Pral, can you explain why you didn't like my reads on Dice or Clov?

It was completely opposite to what Ii was seeing. Yeah, we differ on reads but having a such vastly different read bothered me at the time.

From memory Thane agreed with me on Clov so why not mention it there as well?

Okay. But she claimed I was her Day 1 peek. Does that make any difference?

Officially off my WTL list are you and dice, BFG.

Upon reread, i'd put a careful town on Clov, Tress, Yates.

Notbob and Pral are the ones i'm feeling less good about.

And now that you mention Tabor... i actually forgot she was in this game untill you mentioned her. (i check mail notifications while typing so i don't miss anything). I don't know where to put her. I was convinced she was wolf last game we played in, she turned out to be town. I don't feel that great about her slot seeing she vanished from my memory.....

@Pral: different opinions are good imo. Perhaps wake some people up, if they want to. Fresh views on other players should be taken into account

And your 2 suspicions are 2 of the bottom 3/4 anyway?

1: It's not that i object to it... It's more that i don't try to figure out mechanics, or other mafia things with abbrevations if i need to look it up. It looks like hyroglyphs to me, and, even if i read it, it confuses me. Really, i needed to look up what SHC actually means after having read it a few times. So i put it aside and try to trust my feelings on people more. Though that's not really a guarantee anymore i'm afraid.

2: the only thing changing between the middle and lower reads (if you want to put it like that), is the level of suspicion on them. Less suspicious of the top (Clov etc), more suspicious of the others.

3: yes i can.

oh wait... you wanted more? ok. I remember that i have no bad feelings about her gameplay so far. I don't think i recall a game where we played in together and she was wolf, but as i said before, every game needs to be treated seperately imo. Still watching her, but feeling worse about others.

I really went like this on a couple of posts from them

Some of the things they've said and done make sense. Others have me :huh: , not knowing what to make of it. They leave a kinda bad aftertaste. (i got up 16 hours ago and i can't manage to pull quotes now, sorry about that)

Notbob's vote on Bender (though excellently placed in hindsight) kinda came out of nowhere. He even said he didn't read the thread. Now, shenanigan or not, i find things like that strange. The comment i read about that "just being Notbob"... meh... Him following Clov on the competing train, which in this case is me, seems too easy. Also, as far as i can tell, no real backstory behind it. #paranoia vote on Zan tactics? dunno.

Pral has been unable to get me to follow his line of thought. I appreciate his insight in games quite a lot, because he is quite a good player imo. There's something missing here. The fire of #townPral it seems. Admitted, he has had a bit of a rough deal RL, but Iwould have expected him to round up at least one wolf by now.

I am here - just reading other threads about the mechanics of SHC, but I get it now. Maniacally, I am still wondering about Yates and how he could possibly be masterminding things, but that's my tinfoil hat (which has now also lengthened to being a tinfoil cape).

So Clov, Pral, Thane, Notbob, Tress, Yates.

My only pings on Thane are a bit hypocritical because I feel the same way about being confused a lot of the time - a mini ISO -

A lot of his first posts are fluff, or comments on things from the last game (like how he can't read Dice based on that game). D1's first suspicions are that he's most concerned with Lenlo and Clov because they "bug" him. Then more fluff, then asks Yates about Bender because he doesn't trust his read on them since last time. Then asks Yates again about who his towniest town are. Comes to voting time, still wavering between Len and Clov, though says in thread that he doesn't trust Bender, but votes Lenlo, tying him with Bender and allowing Bender to come in and rescue themselves. D2 is absent, and D3 starts off emotionally, again more talking about being confused last time (which is fair enough!).

Basically it's a bad looking vote on D1, and a lot of absolving yourself through not knowing what's going on. However, Bender's well-timed self preservation vote on D1

Pral, I find confusing - your reads list on D2 doesn't look good, your top town having flipped scum and vice versa - you lean town for Clov but then vote Clov, indeed saying it would be better to lynch him over Zander. Today, you are leaning on Tress/Notbob as possibly being scum, but I'm not seeing your reasons at all.

I would say Tress -> Notbob, in that order.

The problem I have with notbob is that he jumped in way too quickly when you claimed, without even a doubt that you could be lying. Similar with Tress - she was very very sure you are doing a gambit but had no doubt about your alignment. I don't see how it wasn't. Yates was hard claiming a guilty on Zander (or presenting that he had one, given that he said it was between Zander and me....and specifically said that it should be Zander who should be lynched). Either you say he's outright lying, in which case you should have lynched him, or you sheep the peek.

Also, I'm not sure you think that's forced anyways. Tress was claiming an innocent on Yates. If she's telling the truth, it means she's the cop and knows he's town - even if she thought his case on Zander was awful, why would she vote her peek over an unknown? If she's lying, she destroys cover by saying "Oh, I'll lynch the person I'm claiming to know is town over the person I'm claiming not to know"
