I get where you're coming from with your thinking, Laine (as I'm told you prefer to be called by, sez Sooh)

 

I can give you my reactions to John Snow's posts as I re-read them.

 

 

 

 

My impression is that he wants to get this game started and is clearly very uncomfortable (in a good way) with the lack of content and lack of seriousness or anything to sink his teeth into so far, which is a feeling that is not often faked by scum in my experience, and a feeling commonly felt by certain personalities such as my own particularly when a day 1 hasn't gotten really rolling yet. That feeling is a large part of why John Snow is a townie for me.

 

Next, although generically, the vote with someone he was just voting for, without really clearing that person, would be suspicious to me, the specific situation rolls differently down that continental divide and ends up in a different ocean for me (pardon the elaborate metaphor).

 

This doesn't feel like that in this circumstance. In that circumstance Lenlo was basically the only other active person around, and he clearly wants to break out of the doldrums of day one. This is an active player uncomfortable with inactivity, lack of thread presence and discussion, and wants to get the ball rolling.

Is John Snow a lock to be town? No. But I don't agree with the conclusions you've reached, Laine, on John, and I am pretty solid on that stance unless something substantial changes things.

 

I think your thought process on him is fair enough, I just have specific reasons why I don't think it leans that way. I think my findings on John are more solid than your points against.

 

Red   as I stated to AJ JS has had this sort of start to every game i can think of him in since he came back   what?? 6mths ago? In fact they feel so similar i think they are planned.

 

Blue   Snow can be active but he can also suddenly disappear for days. Think your jumping to some conclusions off a too limited sample.

 

Johns start bugs me. It gives me bad vibes but it does that every game he does it. theres just something about it. If I had to vote right now it would be him but its all just a feel no reasons.

 

 

I can discount the reasons you're giving for his non-activity, based on his activity elsewhere on the forum.

 

So no, I was thorough. He's avoiding the game and not hunting because he's choosing to, not because of RL.

No its not. A game lasts what? a couple weeks? a SG role lasts YEARS and has OTHER PEOPLE relying on you.

Ok so I'm fixing my sleep schedule today since it's been awful lately.

I slept about 4 hours this morning from 7 to 11 and I'm staying up the rest of the day like normal and planning to crash in...2-4 hours.

I don't have the energy to read through the thread right now but it's the first thing I'll do next time I wake up.

Give me somewhere between 6 and 14 hours depending on when and how long I stay asleep.
