A Basic Game [Sign Ups]

This is going to be a little different guys

we're going to use ever so slightly more advanced roles than the norm

but you're going to be informed of the entire setup beforehand

no flavor for this sorry!

NOTE: If the Lynchers target is lynched at any time the game ends immediately with a Lyncher victory while all other players lose. Also note that if the Lynchers target dies they can no longer win but will remain in the game to aid whichever team suits their fancy or just generally cause whatever chaos they feel like.

 

Rules

1. Do not quote any private communication I have with you. Paraphrasing and lying is fine.

2. Do not discuss the game with anyone outside the game thread unless your role says that you can.

3. This is a hammer game. When a majority is reached the hammer falls.

4. Days will last 72 hours and Nights will last 24 hours. Be active please.

[Nolder]

Vanilla Townie: Town aligned players with no other role or power. They win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one Town aligned player is alive.

 

Cop: Town aligned player that may choose to investigate another player at Night. In the morning they will receive a result of either GUILTY or INNOCENT. Lyncher will show as GUILTY. The cop wins when all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one Town player is alive.

 

Doctor: Town aligned player that may protect someone from being killed at Night. They may not protect themselves and will not be told if they protected someone successfully or not. The doctor wins when all threats to the Town are eliminated and at least one Town player is alive.

 

Backup Doctor: Town aligned player that has no power until the Doctor is dead (See Doctor for power description). The backup doctor wins when all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one Town player is alive.

 

Mafia Goon: Mafia aligned player with no other role or power. Able to talk to his/her partners on a QT. The mafia goon wins if living mafia members outnumber town players during the Day.

 

Role Cop: Mafia aligned player that may choose to investigate another player at Night. In the morning they will be told that players role. The mafia role cop wins if living mafia members outnumber town players during the Day.

 

Janitor: Mafia aligned player that may choose to target a player at Night. If that player is killed their role and alignment will be given only to the Janitor. This power may only be used once. The janitor wins if living mafia members outnumber town players during the Day.

 

Lyncher: Is given a Town target at the beginning of the game. If the target player is ever lynched while the lyncher is alive the lyncher wins and the game ends. If the target is killed the lyncher can no longer win but remains in the game.

Waiting to see if I die in Wombat's game any time soon... That's taking all my current brain power. I think I could do 2 basic games at the same time, but with that one I'm wary of overextending myself.
