I will generally confirm I have a lower set of expectations when it comes to Yates IRT to what he remembers game-to-game. I don't mean that as an insult

Not only am I not offended, I freely admit this is the case. I am seldom ONLY doing mafia when I'm doing mafia. If I tried to remember meta the way some of you do? I'd have to make room by forgetting important stuff like how many seconds to nuke 4 oz of water vs 8 oz when making formula...

 

@ Yates - so what is your actual read on Tab in this game?

I haven't ISOed her yet. Because I'm not just doing mafia right now... But I'm planning on getting to it before shutting down for the night.

I read the game. She voted because she was pretty much forced to in a hammer/deadline game. She wanted nothing to do with any of the Verbal/Tina/Eldrick lynches, believing each of them were town but then consolidating later when the vocal town core told her to. It actually nearly did her in on Day 5 because she had been pushing reads in line with the Mafia team all game, but Eldrick was caught via watcher result by BFG.

 

She will tell you this herself. I'm not trying to embarass her - she's learning and I think her overall posting style is strong and her biggest flaw is long spurts of inactivity (which might be her participation in larger and more content-heavy games) and it's a game you learn with experience - but there are dangers to just making assumptions about things.

 

EDIT: I feel bad about making this post but I'd feel worse if Yates got to believe he was right

Page 4 - Sili goes crazy. Hes kinda spamming the thread here, most of it is pointless. Why?

Rack hasnt actually contributed at all. Hes just pushed something with no reason and then let Sili do all the work. atleast in terms of my train. He did alittle bit of poking at Zander but nothing serious. I feel like he might be pushing me early as a reaction train? Like see what people do, who jumps on a quick bandwagon, how I defend myself. Just get some overall reactions. Seeing how he plays it out will be interesting and telling imo.

 

Zander posted a good amount, but mostly just light hearted stuff. I want MEAT. Quick to jump on me, and stay on me I might add, when I vote Corlanna jokingly.

 

Clov disagrees with Rack on Zander, but thinks hes town. Also engages Sili abit. Hes not afraid to confront people

 

Lots of inactives this game. We have to be careful about people pushing them for weak reasons, as I think that would be an easy for the scum to rack up some easy days/kills.

 

Cory not saying anything meaningful, votes Sooh. Cmon Coreh. Help me out here.

 

Hallia soft defends me for no reason. Its not major but something worth noting imo.

 

Sooh pokes at Sili, doesnt back it with a vote. I dunno why but I kinda feel like she is testing the waters for a Sili push. Have nothing to back this up atm sadly.

Sili, lots of votes, lots of posts, moderate amount of content imo. Got into it with Yates. Gets pissy at me when I dismiss his and Racks push on me because it has nothing to it. I asked if he was drunk. Apparently this was stupid. Im still amused by it. After I respond to him though, he finally posts a good meaningful, more than 1 line post. I liked it.

Whoever asked about Hallia - shes been less active her past few games, and was mafia in a couple, but she wasn't overly active in a town game. My key with her isn't the number of posts but how she's using them. Town Hallia is usually (slighty) more forthcoming with reads and some sort of justification.

A little bit of both. As Zander mentioned we already have a 1-shot claim, gives Lenlo's more credence. It probably wouldn't be believed at all without that claim already in the open. Of course, he could actually be a 1xdoc; I think we've watched towns lynch docs too many times on DM and it's making people wary. Besides, this might resolve itself at night.

I missed ures  saw corys but he does that regularly and he seemed  iirc to keep it non specific. Clovs seemed more specific. And I just didnt like it.

Going back and reading Cory, if I read you alone I come up with villager.  Does that mean I drop the vibe from Laine altogether?  No, but it does put you higher on my list. <3  I really like these recent points on Pral.  I think I was taken in by his early posting, but this response he just posted:

If you think D1 is erroneous or meaningless I have no idea what to tell you. I have something like a ~60% d1 wolf lynch rate, and games where villages lynch wolves on d1 end in village victories a very good clip of the time because there is a great deal to glean from it.

 

Why are you a villager, Pral? Besides that this is "how you always play". I don't care at all how you play, I care about whether or not you are a villager. Capiche?

I ask you this because your activity becomes a talking point in ~every game. And people often use that as an excuse to vote you. Take Cory as an example. I have already posted for you a snippet of what Cory thinks about activity AS A WOLF. When he is scum, he likes to "kill the smart, active villagers above all else..." It stands to reason that as Town he would want to lynch the dumb or inactive villagers in lieu of a better scum read. It also stands to reason that as wolf he could find himself getting stuck pushing on inactive users when he doesn't think he can get the mislynch he is looking for.

 

TLDR - If I could get you to post more and be more active and, in general, make yourself an unlynchable Townie that would be great. If you're a wolf I will be upset with you this game but ask you to accommodate this request in future Town games.

Is scummy.  Game content doesn't massively reduce from D2 onwards.  It can become more focused, but with quotes, and people having better arguments and more evidence to base those arguments off of, will be longer.
