Shad/Sooh - If I am seer, they are my N0 town peek.

AJ - Pretty strong town vibe here - I know he's capable of fooling me, but I doubt he is at this moment.  

 

Dice - probably town. Dice doesn't fool me often so I should be more certain as the game goes on.

Clov - Town lean with reservations solely because he is very tricksy.  Not willing to consider lynching D1. Probably not D2.  After that, we'll see.

Thane - Doing some poking and prodding, offering opinions, comes across as relaxed.  Liking him for town at the moment.

BFG - Not a lot of posts yet but she seems to be jumping in and offering opinions, asking questions, being game-solvey.  Probably town here also.

 

Yates - Is not to be trusted without a town peek. The back and forth with Bender is intriguing and I want to try to make sense of this later, but there's just not enough time before work.

Bender - My eyes glaze over when reading the LOLOLOLOLs  Will look at them harder tomorrow.

Notbob - absent.  NotBob, where are you?

 

Lenlo - Most uncomfortable with him right now... It might be because the people he's pushing are people I think are likely town.  I haven't seen the NewLenlo as mafia yet since I um... haven't read the Matrix game ... so I don't know.  Will likely vote here.  

 

Gotta run to work - hopefully I'll have time and a steady data network connection so I can keep current today, deadline is shortly after I get home from work.

but I'm only really on Page 15 of notes. My feelings about Clov and Yates stem mainly from Clov's volunteering of that information to AJ about why AJ might suspect him, instead of pushing AJ for more than just vibes, and Yates you don't seem to be as pushy as usual yet, if that makes sense.

I've only played with him twice, and both times he was scum. This time feels different, which gives me very good vibes.

Lenlo's push on Clov and Bender's push on Yates were both flawed.  The fact that Clov/Yates were able to refute them doesn't say anything about Clov or Yates' alignment.  I didn't fully wrap my head around Bender vs Yates but got a lot of v/v vibes from it on first read, and I think a lot of the conflict came out of interpreting the same data differently.  It's something I doubt I'll have time to look at again before deadline.

 

Lenlo's push on Clov was straight-up factually bogus in bold, painful ways.  My gut reaction in hydra QT (which has been a monologue so far) was to call it twtbaw, mainly because I felt he paid slightly more attention as a wolf in Matrix.  I thought town!Lenlo might be a little overzealous and not stop to consider what he was saying.  I've since started to remember stuff like scum reading Rack and null reading Thane while throwing them in his town and scum piles respectively in Matrix, and I think the whole failure to pay attention thing does not deserve any sort of pass.

 

Maybe the biggest issue with Lenlo's go at Clov is that he never really went back to reassess it.  His vote is still there and he's said he's fine with that.  I can see scum making a bad aggro move early on or town fishing for reactions to evaluate later, but I struggle to accept that Lenlo continues to believe, right now, that the case he built against Clov at that time had a leg to stand on.  (Even if Clov is mafia.)  His points were massively out of context--stuff like calling out Clov for being overly defensive when Clov was responding to a direct question made one post above him. And his thought process was contradictory on the surface.  If I find the time I'll go back and dissect it to show you exactly where I'm coming from, but I have a long day ahead of me and Ollie doesn't go to bed until after DL.  My last comment in hydra QT was that in the absence of any meta I would [v]Lenlo[/v] right now, and I think I'll roll with that.

 

I peeked Dice.  Thane strongest town atm.  Feeling good about AJ and BFG.

 

Am I sheeping AJ a little?  Yeah maybe.

 

 

I've already said that parts of that case weren't great and I just used them to get Clov to react Shad. That daid, he is still my best option for today.

 

I would like you to go back and dissect it. More posts is more to read.

She seemed pretty comfortable in the thread early on.  As I suggested to Shad, I think newer players would feel more pressure coming into the game as mafia than town - and she's never played before.

My only concern with this line of logic is that a lot of it would have to do with the comfort level you have with your hydra half. I know those two communicate on Skype. So I'm not going to discount the very real likelihood they are using it to chat. And as a new player I can absolutely see that as comforting - especially if my other half is on Skype but not posting in thread at the time.

 

Overall, I would say it's null.

 

I'm more concerned with your assessment of Zander's play. He has already demonstrated the ability to use meta to his advantage as well as to switch up his game. So I guess I'm not as quick to assign any value to an observation based on "it's slightly different from what he has done in the past" argument. I'm less concerned with changes he can make than changes in his game he can't [or isn't likely to]. And so far I see him stepping outside of normal Zander thought processes in a way that does not come across as Towny or a positive progression in his game.

It's the later. But the former works, too. It's not like I feel as though you or Clov need lessons on how to provide proper seer cover at this point in your mafia careers...

My vote stays [on Zander] at this point. He has done nothing that screams town zander at me and has done some stuff thats more indepth then i associate with him. yet it doesnt feel like he is really game solving.
