I feel like Snow is slipping through the cracks here. I just read over his posts again from a few pages back. His reason for scum reading you is so, so bad and hasn't developed one bit and suddenly he's all about lynching Tab too? That's sketchy.

Then again Tab has still done nothing to save herself. We still have a few hours yet and she is apparently trying to get caught up again so I'm willing at least to wait it out and see what she say. It's never a bad idea to get someone on record one last time in the event she does get lynched today

Ok yeah - the difference is kind of alarming if you look at the two side by side. From Matrix she had about as many content laden posts in one Day then she's had for the entirety of this game so far but with none of the depth

Yep. Man very OOC for her especially since shes been progressing each game she was Town in.  I'm not seeing ANY of that here,  Like I said its the deer in the headlight look of not really knowing how to play as a different alignment.

Because the first one you posted bothered me a little.  I didn't expect you to be 100% into this game, but it still came off more ho-hum than I anticipated.  It made me wonder if you randed scum again.  If Snow had pointed to that one, I would have asked why, and if he had coughed up a reason similar to mine, I would have felt better about his vote even if I didn't find it vote-worthy myself.  He didn't, so I'm accepting his vote at the weaker face value reason that he doesn't like you repeatedly claiming to be town.  (Something that, as far as I can recall, you have done in every game you have ever played.)

I understand NotBob being a 'closed' player.  What gave you the impression that this applied to Nolder at the time?

His delayed and substance-free start. Last game I looked at where he was town, he dove right in and began playing with everyone. In this one, his beginning matched his closed off scum game style.

 

Now, my accusation prompted activity from him, and after that engagement ended since it was essentially a sophisticated "nuh uh" from him, he made some observations on others.

 

That's different, and closer to what I want from him if he's a townie, but the bar is higher than what I've seen.

 

Oh, Pizza, my comment above on lurking, I definitely understand your perspective. And if someone straight up lies, like excusing an absence as they didn't have computer access while they were clearly active elsewhere, it's a good catch. I just don't think it indicates much of anything in the short term. Over the course of multiple days/phases, yeah, and there are a few players here I've learned to read by their lack of substantive thoughts when given more than ample time to form them.

If my concern about Nolder is a gallon bucket of water, my dismissal of the suggestion he was just sleeping because I saw a public post elsewhere in the interim, is about a thimble full.

 

The comment was merely to suggest that such a defense, (made by a player not named Nolder, mind) is not valid. Had very little to do with my suspicions, but it didn't help matters. It was null to mildly scummy, whereas his play to date at the time was a bucket of scum.

 

His argument method with me afterward is about three buckets of scum.

 

I'm dismayed he isn't more of a candidate but I can't control how people feel. So, I'm not going to tilt at a windmill all day long, time is wasting, and if he's somehow a townie despite his behavior, I'm not just wasting my time, I'm counterproductive.

 

 

The exact opposite of the bold is the truth.  Last game NotBob was Town was Diablo.  He popped in a couple hours before DL voted me saying he didnt even read anything,  And only posted a few times that Day.  I feel like you should know this if you looked back at the game Pizza.

 

What Scum game where you looking at of NotBobs to get his "closed off scum" style.  The game I played with him and he was scum was the exact opposite of that which is how I feel he's playing more like here.

 

 

Pizza was responding to my questions about Nolder, not NotBob, but I think 'closed off' is a pretty accurate description of NB's play in general.  He says what he wants when he wants, doesn't ask many questions or offer detailed explanations of his reads.  When he feels pretty strongly that someone is scum though, he's not shy about saying it.

 

If I had to rate him on a scale of disinterested to engaged, it would go Diablo (town), Alien (scum), Star Wars (town), so I don't want to read too terribly much into how he approaches the game, though my gut tells me scum!NB would be a bit more involved at this point.  I mainly feel good about him because I can see the comments he has made thus far stemming from a town state of mind, but it's a weak read.

tbf he may prolly have mentioned other stuff but hes tunneled you pretty Zander like thus far.  Anyone who has more experience can touch on if this is a common thing for Nol and if so which alignment its indicative of but feeeeeeeling pretty damn sure he's a howling wolf atp.
