Anyway, I am going to be the d2 lynch. And I should be. No problem.But, after my flip, lynch Zander. He is the obvious mafia here, looking from my perspective. Stalling the vote to lead to a no lynch, going after a weak opposition, tryign to gain favour point by not participating in a town lynch and opportunistic voting. He would be my biggest scum readAlso, don't like Lenlo posturing at the end of the day. I get that his vote proects the lynch but his tone with zander was as if he was trying to curry favour points with town. His bullying of wifi to get her role also looked like role fishing and I don't like it.Based on the quick skimming of the thread.

Okay so Hallia made 46 posts before I posted my reads list of those I consider a total of 14 of them to be post related (see all future reference posts for details) so that gives a 0.30434782608%  game related content.  However, It took me most of the day to do my post and I wasn't keeping up with the thread that much during that time so give me a 2% either way chance for error. so if we round that would be: 28-32% of game related posts...which figures out to non-game related posts to 72-68%. Which is a far, far cry from the 95% I thought it was.   :dry: so:

This is town wifi. She plays like a newbie and I usually end up thinking thatshe can hide easily behind the newbieness. But, I don't see her making a lot of effort just to waste it, if she is scum. I don't see her being scum at all.Also, Hallia's response to wifi is pretty much townish. I see her being evry aggressive and opportunistic if hallia was scum.

Outstanding wifi post.

Pral's been in a couple of games with me. So, knows how I play.  I have been town in every one but one, check my siggie. He knows I am town.  He can use that info as wolf to link me to him for a ML OR recognizes the TOWNIE in me that I am.

Well i reread EoD and this is kinda where im at,

 

Tinker- Claim and subsequent dl extension and way more invested then his last game where he was Scum.  His vote bothers me the least on the Kat train.

 

Crusher- I have very little Meta here. His EoD seemed ok irt to his Kat progression.  A Pral Scum flip would make me feel better about him.

 

Shad- Pinged me early on.  His catchup made me feel better about him.  EoD a little sketchy. 

 

Cory- I can see a world where the lynch on Kat could come from either alignment. I can see Town!Cory seeing its like little over an hour out and try to get things going.  I can also see a world where Scum!Cory was just trying to get an ML.

 

Lenlo- Involvement level looks good.  I dont like that he parked hsi vote on Pral but I can see Town!Lenlo doing that to spite just as easliy as I can see Scum!Lenlo doing it regardless of Pral's alignment.  Both of his abilities he's claimed make sense from either alignment imo.

 

Wifi-  Her early game pinged me. Also her certainty of Hallia's alignment is note worthy.  If shes right it could be a GOAT read from Town!Wifi but shes had the read for awhile and it could be a less experienced Wolf awkwardly placing a teammate. She could also just be Town and the awkwardness could be coming from a bit of uncertainty as to how to play her abilites.

 

Hallia- She hasnt been overly Towny or Scummy but. her nonchalant attitude towards EoD, and her progression on Kat and lack of empathy to it seems out of place.  I dont see how Town!Hallia gets to where she does on Kat and care so little.

 

Pral- I dont see where a world where Prals online like that more then once and doesnt jump in as Town.

 

 

Either my reads are GOAT or Cory's a Wolf.

 

This could work the other way too:

No! Not yet! Don't know who to use it on as of yet.  want to make sure its a townie.

No I did not fall asleep in the shower...I was done with the shower at 10:20 but then the nurse is supposed to put wraps on my legs...it usually takes the nurse a half an hour...the aid waited 10 minutes and figured the nurse was on break so she did it took about 15 minutes, then I had to comb my hair and go potty.  :tongue: enough info for you.  :smile:

Page 1 of Crusher's ISO, he makes no game related reads whatsoever. He makes some generic statements about "wolves like to do x or y" with no serious application.

 

Except this:

 

I actually came back to read Chad and could go this way. Also trying to find the reason somebody said they felt good about Halia. Halia is one of my favd but not sure that she has done to make anyone feel good Bout her this game. Ok the sexy time Skype talk was pretty nice but I mean related to the game at hand.

