Thats some odd phrasing. The second part, whatever, shes your town read I get that. But nothing dangerous... those arnt the words I would use as a townie, defending my town read.

Either Wish is town who reads her well and we should take her opinion pretty seriously here, or Wish is scum buddying the hell out of a town. Scum!Wish defending scum!Celeste to the extent that she has thus far would be pretty counterproductive. It banks on no one ISOing previous games to verify her statements. It banks on someone like me stepping in and putting on the breaks, because a generic town lynches Wish as soon as Celeste flips scum, and Celeste is certainly on the table today.

That seems like a poor decision until we know Wish's alignment. Like yeah, once you have Wishs alignment, do what you want, but until then im not gonna stop being suspect of Celeste.

I'm feeling comfortable with my read on her because that's usually how I play games when we're together. I read her as town almost with complete accuracy. You can ask Laine/Cass.

If she turns out to be scum, all I can say is that I messed up. But atm, there's no reason why I should doubt my read on her.

What's your read on Pizza if you take out his distance from Zander? My take on it is he's giving Zander space to do his thing without tilting him into endless circles on D1, which is a good approach IMO.

I think Pizza has been pretty vocal about figuring out who he can trust as town. He's been open in this regard and it comes off more towny than most players in this game. I need to refresh my memory on what he's been doing on the other end of the spectrum, because I don't remember much scum hunting but until I ISO him later that's not really a fair statement.

Im sorry, but I will never accept TWTBAW. If thats their best defense, if thats the best reason not to lynch them, then its not stopping me.

So I found my solution to deal with my Laine misunderstanding last night.

Accept it and if at any point I learn she is lying to me, go full Eldrick on her.

I recognize that reading people for what others say about them isn't something a lot of players are going to be comfortable with, but how would knowing Wish's alignment reshape this picture in your opinion?

Alright I think I got that backwards. I thought you were implying that since Celeste was probably town, Wish was town as well, rather than saying you think Wish is town so Celeste is probably town

I need to take off for a while, but I'm caught up and this game isn't crazy fast so I should be able to stay caught up, and that means I can actually ISO a lot of you hopefully. I don't feel nearly as confident about my town reads as I want to. :\

She doesn't have anything in her favor and several people are putting her in the POE. She also seems to be struggling really hard today.

That can be a struggling wolf or it can be a struggling villager. I'd say she's more annoyed than panicky, and I want to give her time, because time will resolve a lot of questions on her.

A lynch is permanent. She isn't going to disappear tomorrow. She'll have to earn her townie wings then.

If Wish is town I think her read on Celeste should be trusted.

If Wish is scum I think she's way more likely to be buddying town than defending a scum mate, based on Wish's behavior and the situation surrounding Celeste.

So I think Celeste is probably town.
