How is it a contradiction that I haven't talked about Pral before and now vote him because he has become suspicious to me?

Who said anything about it being a contradiction?

The timing of that vote was suspect.

Trending down, kiddo.

Pral can touch on some reasoning on these please? especially the bottom thanks man!!!

Cory - I touched upon it in my previous post

Sooh - I talked about it earlier in the day. Her posts look a bit forced in places and as she admitted, she has been going after easy lynches. I get a feeling that she is trying to play safe

Rack - The only two thing I remember him doing is the whole Lenlo conversation with you and then voting you/unvoting you. Lot of fluff posts. I have a feeling there is a wolf between you or rack. DOn't think you both are w/w

If not you, I would go for sooh/rack today.

General thought: Pral/Rack/Sooh w/w/w super unlikely.

is there a combo of the 3 that you feel could be w/w????

Any two of them would not be out of the question.

Yeah. But this is from your scum game explaining how Town Dice works.

Let's talk about how to read dice. I've played ~14 games with him and in the course of those games read several of his older wolf games. This ish has worked for me quite reliably. Maybe it'll help you.

Content-wise, dice's reads are more complex as a villager. He comes up with wolf reads backed by original reasoning that call attention to him. As a wolf, he posts reads, but they're pretty basic stuff and he tends to miss or ignore significant things. On occasion he has trouble judging how confident he should be in his reads.

Tonally, dice tends to sound looser as a villager. There's an emotional component to his reactions that is often missing as a wolf. He comes across as more committed to his reads. When he's wolfing, he may try posting a bit of fluff here and there, usually early in a game, but mostly he comes across as grimly determined to fulfill his role.

He has a volume tell. He's aware of it and might conceivably try to address it in the short term when he's wolfing, but still, it's there. This would already be his highest posting wolf game of all time.

We're left with a situation in which he's either playing his best wolf game ever, by some distance, or he's a villager. Obviously someone who has played 85 long games is more likely to be a villager than to have finally learned how to post like his villager self on his 14th try as a wolf.

Here's a summary in gif form for people who dislike words:

When dice is a villager, he posts like this:

When dice is a wolf, he posts like this:

Yates sometimes I'm kind of amazed you are able to get your pants on every morning

... Are you able to get your pants on every morning?

Is this why you don't like to wear pants?

FWIW I remember a game where Pral was a wolf (Firefly) with Tommy/Leelou/Verbal and his reads list on d1 had all three in his bottom four

Sometimes he's a bussy soab, it's not out of his range

At least I'm pretty sure he did, let me go find that

I was wrong but only a little wrong

He lists 2 of his 3 scummates in his 4-player wolf list

The other in his "nulls / slight scums"

I do understand one part of what Shad is saying I think though

But I don't Pral expects people to push his reads, so who he suspects is probably inconsequential to the gameflow so if he were a wolf he could put basically anyone

I see wolves do that literally all the time

I'll keep that in mind.

You know, it's something I'm always looking for as town--situations where a scum pairing can't work because damn that's a hard bus--but in reality the only two games I've played where scum won the lone survivor built his/her equity through brutal and unprompted early destruction of a partner.  Yet I still think it holds true for most people because bussing is effective but it's really not very fun.  I did it in my first scum game because holy mother of god did I want to win that, and it paid off, but I've looked for ways to avoid it since.

I forgot Dice when I talked about my suspect pool.

Rack, Pral, Lenlo and Dice.

And no, I don't expect all of them to be scum. In fact, from most scummy to least scummy my list goes:

Rack

Pral

Dice

Lenlo

I misread this sequence for a split second.  lolololol?

I think you are being testy. "Kiddo" is a term of endearment where I'm from. At least, that's how I intended it.

I always look for stuff like that too, but I tend to look for A) authenticity rather than dedication B) actual game impact of the push C) level of personal interaction and D) the habits of the players who are doing it.

Some players more likely to bus than others. Some very, very likely. Some very unlikely. It's also situation-based on how well specific players get along and possible playstyle clashes. I remember Nyn (who rarely busses) bussing the hell out of Kivam in the Usual Suspects game simply because she felt Kivam was so scummy she had no choice.

A list that probably has 0-1 wolves:

Sili

Thane

Shad

Taborline

Yates

Zander

Dice

Might be one wolf. Can you tell me why you have such high confidence in Dice?

I could but I don't want to explain in depth

I read him somewhat similarly to how I read Nyn if that makes sense to you

The amount of people who are still scum reading Dice has been a bit... fascinating to me.

Okay. But I remembered it from this post in 9-5.  And I think I may have even quoted it earlier.  It's not like I went back and checked to see that you were quoting yourself from an earlier game...