Now here's the thing. No one had commented on what I was doing that was scummy at the start of the game. I made snap reads on Zander and Halli, joked around a lot besides that. I wasn't ready to play yet. People like Cory and Zander and maybe Halli have a reason to suss that, because as a villager I'm a freight train most of the time and as a wolf I really struggle at replicating my volume. No one said this. No one gave a reason, but the reason was pure meta and I expected initial suspicion on my slot from town!Z/Cory/Halli/maybe Lenlo.

 

Crusher didn't know that. He popped in and said he thought I was suspicious too. Didn't give a reason. Sure no one else was giving a reason, but his reason couldn't be theirs.

 

I asked him to elaborate, because I thought "if there is a wolf sussing me it's this guy."

 

Of course. Please understand I have no meta on anyone in this game other than Halia. Played with Zander but won't act like I have a clue how he plays as scum. So early in the game I can only look at what I consider general scum tells.

 

I felt two instances of what felt like you making statements that I thought felt insincere and scum town buddying. One was your read ofHalia as town and I have seen nothing Hallia has done that would make anyone comment on her being town. I admit she is the only one I got meta so I may be overstating it.

 

Second was your comment abut the person who extended the day. Explaining why it wouldn't make sense as a scum play. Why you wouldn't do it as scum. Comes off as a look I'm a townie playand not sure how it helps to find scum. Just creates wifom.

 

Again this could be exactly how you play as town. I don't know. But feels off to me.

I was willing to roll with it for a time; it was still early in the game. But his reasons consist of he didn't like my unexplained snap read on Halli and he didn't like me giving Tiink town cred for the day extension.

 

These aren't just really generic in and of themselves. They're things other people did too. Why me? Crush saw other people call me wolfy and I never called them to task on it. I called him to task on it. It sort of feels like he wasn't expecting to have to justify much and made up reasons on the spot.

Is this a bit of a disconnect? I thought I was that someone. You factored it into your extrapolation of your read on me.

 

You are that someone. It was an attempt at humor.

 

Crush is a pretty funny guy. Does this read like an attempt at humor to any of you? Or a wolf who got called out and tried to walk it back?

 

Moving on into p2 of his ISO. #710 He calls out Zander for pushing Wifi because scum like to push easy targets and Wifi looks like one. That's ok I guess. What if Wifi was a wolf? Crush has no meta on her. Zander does. I don't see where he gets here unless he thinks Wifi is a villager.

 

This was his follow-through when I called the "joke" excuse suspicious:

 

No. I was saying "someone" like when you look down your nose at your kids when you already know they did it. As a father of 5 its a habit. But please iso me. I feel kinda left out here because Im not familiar with everyone. At JN Im sorta a big deal.

I'm not really buying it.

 

#831 Tells Halli she's null and he thinks me dropping a town read on her might be buddying. Nothing new here.

 

Now we get a reads list, sort of:

 

Halia- Only person I got meta on. Made a peculiar post about me linking to wifi because I asked her if she would like to vote someone early together. I was merely trying to be friendly. What sense would doing anything that obvious that early as scum? Would 2/3 of scum team pop out early like that day 1. I say no. I want to stay null because feel like a lot of my attention on her is like talking friends ear off at a party because they are the only person you know there.

 

Shad- I explained why I didn't feel good about her early. Wa related to a post she made about Halia then another about a power someone had. Both seem to be in the " townie talk" category. Yet, more I read of her our thoughts on couple things seem aligned. Closer then null at the moment.

 

Zander- Never saw him as scum but I find his play peculiar this game. Seems to be tryi

G his best to rattle wifi. He says its Zander tunnel? Maybe it is. But at JN rattling a new place or one that does not defend well is not town lay. It's scum play. Next step is blaming them when they flip town.

 

Wifi- Getting a lot of pressure. For a newbie defending pretty well though her " do I do it like this post early" seemed strange to me on an exchange with Zander early. At JN we use GFY. I have no meta on her but I will guess town for now. She has a certain sincerely to her post .

 

I will do more in a bit. Got to do couple things. I will be here for 3 am eastern deadline. Get more reads up before that.

