I have only had 3 film experiences that have left me changed as a person. That movie and special. Kingdom of Heaven, Whiplash, and Zootopia were that special that I was blown away. All had takeaways that stick with you.

Goon is actually an extroadinary piece of filmaking in a fun throwaway movie shell. To achieve a movie with tension and power without making anyone out to be a villian. Only film to ever succeed in that I have seen.

I preferred Wreck-It-Ralph which people dont talk about enough. Hitting deep on the humanity and ability to change your life.
