Ok, I thought maybe you had some other experience off-site or something.  In TUS John was a wolf, like you and everybody else.  In Ragnarok he was a villager, and you were a wolf hydra with Lenny and if my memory from ISOing it in WoW is at all accurate you were highly inactive in that game and your partner mostly carried the slot.

 

Low volume wolf playing in an unfamiliar environment a year ago, I'm kind of surprised that you'd remember any meta at all.

 

Like I was a wolf in my first VS game and I couldn't even tell you who half of the roster was let alone recall meta on them.

 

Was there something special about John in Ragnarok that made him really stand out to you?

He was the one who pushed for me/Lenny's lynch and I remember fairly well that he was scum hunting. I also remember his posts from when I replaced in for him during God vs Demons. He's someone I would like to be town with and I'm not getting that here. Also hi Shad!

Read up through the posts today and I'm not a fan of Celeste's intro and am leaving my vote there for now. Also still not feeling better about Sili because he isn't being pushy like usual, and he also hasn't gone back in the thread to prove his theories or correct them.

I'm feeling better about Len (his involvement and pointed questions), Hally is starting to read like town!Hally, starting to get good vibes about Shad, and probably weirdly, I still feel like this is more town!dice than scum!dice. His aggressive responses, stubborn refusal to vote someone he thinks has a possible shred of being town, and voting someone that there's (likely) no support for just feel like town!dice. I won't be voting him today.

I'm finding it difficult to separate noob from scummy for Wifi and PBF both.

 

@ AJ - Yeah, I have that problem a lot. Kat is the slightest of town read for me atm, but I'm really waiting until the weekend is over to judge her slot.

@ Shad - The 'tone reading' comment wasn't supposed to be a question. I don't feel I am harping on it?

@Balrog - Like I said, it's the lower key attitude that's worrisome with Z. Often indicative of scum in a player that is usually crazy happy to hunt 'wilves' as he would say.

@Wifi - What do you think of the people you have played with? What do you think of the interactions on thread so far? Where are you leaning right now in terms of your vote?

Also, I'm a college Librarian/Instructor, so I when I'm not teaching, I'm often on the computer doing research.

I agree with Shad about wanting to see Z flip before worrying too much about Dice.

 

I don't like that he's unwilling to evaluate for personal reasons but I don't think it's out of the norm for him.

How can you, on one hand, criticise SiRReN for asking if town should give Zander's sub a chance to catch up and post saying if she thought Zander was scum she shouldn't give his sub a chance (It actually makes perfect sense if you think there was an OoT reason for him acting oddly, his replacement might fair way better) but then, on the other hand argue that people

This feels super hypocritical to be arguing with two different people that its wrong to both consider the possibility of him being town and wrong to not consider it.

It's also not inactivity from you or your predecessor. Zander was attacking at random and felt more like he was looking to pick a fight with me rather than being genuinely suspicious of my posts. I think my progression on SiRReN was pretty good, fwiw. I town read her and it wasn't long before others were as well.

 

I also think your vote on John wasn't great and thus far haven't seen anything from you to make me reconsider.

I'm not criticizing your play in that game Penneh, just stating why it seemed odd to me that you would claim meta on him.  If he was the player most focused on lynching your slot then eh, fair enough.  I still find it a bit surprising that you'd remember given how little I remember about off-site wolf games.

Celeste, what do you think of players other than John?  Like, I get that you aren't reading him town atm, but did literally no one else stand out to you?  Is someone you have only played with once or twice your strongest read?  How are you reading Sili?  Shad? dice?

Sili- null, his posts seem fairly neutral imo. I want to see more from him.

Shad - town, he's scum hunting and analyzing like usual but I still have yet to see scum shad

Dice - flip floppy, he's a little more head strong than usual and that's throwing me off.

Kat - slight town and I'm seeing her town range

I am just used to him always being happy, usually his lololols are part of that.  I know he uses them sometimes as scum too, but the overall lack of happy in this game, coupled with his weird questions and lack of focus, reads more like being disappointed in his role. Does that make more sense?
