The only goal sooh would have had on D1 was to lynch someone who wasn't her partner. Whether it was Darthe or Ironeyes, doesn't matter to her. And she's experienced enough to know that uninformed townie do irrational things all the time, so why would that deter her from doing something that's supposedly irrational if it still fits her wincon?

What stuck out to me the most was the reactions to your OP. Kat said it seemed wolfy (which I'd actually like her to elaborate on). Laine said something about you making a big deal about it, which eh. And Darthe said it seemed pre-written... which is a bit of a head scratcher to me. But then most of the things he says are.

 

I just found it generally funny. I don't think it says much irt your alignment.

Kat was joking 100% I thought it was completely not serious in all actuality and my "wolfy" comment kept with that theme

She is kinda the Clov female version, for me, in a sense. But if I recall she kinda struggles with thread presence as scum. So if the level of involvement drops then I'll definitely take note.

From what I've been told (including BFG herself), BFG's scum game is pretty clearly distinguished from her town game.

Are you saying that's not the case?

I'm saying she's profecient at faking this early in the game lol I don't think anything she's done is indicative of her role by itself.

Bfg I didn't address Cory/darthe because darthe will always seem wolf to me because of the way he plays (belligerent, "all-knowing", uncompromising) and Cory will always appear town because of the way he gets so invested in the game. I'm horrible at reading both so I will comment very little on either, especially early unless they do something crazy.

I really dont get where that impression comes from. If anything I think the opposite rings more true. Im invested as hell and I am pretty clear on how often I think im wrong.

 

Why are cory and I being paired so often btw?

Because you two were beating your chests at each other quite early in the game?

 

Anyway, you never did answer my question about why you would ask if there can be a no lynch? That was a serious question that requires a serious answer!

I went through all of Sooh’s content. I’m leaving out the interactions with dead players cause it’s irrelevant.

 

 

 

Day 1

 

-  Sooh and I joked around about the fail of our hydra game in MU.

- Sooh tells Cory that Pizza did exactly what he did in her hydra game with him and that they were villa and got lynched D1 for it. Context is a tiny bit unclear, but I’m pretty sure she was referring to Cory’s OP. Making this comparison is interesting coming from her. Looks good for Cory imo.

- Cory calls out Sooh for being wolfy (on page 4! lol) and she just rolls her eyes at him.

- Some inane commentary about Darthe and Cory getting a room.

- Says she doesn’t get why people are saying that several people haven’t checked in. Says only salami hasn’t, and that It’s prolly more to do with lack of thread presence. Adds that it’s early to give reads but gives BFG a possibly town read based on posting enough and says it pings her that Laine was being way too serious way too soon.

- When BFG says she has one decent reason to town read Kat, but needs to check it against her scum games first, Sooh tells her she’d love to hear it. Could see her giving BFG a push to make Kat look good, as her scummate.

- Urges Kat to share what she sees irt Cory/Darthe, even if she can’t reach any conclusion. This is in response to Kat saying that she won’t be commenting much on either because Darthe always appears scum and Cory always appears town. Kat basically says she’s horrible at reading both. Which still make me feel iffy about her confidence on Cory D2.

- Asks Liz if she the kind of player to comment about everything, like Zander does.

- Liz disagrees with the observation and asks her what about her posts seems like she’s commenting about everything. Sooh replies saying she seems nitpicky, taking posts too seriously and that it feels as if she’s “out to get people”. I looked back and the players Liz was questioning up until that moment were: Darthe, me, Laine, Kat. Possibly trying to draw her attention away from Kat?  Don’t really perceive this as a w/w interaction, though I need to see further interaction.

- She asks me to expand about the PerC game I mentored in that Liz was playing in as well and what that tells me about Liz in this game. At the time I didn’t make much of the question cause I brought up the Perc reference myself earlier, but looking at the wording I can kinda see how it was a bit of a leading question. I think this looks good for Liz. I don’t see why Sooh would want me to have a go at Liz as her scummate.

- More back and forth with Liz. Says it seems like she’s trying to find things to say and asks about things Sooh wouldn’t ask. Sort of ends it with the conclusion that they play differently and adds that she hopes Darthe answers her question.

- I respond to Sooh’s question about Liz with what I know from the PerC game but basically say I’m not bothered by it. She thanks me for responding but doesn’t give her thoughts.

