Your DEF playing different then last game

 

I feel youre playing somewhat differently from Disney as well.

 

So if I feel youre playing differently then both games you were Town in, my suss should be justified somewhat unless youre disputing the facts.

 

Then we can discuss.

 

Im not down playing anything irt to your PR;s.

 

I get the difference.

I'm not disputing the fact that I'm playing differently from both of those earlier games. I play my role in the way I see it most optimally.

 

That being said, Disney was highly unusual for me in the way that the IC role was set up. I was not revealed at start, rather I was granted the ability to reveal at any point during the game by simply PMing a mod. This had 2 effects on my play.

Effect #1: I was forced (by responsibility to my team) to milk my role for as much as it was worth, which was a lot. I had to play very recklessly whilst balancing that with the fact that it was a majority game. Imagine if I had let myself get lynched because I wasn't paying enough attention.

 

Effect #2: I was effectively burnt out. Disney forced me to play extremely actively and always be aware of the vote count. Can I be slightly scummier without getting another vote? Who's currently not voting for me? Is it a tipping point for them if I make another outrageous claim/case? Combine this with actually trying to make outrageous claims/cases that lead somewhere and you've got someone who works very hard for a very long time without respite.

 

 

Now with regards to my disdain of D1.

I am not used to nor do I like long phases, it tends to be too much time and too little content. People fill the void with fluff and it gets harder to get to what's good. Nowhere is this more true than on D1.

Granted, D1 is the day of the meta-read and tone-reading, but seeing as I have very little of that with any of you it's hard for me to get invested. I certainly read most of what's being said, but my contribution would likely be limited in its scope and even moreso in its accuracy.

 

 

I think I've covered all of the criticism against me, for now. Hit me up if you want something specific and I'll look into it.

Yes, my answer to that is that I play differently in every game I play because my roles are different.

 

If I read myself not knowing my role, I'd be null. Nothing I've said is something that is alignment indicative.

 

 

I get how you and others could see it as Null and ofc it very well could be.

 

Thing is, is that Im a pretty big Meta user.  And in very admittedly limited Meta with you feel youre playing different atp then Im used to.

Believer gives very easy reads for ~uncertain or next to no reason to myself/Z/Dice and in part Besie. Zander jumps on him, not for the emptiness of those reads, but because he has reads? This reads so weird to me Z.

 

Following that the exchange between Believer/Zander ends with me feeling better about Believer and worse about Z.

No time for more details atm.

Hes playing vastly different then the last game and different enough in Disney thus far.

 

Getting reads from him last game early D1 was a task.  He talks about how D1 and D1 reads are crap.

Ok, caught up from yesterday. Thankfully not as much pages as I expected !

 

I do not have experience with a lot of people in this game. Haven't played with Besie, Nego. Played just a handful of games with manbat and calder, don't remember much how they play. 

 

That said, I wanted to know how Blesie played because I kinda saw some kind of appealing tone in this game. I know that she has only played one town game so far and I went ahead and checked it (Lost Mafia- notice her tone. She sounded similar as she is here - excited, analyzing etc. She got mislynched D2 in that game.

 

I don't see anything that has stood out from her so far this game. 

 

Ok I dont know if im just nitpicking and I know these were a ways back but Pral played in Diablo with Besie and he Modded World's End.

 

But this certainly pinged me.

For one, yes. Hard to interact when he's not here.

For two, if he expected to be interacted with - and thus be around for that to occur - then why did he say he won't be here D1?

Well Ill admit to not being the best Besie reader historically, Im 1/1 on Town reading her and 0/3 Scum reading her iirc (unless you count Diablo where we were Hydra Scummates...then id be 1/4 lolololololol )

 

But if I didnt have any Meta on her Id prolly lean villager atp.

 

When I get the chance I want to go back to her other games and ISO her to see if I can flesh out this read more but Id prolly give her a slight Town read.

