... Because I can't be a wolf with BFG.

 

... And I can't be a wolf and BFG a villager.

 

I agree with half of that entirely.

 

I'm not ruling out the other half, but I'll entertain the argument of why it's not possible.

I mean I already gave my argument for this but Clov didn't think it's good enough 

 

 

It was a really well thought out, logical argument.  If it weren't those two specific players, I would probably be sheeping it to hell.  If you had said Random Player X wouldn't move off Random Player Y like that, you nailed it.  

 

But this isn't vacuum mafia, and I know Cory very well.

Considering what happened during The Matrix and everything that shook out and the grief that was caused.

 

Do you think I'm capable of subjecting her to the same or an even higher level of emotional manipulation as a wolf? Because if I was a wolf, that's what I would have done. The strong wolfread, the effort to actually get her to village read me by the end of the day, the push on her to get more involved... the huge focus I put on her slot all day phase long.

 

You know damn well that's something I couldn't do. Obviously I take these games seriously, but I couldn't pull the trigger on a strategy like that.

I am known to play mindgames with certain people now and then but there are lines I will not cross as a wolf.

 

But it's different when you're a villager and you know nothing.

What?  You had Sili as above null when you made that list, and I had Sili as a townie for a good bit.  I had BFG pretty much exactly where you did.

 

Literally the only thing we disagreed on was my townreading of Zalanna, and I fail to see how that's a bad sign with what we now know.

I think BFG/Seph/WiFi contains at least 2 wolves.

 

And I don't think Kat is a wolf with Seph so if Seph's a wolf and Wifi does turn out to be a villager I have this terrible feeling #3 could be potentially be Hallia.

 

I hope I am proven wrong.

Meant to reply to this.  I'll be honest - there's a part of me that wants to believe you.  Like, a legitimately large part, because you're a pretty decent dude.  But I remember I basically wrote you off in Matrix because you basically trashed somebody and then deleted the posts saying "it's not worth it" (and made a reference to me), thinking "Nah, Cory wouldn't angleshoot the deletion to sell his frustrating, and he wouldn't be so pissed off he went berserk if he's mafia, so he has to be town and trying to remain okay".

 

Which isn't to say that's necessarily the same thing, but you have to get that I can't 100% buy this as the gospel.

Also I'm thinking that's exactly what I would do in that situation and it makes me think others could, too.  :unsure:  Please don't take that as an insult on you as a person.

I did indeed do something like that once, and what happened changed my game permanently from then on

 

Would I do again with her, driving it myself? Absolutely never

God I wish I read through Zander's reads when I was in the same headspace as I am now

 

His reads actually look pretty solid around the time we started dumbly getting into it