- Another nudge at Liz, irt her going at Darthe and having a vote on him for not answering her questions.

- Adds that she wants to see where Liz’s questions lead to. So far Sooh seems to be riding Liz hard, imo.  But doesn’t actually lead up to voting her. Still I feel like she is definitely going out of her way to make Liz look bad.

- Another nudge from Cory that he’s not buying what she’s selling.

- Cory calls her out on her question to me irt Liz sounding like a leading question. Sooh says she probably could have worded it differently but that she didn’t put me down a path I wasn’t already on. I didn’t remember her saying this actually, but it’s pretty funny. When I referenced Liz’s play in the PerC game I was actually answering her question. They have a couple back and forth about it.

- Her read list included me and BFG as town, Darthe and Cory as light town, Liz as null and Alanna as suspect. Says she has no memory of the remaining players. So 4 of the players aren’t in her list (Ironeyes, Kat, Salami, Pral/Hallia – Salami hasn’t checked in atp). She keeps Liz as null after giving her such a hassle but I think it’s her going with the feel of the thread. I was suspecting Laine and so was Liz. Prolly felt she could get traction there.

- She raises an eyebrow at Darthe voting me.

-   Responds to Liz saying she’s trying to share her, saying she talks about what she sees irt motivation and so on. So more confrontation exchanges between the two.

- Says she has no idea why people are voting me, that I’m playing the same as I did in our Hydra game. Me thinks she was redecorating her pocket in my honor lol

- Salami asks Cory what he thinks about Sooh’s play, right after he posts a post explaining his thoughts about Sooh. Sooh tells Salami he just explained it.

- When Sooh casts a vote on Darthe, Salami asks her how does it make Darthe scum. Sooh responds with Darthe either defending a scum PR or whiteknighting a townie.

- Responds to yet another prod from Cory. All capital letters and stuff. A little AtE.

- More exchanges with Cory, where she basically says she “understands” when he says he’s gotta do his job.

- Another nudge from Salami when she revotes Darthe after ironeyes’ claim. Sooh responds but instead of dealing with her, he turns to Cory to think what he makes of her Darthe progression. IMO, Cory has made it pretty clear what he makes of Sooh up until this point lol

- Sooh pokes Salami for having no independent thought.

 

 

 

 

Day 2

 

- Responds to Liz’s vote on her saying she can see where Liz is coming from because she was pushing Darthe. Adds that she thinks Kat needs to be looked at more closely but she is not around at weekends. Says she doesn’t know what to read liz. Unfamiliar player, yada yada yada, doesn’t know how she usually plays on D1… bla bla bla.

 - Says she’s good with Cory’s content so far.

- I questioned her line of thought at EoD, irt suspecting Darthe (a town read of hers) over basically town reading ironeyes (who she had no read on). She excuses it cause it came out of no where.

- More talk in response to BFG on why she gets Liz’s vote on her and that she didn’t even think about Liz pushing Darthe as well (as BFG points out).

- When BFG asks her if she has anything, she promises to go back to look at Liz. Doesn’t really follow through. Might have just checked out at this point imo, from the sound of her posts. But she does quote one post of Liz where she explains the shift of her vote from Darthe to Laine at EoD and says she likes the explanation. Which is funny considering her approach to Liz so far.

- The next post she kinds turns around at goes at Liz again. I don’t quite understand the FoS but she seems to have a problem with her voting laine, implying that darthe’s train was a “sure thing” so Liz wouldn’t have had to vote there. This post has a bit of a gotcha vibe to it. Like she got excited over finding something to throw her way.

- Says that she’s concerned and feeling tinfoily about Cory cause some people are suspecting him. Which contradicts what she said earlier that she felt fine with him.

- A bunch of back and forth with Cory, accusing him of spinning things and misrepping her.

- Salami weighs into the exchange, saying Sooh reversed her read before Ironeyes claimed. Sooh explains why she thought Darthe knew that Ironeyes was town, after Salami says that it might have been TMI.

- A lot more back and forth with Cory when she gets aggro.

- Liz prods her some about why she followed Darthe’s suggestion to vote Ironeyes.

