I actually fought with myself on that. I wanted to put her lower but without having my nulls sorted I didn't want to put her so far down. I'm not sure I have a SCUM lean on her, but I barely have a town lean. She has the potential to fall lower once I go back and read her stuff. I just remember a lot of work coming from her but not a lot of what I would consider useful.

 

 

 

Alanna....this is starting worry me about you cause it really seems like fence sitting/leaving yourself an out kinda....

She had focused on Cass a bit earlier, demonstrated distrust. I had this post saved in the top of my notepad to see how she'd follow through:

 

Personally, I think her posts are showing a lot of effort, but a lot of the questions and points she's making are trivial and overworked and doing nothing for me.

My issue Laine, is I havnt deserved that spot and I am wary of people who townread me for doing nothing. See, I try to ingratiate myself to Cory all the time in games because I know if he I have him thinking im town, he will go to bat for me against all odds. I do this regardless of alignment. One of the ways I do this is by encouraging his ego and townreading him almost every game.

 

So I get wary when people hard town read me for things I dont see as towny. For doing nothing. It gives me the willies, like they just want me on their side.

I see what you're saying, just just accept the damn town read and get over it.

 

Additionally, what do I gain by trying to get you on my side? I could just as easily top town read Zander or Pizza and buddy them, or even a different player who I think will have a lot of sway with the town. But why, if were going under the assumption that I'm doing this to gain your favor, would I choose you?

 

 

 

This is actually a solid observation.  I dont know if its exactly alignment indicative but still a good point.

Ok so seriously I got caught up yesterday doing other stuff and I don't really have a good excuse so just ding me for ignoring the game if you want, it's fair.

 

BUT! I think I can make it up to everyone.

Not only have I just reread the entire thread cover to cover.

So I'm all caught up. I'm going to respond to a few things I have open in other tabs and then I think I'll drop a vote. Maybe.

I'll have to look through the notes I just took while reading the thread.

 

So I flubbed a little bit but going forward I think I shall be a force to be reckoned with in this game!

I find that Zander posts as he catches up. Look at the time stamp / date of the posts he's quoting.

 

You can see he's a couple hundred posts behind, he's not even reading what we're saying right now.

Less jokingly, I find it positive that in general Pizza works to look past what can be pushed as crazy tinfoil to a level of understanding that he then shares with the thread.

I've already said that w/w is unlikely. Now, if one of you flips wolf, the other is likely town. If one of you flips town, the other could be town OR wolf. Why the hell would you just lynch that other person? That's called "setting up lynches" based on someones alignment and is generally false  unless you're using other information as well to support your conclusion.

Lol'd - Frustrated Laine sounds like frustrated Laine.

 

This (and her more recent catchups where she's asking questions, lol'ing at observations etc/the whole chain of posts leading up to here) strikes me as much more likely to come from TownAlanna than her earlier posts. The clarity with which she explains the logic here and the direct manner she'd been dealing with Lenlo in is faultless imo, and the bold is definitely +ev, especially so because of the last sentence.

 

Most of the post could come from either alignment, but she doesn't use her frustration or Lenlo's confusion as an excuse to push suspicion onto him, she simply explains.

I know you do that Z, but this time when calling it out it felt defensive, rather than offensive. When you call people out for doing scummy things you go at them. Your are taking what feels off and going on the offensive with it. That instance though felt more defensive in nature and was off to me.

I like Lenlo. One instance does not ZanderScum make, but FWIW I think this is the ultimate key to telling if he's scum or town.

I must have seen it, but I had essentially zero reaction to it. Didn't even register.

 

I have you as a villager for mainly tone reasons and you voted for someone I have a blank on why they're a townie, and generic indicators they may have randed scum. But nothing solid.

 

Celeste gives me the distinct impression I can't read her at all, far too closed. She might be an all game long project.

 

I doubt very much I could possibly read her well today.

You seem offended that people are town reading you. But the point is that you're here and you're interacting with people and in real time. I guess I can say that you seem to be playing very relaxed as opposed to how you seemed in Matrix, though Zander /was/ attacking you the whole start of the game. lol

I need to take off for a while, but I'm caught up and this game isn't crazy fast so I should be able to stay caught up, and that means I can actually ISO a lot of you hopefully.  I don't feel nearly as confident about my town reads as I want to.  :\

 

Zander, you've been commenting on everyone a fair bit.  Have you recently summarized your thoughts along with a read list?  If not, could you do so by this evening?

I would actually say Lenlo (I originally just wrote Lenlove? wtf) a little more likely to be town than Shad, due to his willingness to give Shad a town lean like that.