His comments on Halli aren't a read at all; he's just defending himself here. Nothing new on me. Nothing new on Zander. Town lean on Wifi for sincerity/good rebuttal is fine.

 

#910 drops a town read on Lenlo for the same reason he sussed me for dropping a town read on Tiinker, along with a +1 that he agrees Halli's "mislynching D1 is not the end of the world" post is suss. By the way he's still yet to comment on the other people who town read Tiinker for that same reason.

 

#1042, pretty much null on Cory, not sure what to make of him because their reads are so different but thinks Cory's Zander and Halli reads are more likely to be right than his own. :???: Brings Kat into the picture.

 

#1056/1068/1080 says it's too late to start trying to figure out Kat better now, agrees with me that we should just lynch a null and try to analyze the pre-lynch chatter after the flip, drops his post-hammer vote. He hadn't made any effort to get involved and really get conversation rolling at EoD though. He was suss of Halli for her "mislynching D1 isn't so bad" comment but he seems just fine/in agreement with me sheeping and lynching from the nulls. For a guy whose minimal focus thus far has all been on universal tells, he's not really consistent in applying them.

 

#1489 hesitantly willing to lynch Pral over Zander, still bothered Zander might have been pushing an easy target in Wifi but thinks scum would struggle to sustain this level of play for this long. ~~It's wrong on Zander on both counts but that's just a lack of meta. Fair enough I guess.

 

On to page 3:

 

#1600 reasserts that he thinks Lenlo and Wifi are villagers, doesn't expand from his initial reasoning.

 

#1662 I didn't much care for him reminding Cory that I'd said his initial response to me was ok. It's kind of weird when presumably I'm still his top wolf read. I guess the consequence of his night action might have altered his read on me without him saying something to that effect.

I saw you critiquing Shad for his comments re: Tinker being villagery for his extension and saying he was wolfy for saying so because villagers are preoccupied with looking villagery.

 

But reading more carefully I think you are saying specifically that Shad's comments on how he would use the day extension were Shad posturing as a villager and an unnecessary addition?

 

Or am I misunderstanding?

That and it is a statement that is game related yet serves no function in catching scum. Similar to how excessive set up talk is a good way for Mafia look like they are playing but serves as a distraction.

 

This could be a summary of Crusher's entire game thus far.

 

He is also talking in the present as if his read on me really hasn't changed. But he knows I didn't kill Halli N1. He's been taking it for granted that there are only two wolves.* Lenlo either blocked Pral or is Pral's partner so Crush should think I'm almost certainly town, no? Well, I don't see in Lenlo's ISO where he claimed who he blocked. Pral is an extremely reasonable assumption though. We were all pretty stupid for not having the foresight to ask Lenlo who all he blocked, but as the other town roleblocker this information should be way more in the forefront of town!Crush's mind than anyone else's.

 

* Why do I say he's taking it for granted there are only two wolves? He said it's 50/50 whether I'm town or Pral fired the shot because I was the person he blocked. He's locking Cory in because he blocked him and a shot went through. None of this makes any sense unless he's assuming two wolves.

The reaction test feels super walking it back, just like the "joke" irt me earlier.

 

Dude's a wolf. Spends almost no time trying to solve the game, none of his reads have evolved one inch since the first time he made any of them in spite of circumstances necessitating that he ought to have, any time he says something damning it was "surprise!" a really awkward joke or a reaction test or some nonsense. Banking the game on his roleblocks but didn't try to coordinate info with the already-outed town roleblocker. Assumes there are only two wolves but doesn't factor this into his reads at all when it makes a world of sense to do so. Fishy as F reason for sussing me when others did D1. Never expressed a thought on Tiinker or Pral all game. Dude is such a wolf.

I still think there's an outside chance it's WiFi. Like 20% maybe.

 

As long as we don't have locked LYLO votes (and that's typically not the case on DM) there's really no risk in going Crusher first since he's basically unlynchable at f3.

 

By reads I would go Crusher over WiFi as well so sort of a no-brainer

 

I'm kind of confused as to why he targeted me last night as well. He hasn't been particularly open about his suspicions (or hasn't had any) but I remember baseline accusations toward Zander and Shad and afaict he's treated me like a villager the entire game.
