was useless, and honestly, unless I am so sleepy that I forgot a role claim from you, the main reason we trust you are your cases which have caught us Talya and the continued cases thereon.   until Talyas flip I didn't think this game would have a symp. I was sure she was mafia, plain and simple. Also I haven't role claimed, you haven't missed that.

Cases aren't really a reason to trust me. I could case as mafia too. Do it the good old fashioned way and base it on my play. However, we shouldn't discount him, Talya could have been a gambit to gain town cred, and he should still be a possibilitiy.

I think Dice is the best lynch we have so far. His trying to link people and the way he has been playing can give us alot of information on D1 and possibly a scum.

Now Lenlo joins in on the lynch as well in a fairly lack-a-daisical attitude.  We already know he was town though, so this doesn't matter too much.

 

 right now it's getting silly, the third town PR you have quoted for no reason. If they weren't dead and confirmed PRs I'd think you were suspicious of them.

I think I missed Talya's vote, but she obviously was involved in this.  We already know Talya was a symp hidden in the infamous third vote on the train, RTE and Len were town, and Mish is still alive, little sus of her for starting the train off.

And besides, playing your meta can be Wifom aswell, so I wouldn't use it as a card to incrimitate/redeem someone from their actions.

  I know this isn't part of Rands stuff but I'd just like to say, I think meta is a useful tool. It's not the be all and end all of casing but its a place to start. If anyone would like to discuss meta and its usefulness start a thread in the mafia boards and ill talk about it there

Basically, Ley, Dap, and Mish were the three people mainly involved in this. of those still alive. But at this point it looks like you are calling all three if us scummy. I know you qualify this later on so ill wait till then. But I'm involved with everything lol  I didn't go past page 27, so if there was anything on this after that, I didn't get a chance to see it, but Ley barely touched this, just noted distinction between DM and Firefox.  However, since he has already proven himself a 1-shot vig, he is fairly confirmed.  see this bit bugs me. During your WOT I didn't get the feeing Ley was confirmed in your opinion until now. I get the feeling you will turn around tomorrow or something and try discredit Ley and call him scummy. For some reason this bit really bugs me.

This leaves Mish and Dap.  Mish has said that she used to have the staff, but as we have theorized, the staff could be in mafia hands as well.  do you doubt that she had the staff? Or just that she is town.

Personally I only doubt the latter, it would be a dumb thing to lie about as mafia if she had never had it This means that Mish could potentially be mafia because of having the staff I don't follow this logic and it gets a bit hazy from here (because it would be just like Ithi to give both staffs to the mafia and the stealing ability to the town, isn't the stealing ability linked to having the staff?to see where that would go, or something along those lines), so I am putting a strong FoS on Mish.  

From what you have quoted I kinda feel this but not too strong. It was the rest of the thread that nagged me about Mish.

Do a full case in her. It'd help, and I'm not sure ill be able to do one for a while (only limited iPad time and laptop isn't working with DM at all

Dap also was very consistent on discounting the mafia symp possibility, always saying that it was useless, and honestly, unless I am so sleepy that I forgot a role claim from you, the main reason we trust you are your cases which have caught us Talya and the continued cases thereon.   until Talyas flip I didn't think this game would have a symp. I was sure she was mafia, plain and simple. Also I haven't role claimed, you haven't missed that.

Cases aren't really a reason to trust me. I could case as mafia too. Do it the good old fashioned way and base it on my play. However, we shouldn't discount him, Talya could have been a gambit to gain town cred, and he should still be a possibilitiy.

I'd of rolled with Ishy on the gambit front if I was mafia. Other than that I don't have a defense.

I quoted the town PRs to compare the reactions of those who we know are town, to those we think are mafia.  I was suspicious of whether or not Mish was town, and again, including people like Ley was an attempt to be able to compare with people who we know, or are almost certain are town.

Dang, lost the closest thing we had to confirmed town.  

 

Sorry Dap, I don't have time for a Mish case either, the previous one was stretching my time limit to the max.
