I recall you saying that several things I've done have pinged you. I don't remember you ever making a case against me.

I remember you dropping your vote on me because you weren't getting support. I don't remember you ever trying to get said support.

 

I remember you trying to compare my play here to GnD N0 and to Supernatural. I'm curious if that has garnered anything for you, but that sample size is so small that I don't think any results you get will matter much.

 

I remember you saying that my AtE didn't sway your opinion of me. I'm surprised my activity in solving the game hasn't.

 

Besides stuff focused on me, you have been active and prodding questions and seem to be working on solving the game yourself, which is why I have you as town. I'm just suspicious of your lack of explaining why you have me as scum. What are these "multiple pings" you mentioned earlier?

 

Red is pretty out of tune with what I've said about you in this game.

 

 

 

 

I would think my support for lynching Thane would clear me as his teammate, should he flip scum. Should there be any doubt, you can mislynch me tomorrow.

mmmm..... [v]Eldrick[/v]. This is a bit much for me to swallow. Your whole team bussed each other last game. I don't know that you saying this tells us squat about Thane's alignment if you flip scum, but I'm not buying that it's an honest thought.

Massive ping on re-read. This was post #22 in the game, from the guy who was recently cool as town with casting an intro post 4th vote on Zander without even reading his content?

 

The problem with Eldrick's calling this out is that it hadn't actually happened yet, similar iirc to him voting Sooh for the possibility that she would sit on her joke vote until EoD. The only time I saw someone pull a "this hasn't actually happened but it might happen later and it would be scummy so we should worry about this player" card was in TUS. (Either Hallia or someone pushing Hallia, don't recall which. Every player was scum in that game.)

 

I still don't really get Eldrick's reasoning when I started asking him about the first instance. He insisted he found me null but still drew attention to it.

 

Hally's agreeing with me felt like it could be pocketing (I said as much at the time). Then she voted the person that was already gaining suspicion, without a reason. When asked for why she voted Lily, her only response has been Lily's unvote. She has mentioned it twice, but it can't be a valid reason as it happened after she voted.

If you ignore the "for her gameplay" part, which is intensely vague but still out there. Lily's engaging her on the matter, which I rather like. I agree that Hallia isn't looking so hot right now, think it's rather odd that you're hopping onto her without seeing where the conversation goes when your previous vote was on Lily.

 

 

 

 

Your activity level is not alignment indicative.  You are high volume scum.  No, I didn't do a post-by-post ISO and plug it all together.  No, I didn't reread your GnD and Supernatural games to gain a better understanding of you.  Don't hold your breath waiting for the latter, because it makes this game entirely too stressful for me when I'd rather just have fun and accept that I won't have the most informed reads possible.  The Shad who invests 4-5 hours per RL day into this game retired at the end of Warcraft.

 

I have another 72 hours to figure out if you are somehow town in this game.  I think you are a wolf.  If you aren't, you can start by explaining why the posts in spoiler do not constitute explanations.

I would like Shad to respond to Eldrick's case. He was my strongest town read, but now I'm not so sure.

He says I didn't put up much of a fight to get him lynched D1.  That's true.  He ignores my stated reasons and doesn't explain what makes my willingness to consider alternatives scummy.

 

He defends himself against some of my issues with him and then calls me scummy for raising them, but doesn't explain what's scummy about them.

 

He doesn't like that I'm not accepting his AtE as necessarily town.  That is in and of itself a good reason to not accept his AtE as necessarily town.

 

And it's entirely irrelevant that in GnD people suggested lynching Zander before the game started, because town!Eldrick was totally cool with the idea.  I struggle to accept that a player who's excessively apathetic towards who gets lynched at the start of one game is highly sensitive to it in another.

I see where you're coming from on this point. Scum have AtEs too. It rang true to me, but I can see where it might not to someone else.

I just finished ISOing Shad and I can see where he gets his pov. I don't agree with everything, by any means, but I can see a logical thought progression there. He's reading very town to me. 

 

 

As for Eld, I have a hard time believing that anyone would feel good about a win based on a manipulation. So, I'm reading him as town. (That's not the only reason.) But expecting people to automatically view you as town over the AtE is unrealistic too. 

 

I need to do some more ISOs. I don't have anyone listed as scum atp.

I didn't recall having any real interaction with Turin this game, so I ISOed him. From what I remember in the past, Turin is a good player who can hide well as mafia. So, let's interact, shall we, Turin?

Oh, the ISO was pretty inconclusive. I can see the potential for either alignment in Turin's posts. One thing bothered me, though. Let me go get it.

My current reads/thoughts

 

1. Thane: mafia - I think I have go into it already. Slip early. odd disconnect (IMO) between his posts re: Lily and his vote. Attitude is more of irked mafia than frustrated town (again IMO)

2. Shad: null > town- not as active as I might like. May be frustration from computer, I dunno. Still have him as more middle of pack. 

3. Sooh: null/mixed - I have some concern due to some of Thane connection. also it makes me a bit nervous when people actually follow me. But I believe more likely town than not.

4. Hallia: null>town - 

5. Zander: null to mafia - Defense of Thane without defense feels weird. A complete list of his reads might help alleviate fears.

6. Eldrick : null to town - 

7. Lily: mafia - cross interactions with Thane weird. Plus some of the things she has said make little sense to me. I may take a closer look if I get a chance today. Second choice behind Thane at this point. 

8. Taborline: null > town - Nothing that pings but it is time to get more involved. 

9. Turin: TTtT

 

 

I admit that most of the list is remaining more null because I have been more looking at Thane / Lily / Eld / Zander

 

This is Turin's most recent read's list. I don't like all the null. His only mafia reads are Thane (town) and me (cop confirmed town, if you believe her). And nobody is reading town to him at all. I'd like to see a more decisive list this time.

Currently I am rethinking my position. As I said earlier I am not going to cross anyone off for a green cop read. First I have my doubts there is a cop. Second if there is a cop then IMO there is most likely a GF. I am considering How much weight to give the claim atp.

 

Tab basically hadn't done anything to make me think she was mafia. That dead town zander was reading her town gives me hope I am right on that read.

 

Something about the claim itself that was bothering me was that Hallia was going to get some pressure for her swap (after the fact it turned out) and you were certainly in the lynch pool for today. The early (perhaps preemptive) claim today makes reasonable sense from a mafia standpoint. It most likely buys you both today which guarantees a townie MISLYNCH and makes tomorrow lylo so dangerous to lynch then as well.

 

Normally I would say don't cc to the cop but in this situation it might be worth it. Cause if hallia is mafia faking cop then Lily is nearly certain to be her partner.

 

 

If by chance hallia us legit then GF is still an obvious possibility but then I think I'm looking more at Eldrick and possibly Shad as a deep wolf.

2. Shad – Overall, his posts are prodding and poking at people. Asks lots of questions. Good townie feel.
3. Sooh – liking her posts so far. She seems to be thinking and honestly scum hunting
4. Hallia – Uncountered cop

6. Eldrick – His meltdown felt like frustrated townie to me. Town
7. Lily – utterly townie
8. Taborline – Going off Zander’s opinion of her meta. Town lean
9. Turin – Not sure yet. He’s very focused on Thane. Tunneling may be his style. 

 

I don't really have anybody that I think might be scum today and that's why I'm ISOing and prodding around. I wish Tab would engage more. I need to see more of her interacting with others. 

 

I also agree that the real cop should counter, if there is one. I realize that makes me the lynch for today, but I don't mind dying to help town. Hallia would go down tomorrow.