- And yet more back and forth with Cory lol

- Liz asks Sooh for her top town and top scum reads and Sooh says: me and BFG as top town, and Kat, Salami and Liz as scum. Then when Liz asks for reasoning she says she already explained me and BFG (guessing in her read list). Kat – always scum reads her, Liz- plays different and doesn’t like her progression on Darthe, Salami – defending her and then giving people an opening to vote her.

 

 

 

tldr

 

Cory has been pushing Sooh hardcore since freaking page 4. And has kept the heat on the entire time. I don’t see a world where he’s her teammate pretty much ever, unless he like came into the game just deciding to hardbus the living crap out of her, which I doubt. I also think his independent play speaks for itself, but connection wise, I feel pretty confident that there isn’t one.

 

Irt Liz, Sooh put in an awful amount of energy into nudging her and trying to put negative attention on her. When she wasn’t busy responding to Cory’s posts, she was basically busy taking shots at Liz. I would be genuinely surprised if she’s rolling with her. She never actually places a vote on Liz, but I think it’s mostly to do with the flow of the thread than anything else.

 

Other things of note are that Sooh basically never interacts or even mentions Pral/Hallia slot. Not in her D1 reads list, not in the reads she gives on D2 and her PoE. Nada. Not sure if there’s something to it or not because I don’t know how Sooh usually handles herself irt teammates. If anyone has some insight though, share with the class.

 

With Kat, she has very limited interaction with and hardly even mentions. Mostly just urges her to comment more about Darthe and Cory. And sorta encourages BFG to share the reason for potentially town reading Kat. On D2 she says that Kat needs to be looked into but never actually does it. More like a throw away comment. Could be soft distancing. Also ends up in her PoE on D2 (PoE being Salami, Kat, Liz). Her reasoning being - I always scum read her. Just an easy thing to say without actual substance. Maybe Sooh was struggling to find an actual reason.

 

Irt Salami, interaction kinda varies. At EoD1 asks Cory what his thoughts on Sooh are and then prods her a couple of times irt her vote on Darthe and her progression but then sort of focuses on hashing it out with Cory vs interacting with her. She in turn prods him back for having no independent thoughts. From memory eventually lands on her being TWTBW. Then on D2, In her exchanges with Cory, kinda defends her a bit. And Sooh ends up having him in her PoE because she feels he defended her and then changed his stance. Though from what I recall he kept his vote on Kat at EoD2 so the reasoning is not making a ton of sense.

 

 

IMO Kat is most likely scum, via Sooh’s encouragement to BFG to town read her and just the mild nudge but no actual push. She’s also in her PoE. Again, I’m not sure how Sooh plays her cards irt scummates,  but it’s common practice to drop a teammate in the POE. I do however question if she’d put two in there. Ie she gave Salami, Kat and Liz as her PoE. So did she get all crafty before she was going down or is there something about her not mentioning Pral at all the entire game? Unsure. Content wise I find Salami a lot more questionable though…. But I dunno. Both Salami and Pral were town reading her, but Pral was more echoing Salami’s reasoning. And both voted Kat over Sooh. Which is note worthy cause Sooh flipped scum PR

I will say this - I am pretty confident that Kat is scum. I agree with everything Nyn and BFG presented in their cases about her. When I've played with her before I remember her low posting but having a drive behind her posts when she did post. She seemed to pick up on small things that other people missed. Here she's been mostly hanging back. Her "case" on Sooh seemed to just be following the flow, and basically "well I guess I have to vote her" rather than a real drive to vote her. That's my impression.

 

Even today, with her few posts on Csarmi, I'm not feeling a really big push or drive to make something happen.

 

If there's a third scum in the mix, it's between Prallia and Csarmi, and I'm kind of leaning Csarmi at the moment. For reasons. I'll see what they have to say for themselves  when they show up again. Hope to see Hallia especially at some point.

I don't know what else I can do to be town. This happens every game. I play them all the same and y'all keep mislynching me for my normal play. We can't afford another mislynch today.

Why probably me?  BFG was kicking ass and also found you suspect so I don't see your point there irt the NK choice. 

 

I'm not going to wifom over Hallia when I know she's just moved cross state and was driving for like two and a half days. Though I'd like Pral to clarify if he's flying solo now or if Halli will becoming along. @Pral?

 

And I don't really accept the lack of interaction just due to time zones. We all have different time zones and respond to stuff that's been posted while we were gone.
