That isn't true. All his convoluted theorising all would come crashing down if I flipped town or he flipped mafia. The plausible reasons he would go to all that effort and potentially ping Key or anyone that was reading her as Town is that 1) he was play acting as town to get me miseliminated which is dumb as he could have just like Ithi said I had convinced him. All the rest of it was wasted effort that would only make him look more wolfy. Or 2) he was town and he really thought I was mafia. Nothing else made sense. You misrepped what he said, brushed off his reply and brushed off my reply and my vote on you. Bizarre that you are now claiming you couldn't have known you were making a genuine error. No it is not about the Oaths but it shows what gaps there are in them and the Aes Sedai lax approach to legality. When the Aes Sedai sisters are interrogating the Black Ajah member, pretty sure there were no ter'angreal used, only the Power. If memory serves correctly, at least.

But it is canon that literal torture - as long as it follows set rules (healing offered, doesn't continue past sun up/down) is not using it as a weapon. It doesn't seem a huge stretch to include a legally sanctioned execution as not being a weapon. While this is a dodgy point, it is entirely consistent with the books in this regard. Remember in the books they could stab her Warder to death just to make arresting her easier. Also the Oaths don't mention Dark friends another confusing point, especially regarding the Last Battle etc. The Three Oaths are a very awkward subject in book canon, I don't see that the show has done much worse. Possibly with the exception of the S2 finale, which seemed tenuous.

I'm not sure I really like how "be more Zen Heavy" Turin is now using my wolf equity to incriminate another player. Like I said, if you are town and think I'm mafia you should have voted for me. Otherwise the only people benefitting from my wolf equity is the wolves. If you really think I'm mafia but decided it was better to leave me with a 66% chance of being the RB or Strongman, and go after someone else instead, it seems like you have rather shit yourselves in the foot. For the wolves keeping me in game makes sense, I'll confuse everything with WIFOM and I'm an easy out if you get to close to a wolf. Lenlo of Town made the right play since he suspects me, though still not convinced he wasn't just keeping the door open to miselimination if everything went wrong at EoD. DPR straight misrepresented Marsh, and set up his elimination and no one, including Marsh seems that bothered about it. Anyone want to explain to me why this smoking gun was ignored or why Marsh wasn't saved by people pointing out the "honest" mistake? I'm confuddled. Kinda disappointing to be still alive actually. No idea what you guys are up to or how to help you. But you need to trust me since you haven't eliminated me, not trusting me (as much as anyone else obviously) and leaving me in game only benefits the wolves.

If I was making an accusation why would I back down from it? What would be the point of accusing someone but not really? Thanks for your useful contribution to the discussion. Always willing to pick an argument on these subjects, are you not? The original post makes very clear that I am asking a question and not making an accusation. But thanks for the opportunity to make that even more clear.

I think in context what I am saying is clear enough. I'm not making any accusations, or kink-shaming, or anything else, I'm asking for clarification why presenting sex as positive is boring or a bad thing. Why does there have to be some sort of edgy cheap thrill? Compare it to 80s sword and sorcery which were chocabloc full of scantily clad people with some also being full of nudity and sexual violence (Barbarian Queen springs to mind in that regard, the way Lana Clarkson escapes from the dungeon is, well, an eye opener to say the least). Is the argument that that is the only way sex should be presented in the media? Someone getting a vicarious thrill from non-consent or otherwise kinky fantasies does not make them a bad person and I'm not accusing anyone of having those kinks. What I'm asking is why should there needs to be some edge to the sex shown, why mention taboo, people doing what they want, male gaze, etc?

Yeah, me too. I've voted for continuing, cos I feel like it will keep throwing up these options so there is nothing lost with pressing on a bit. But the other options all seem fine.

What, lol? Nothing taboo? Not mindblowingly dirty? No male gaze? Do you mean that they have presented sex as normal and healthy between willing partners and this is not up your alley? And this is a genuine question BTW not an accusation. I really don't get what you are trying to say. Why would it need to cover any sort of taboo subject? Or anything negative about it? Especially why do you seem to be making a connection between these negative aspects and non-"boring" sex? I really don't understand what it is you are trying to say.

I'm heading to bed. Won't be around for EoD (and I'm not complaining, I knew it was 4am when I signed up 🙂 ) Don't know if I should try and think of the best place to put my vote. DPR seems the most wolfy so I'll guess I'll leave it there. Voting Marsh seems counter productive as though I think his logic is terrible I have him down as Town. Don't know if there is anything more to say to convince anyone I'm town. I'll ask you all this though, if you think that my wolf equity is so high that you won't trust for the rest of the game, eliminate me now. Resolve the whole issue, don't let the wolves save me to miseliminate later. So long as everyone thinks I'm mafia, it will cloud everyone's reads on anything involving me. Best thing I can do for town that situation is remove any WIFOM around me and let everyone start again without my distraction. So if you don't trust me, vote for me, get it out of the way. I don't think it will give you any info, but it will at least stop my behaviour affecting any more than D1 and it will put an end to such weirdness as Marsh's complicated theories. Of course if you do trust me, great! But otherwise get this over with day 1. My apologies and GL town.

Meditate has always paid off in the past and then we can rest a bit reduce fatigue if that is still necessary now the chamber is safe.
