The language is confusing slightly (I get the irony) but it is clear when you look at it. Clearly the motivation is to be nice, not to deceive, though it is very easy to get the wrong impression. Cannot help but feel this is a misrep, and with my grudging town suspicions of Marsh... Vote: DPR

Ah, this was I did not like Marsh's reasoning but he hadn't used it to throw suspicion on anyone. He was presenting a false dichotomy that I must be mafia or have an uber good PR, but had not made that argument actually do any work in terms of who was mafia at that point.

I think that is definitely a possibility. I think his reasoning is plausible, but without knowing I'm town why is he calming me down and giving me an out as mafia? Of course, maybe he is just acting as innocent until proven guilty but that has not been my experience of Town!Turin so far, but maybe he has mellowed out since our first game, where he battered me with literally hundreds of posts in a back and forth of t/t violence. Which could I suppose be a reason to not repeat that again, lol.

I'm not resigned, but I accept it as a real possibility. Which does make suspicious of the person that gets the ball rolling, but there you go. I don't see how I can make a "Heavy is town" case. But I can try and make my flip as worthwhile as possible, and I can point out weaknesses in other people's arguments. I would be voting DPR but I'm not completely sold yet, but to me there is something off with his posting. But with lots of people so it cannot all be a W/W love in.

I don't like Marsh's reasoning. Admittedly I'm biased - but even ignoring he is pushing me... But I get the feeling he is honest. He is so certain from my first few posts that I'm mafia that he concocts a trap and risks appearing wolfy to everyone (see Ithi's vote) to catch more wolves. He then elaborately paints Key as a fellow wolf and then predicts people will only be eliminating us three over the coming days. But if he was a wolf, he would know I'm not and all this farfetched theorising would be pointless. And risking being eliminated and flipping wolf himself would equally undermine it all. So if he really means all this, he has to be town. Otherwise it is all just fluff to miseliminate me which seems a bit of overkill at this point.

This seems an odd statement. You are sussing me because of my posting style, why would my posting style become more suspicious if you are town? I mean I get it means you are genuinely motivated to say so but given how many people agree with you I don't think suspicion of me is AI at this point. Not damning in itself and perhaps not even AI, but added to your nonchalance about eliminating a town player as necessary collateral, your overplaying the information aspect of my miselimination, it does give me the creeps a bit. Especially as we both know that when mafia, you are the man with the plan from D1. So wolf!Lenlo would be expected to have this kind of plan and given the low activity, low hanging fruit would seem to be the way to go. Not the strongest case ever, no. But then DPR flies in with a passionate and unnecessary defense. Seems a bit over the top. Then the half-hearted inclusion but not really of Dice just pinged me. Dude, I have never come across any such thing as QTs but in the three games I have played/read along with they have been one of the top topics of conversation of returning players and it was me that pointed out the newspaper icon on the profile. So I don't think you can really take this piece of information very far.

May have future consequences? That sounds ominous. I'd say do it but feeling a bit nervous about it.

I'm not worried - as I said I am trying to do damage limitation to town, and maybe even get something good out of making such a target of myself. I'm wrong to think it is not very pro-town to be nonchalant about eliminating a town player? Really? Have to say that is a hard disagree from me there. The information point is I think Lenlo is overplaying it so then the "so what if he isn't mafia" seems more reasonable. Town/mafia we still win - I'd question this reasoning as there is not a lot riding on my flip except if I am mafia. As my tone says nothing for anyone else. Like if people don't like my tone and varying vocabulary, does that make them more likely to be town or mafia? I am totally not making any AtE, I'm just trying to engage Lenlo. And yes I think there are flaws in his reasoning as well but I will fully admit I'm biased there, but the main thing is to get him to fully elucidate his reasoning for all you other guys. But I don't really follow your passionate defense of him. Not sure what I make of that. I my wild conspiracy hat I'd say it would be tying you two together as wolf brothers but seems a bit heavy handed.
