Im trying to learn all these things I never bothered to before, so actually thinking about roles is hard ive discovered.

Let me tell you a trick with modding, the more vanilla you make it the better your games will run. ;)

 

Some people get caught up in these intricate roles and mechanics but honestly just plot a cop and doc for town and godfather or roleblocker for scum with the rest being vanilla and goons and you have a solid game. You really can't ruin a classic setup like that.
