Cory why are you an island this game? You tend to unify the town by considering their reads and making well informed decisions if not sheeping whole heartedly. You have in my experience been a wolf when you dont care as much about your town core or leading said core. Did you achieve anything day 1 eod even?

First off: I am not an island. I have tried my very very best to build bridges to other players. I can't control other people deciding to read me whichever way. I didn't have to drag people yelling and screaming d1 because my top wolfreads were Rack and Pral - WHOOPS - but they were on the button literally the entire day phase.

Unfortunately my ability as a "leader" is heavily dictated by my team. I'm not super powerful godman, especially not alone, because I take a very unique and specific approach to making reads, so I need people to support me. This game I have literally Zander and Thane that seem to want anything to do with me. I'd love to talk to Clov more but we seem to be on opposite schedules, probably some of which is my fault as my time is being taken up by the fact that I bought a condo, moved into a condo, and have been doing a redesign of the place in addition to my work schedule. Regardless, I have been here literally as much as possible. Today I'm being rejected wholly and I can do NOTHING about that, literally. If people decided to close their ears and eyes all I can do is kick and scream and I'm done kicking and screaming. So be it, whatever.

I think BFG is either a villager or trying to level me because she knows it's worked before.

I withdraw from reading that slot and will defer to someone who is less emotionally involved

I don't think I've ever levelled you as mafia before?

All it takes is a single Mafia member to say something about how to overpower me as a villager, as I have a lot of well-known weaknesses. Sooh, for one, tried this tactic to the point where I've never really let her live it down, but I've seen wolves do it as I am not handled like a regular player.

I'm here, I'll probably be here ~most of the night, and I will answer/address anything you want.  I mean, I feel like I've been pretty forthcoming (as much as I can when I'm slanking, anyway).  What's up?

Why am I getting so much pushback this game?

I don't think you'd know the answer, but if I start kidnapping people's dogs while I was sleepwalking you would tell me right

Wolves are Zander, and if Sooh flips scum like I suspect you. If Sooh doesnt flip scum I would have to say maybe BFG and Dice? I havnt thought that much about if Sooh flips town atm because if she does im not lasting long this game.

For Town I wanna say Clov, Yates though I could easily be biased there cause of his defense of me. Shad and Sili are up there to.

In the middle are Hallia and Tab. If you flip scum, id say Hallia is town. If you flip town then Hallia is probably scum because I dont remember a game where you were both town and this kinda attitude between you two ever happened.

Is there something that you're separating these for, or is it a lack of good candidates with a Town!sooh?  Off the top of my head, there's no reason that Dice or BFG couldn't be mafia with Sooh (though I don't believe either are).

While I fully agree that Cory flipping mafia is enough to write Hallia off, I think you have a big logic gap regarding him flipping town.  I still don't know if I believe that Hallia would want to push Cory early if she's mafia - if at all.  I don't really remember this kind of interaction between the two of them, either, but them both being townies mean they have to feel one another out.

Where are you IRT Thane?  I think he's the only person you've left off.

BFG/Dice, I am separating them for lack of good candidates for Town!Sooh. As I said, I havnt put much thought into if Sooh flips town cause I have basically put all my eggs into the Scum!Sooh/Scum!Zander basket. Tab could theoretically be one to, but Tab is the weakest of my reads in either direction.

For the Cory thing, as I said I just dont remember any previous games where they were like this and both town. If Cory flips town id probably defer to people who can read Hallia better cause she has consistently fooled old me.

For Thane, hes in the middle but while we were talking he was rising. I dont think hes scum anymore, but I just cant put him up in high town with you and Yates.

I mean, hell if I know.  I stopped reading the thread on the fourth day of D1.

This was a joke, in case anybody couldn't tell.  I stopped reading during sign ups.

Clov you have three shots who do you shoot

LMK

You, me, and Shad.

I chuckled for the first time today. Thank you.

Okay, serious answer - first shot hits Lenlo.  I really don't hate his two recent posts at all, but he's low on my list.  Additionally, I think him flipping scum guarantees you and Zander are town (I believe you both are, but I'm not so confident on either that I wouldn't tinfoil on you at LYLO - especially him).

Him flipping town means my next bullet goes into Sooh, who I feel is by FAR the most likely scum of those that were going at Lenlo during the night.  Him flipping mafia doesn't prevent that, but I think I would be inclined to shoot Tab over Sooh, though I won't rule out the bus entirely.

Not sure what I'd do with the third bullet.  The safest play would be shooting whichever of Tab/Sooh I didn't shoot with bullet #2, but tbh I'd probably take a hero shot because I'm, well, me.

I put my dishes in the dish washer so I could... play mafia... without feeling bad... about not cleaning?

Clov, the point i was making was that Cory, as town, is inclined to form a town core and trust his core. I was pointing out that Cory was not accounting for his core's reads, and I think that is still true where it comes to Dice regardless of what you personally believe.

Okay cory its nice ur the only person whos pegged dice as town.

@ sili   do you actually read the WHOLE game? Or just bits that pertain to you? Cory Clov and Thane think im town off the top of my head. Think you did too at one point.

i dont think so...

i read whatever i care about and i haven't paid a lot of attention to clov or thane. i dont know if thane is relevant. if you can show me you're consensus town, that's another matter. From what I've read of late however that does not seem to be the case.

One of the reasons I'm not TOTALLY CLEARING dice besides dice's content is Zander's persistence on him d1 tbh

But that's just personal to this game; I have no idea what you are talking about in general, most of my reads are my reads unless I feel like I need to defer to someone who reads a slot better than I do. In the case of dice I am perfectly capable of reading that slot and probably read him as well as anyone here

Please attempt to read the thread. People just reading sections and then deciding they are informed is how Cory gets nosebleeds.

It's your job as a villager to read the thread and make the most informed decisions possible.

Towns lose when people just shoot from the hip and cherry pick information to fit whatever they've decided they want their reads to be.

Well I never think I am informed. I don't exist under that delusion but yes I am trying to read up now.
