I feel like Cory is very likely cleared in one of two ways:

 

1. Clov is probably the only person I trust to read Cory accurately. He was Town reading Cory.

 

2. If Clov was NOT the direct target last night, then I think he probably protects Cory. Which means Cory could have been the target.

 

Either way? I'm okay losing to Cory with "I blame Clov spew" as an excuse.

And that's part of why I was Town reading him. But I'm also not going to underestimate him. Because that's dumb. I think Sili is a WAY better player than some people give him credit for.

 

I'm perfectly content taking Sili out of the pool for today. He was only in there in the world where Clov was a direct target and being silenced for that very strong scum read.

When I'm scum I tend to prioritize PR hunting.  It's this arrogant belief that I can wiggle out of anything but a peek.  Sometimes I go for a general eliminate the skilled players approach, but not always.  I've also seen quite a few low info kills N1 despite strong players with high town equity.  Low info kills are typically followed by something that Cory actually did in this game and I didn't actually remember that until I started typing this.

 

So my point was going to be that speculating on Nomi's kill is kind of useless, but I come remembering where I thought it might point to Cory back when it first happened.  Funny, that.  I'll take it into consideration at least.

I agree with all of this. But here's the deal; do you think Nomi did anything to hint at being a PR? I don't. I think he might have even been a decent mislynch candidate. So maybe looking back to see if I can figure out why he was targeted isn't even a wast of my time?

 

In lieu of having a SOLID lead on a PR; I subscribe to the theory that Town leaders are next highest priority. There is nothing more demoralizing than a Town with no leader.

This is what makes me think we should be trying to look elsewhere right now? Lenlo's resolution would give us a LOT of help, I think, but we can't afford to lose more town players.

I wonder if Lenlo is being pushed through as a town player, and am worried that other reads are too dependent on his flip. If he IS town, we aren't really in a position to lose him for that sake as we've lost too many town already.