Zander - Not too much scum experience with him. But, one game stands out as it was a scum sweep. I didnt really suspect him until the end when his final vote explanation felt like his "early feeling" posts were backed into. Like if you submitted a paper and then had to fudge outline notes and a rough draft to hand into the professor that you never originally did. I have that same feeling now. That his feelings are arbitrary and not hunting. Just willing to back into something that will get a lynch through.

 

Calder - Unhelpful. Not particularly insightful. Inflated sense of self. Always scum.

Yes, I did mention that I modded the game with her. I don't exactly read the game I mod, just count the votes :)

 

I haven't played with Besie before. Just modded a game she was in. Looks like she was wolf in all except one. Does she AtE like this in her wolf games?

It's for a specific reason that I will reveal if she's in fact scum, but tbh I don't think so, and I'm not too enthused on Nego being scum either

 

To be honest, this game seems much different from the last scum game I saw calder play so I'm inclined to think he's town. Incidentally, I also think that if zander is a wolf all he's doing is pushing townies right now, i.e. he and believer are never on a scum team. Aorn i'm torn because I don't really notice believer saying much itt aside from defending himself and i'd like to see more reads. I cannot say I have confidence in a read on his alignment one way or the other, and it's probably at least halfway a me problem.

 

I have darthe as a villager mostly because of a gut feeling based on how you're reading me, I'm just waiting on you exploding with wim again to call you a lock villager. I think if you're a villager it will come as the game progresses too

 

Besie I had as town because the way she said that she was leaning town on me but (player I think darthe or zander) had a good point about something I had said or done and it read to me like besie is a player that seems to have trouble separating her reads and the reads of other players, likely because she has a hard time not doubting herself. That said, I understand that it's possible she was just saying that to appease me and also leave herself the option of voting me later, so I don't necessarily think she's a lock villager either just someone I don't consider worth voting yet. If my personality read is wrong, she's probably a wolf.

I dont really know what to expect from Scum!Monstr nor do I have a lot of experience playing with Town!Monstr but from what I can recall of it tho this seems to feel similar.

 

I dont remember the game but if you could link me one or the name that would be great.

 

As far as Besie goes and like you this is more of a personality read as I know her quite well away from the game.

 

I can certainly see Town!Besie having doubts on her reads and re evaluating.  Though shes also quite sharp so I dont see her mixing up her reads and others as something she would do very often.

 

Shes also more then capable as Scum!Besie of pocketing people....I know from personal experience....sadface.gif

 

And can and likely will be quite stubborn in general and would be that way on things as either alignment imo,

This is a bad look to me. Zander and Darthe are up there in terms of content. Null without able to give specifics seems unlikely.

8. Nego - #103 Lol what is this post. I can’t tell if it’s serious and you actually town read him for this. #387 is also weird considering Nego has made plenty of his own irrelevant posts. Seems like a weird thing to point out. #449 also seems weird. #453 “will continue his catch up” except he’s already caught up? Just seems permanently disjointed.

 

 

I sometimes - especially when I know I don't have time to catch up fully or when I know it will take me a long time before I'm fully caught up - read the thread in two tabs: one where I catch up and the other one where I have the latest page open so I can see the current discussion and take part in it. This was a case of me catching up but knowing that I was not able to do it fully before I got home later that day and thus checking if anyone had posted in between those catch up posts I made.

My read on you is inadequate because I'm unable to read your lololololol posts as alignment indicative. I think outside of them you make some good observations but I'm not confident enough to call you town yet.

 

The problem I have with this game is that even though I've played with some of you before, it's only been once or twice and a very long time ago so I don't have your meta. For an example, I'm unable to follow the case on Tiink because it's based on meta and I have no idea how accurate it is. Nothing game-related really makes me think that he's scum.

 

The only one I think I could read at least semi-confidently is Sooh and even that is if I saw her as town. I played a game with her some time ago where the two of us + Shad formed a pretty strong town core. None of us suspected each other at all, nor had any reason to doubt each other. I don't know why but I'm not seeing the same Sooh here, at least not yet, but I have no reason to think she's scum either.
