I would really like to see Crusher interact more outside of his JN comfort zone.  He's voted the two people who know him.  They're the two who have votes on him right now.  The whole thing feels really boxed in and as bad as his Kiv vote looks, I don't know, I kind of think they're the two targets he would have the hardest time dealing with and he could have safely floated suspicion on just about anyone else in this game without drawing a lot of attention on himself.  His votes aren't practical for scum.

Not ready to put him in the greens yet cause he pissed me off and I keep grudges     But I've been wrecking my brain about it and I think his actions are coming from a townie mindset. I think what I need to seal him as a green is Crusher's flip.

 

You're making the same mistake Nolder is.  You know me well enough to know that I'd have absolutely no problem at all aggressively leading a lynch on a teammate, including on D1.  I'm actually a townie this game, so the mistake is to the town's benefit (correctly clearing me for a bad reason is as +ev this game as correctly clearing me for the right reason, the same way lynching me for a bad reason when I'm scum is as +ev for town as lynching me for a good reason), but why would you approach me this way?

 

 

I think you misunderstand. I'm not saying you are incapable of pushing a teammate. You are more than capable of doing that. So am I. 

 

Nolder assumes you're scum for a pretty thin reason. And by extension he thinks Crusher is town. Which, like you said, is a mistake because it could just be distancing.

 

As for me, I'm not saying I'm leaning town on you because I'm scum reading Crusher, and I wouldn't expect you to push him as his teammate. My reason is that I think you had a very real opening to manipulate the situation into pushing me further. Instead you sprung a trap on Crusher, who imo was pretty terrib when he rushed in. That's more indicative of you actually doing this for reaction and actively scumhunting. vs. what Nolder thinks. And yes, seeing Crusher's flip would make me more comfortable with you... but it's not the reason for the lean, if that makes sense.

His vote on me was bad. His vote on Kiv is pure OMGUS and Kiv has basically shown that it's based on BS. What does practicality have to do with it? He's been playing scummy. Why are you working under the premise that he would play more clean as scum and avoid us? Have you even played with him before?  

 

For the record, Kiv and I aren't the only ones who have played with him before. Nolder and Halli have plenty. Pretty sure AJ has as well. As did Alanna.

hmmm... i've skimmed some, seeing the current events at work make me feel a bit murderous and i'm in quite a bad mood at the moment. 

 

A few short things:

 

Shad/Calder/Nyn interaction is very distracting. Not liking this, it definately feels off to me.

 

Kivam has apoint, asking why nobody asks about his vote on me. I wasn't around, but i would have. You can feel someone is off from 2 whole posts?  IMO, your vote on me was not a serious vote. Questioning people about it yourself makes me think even more that it is some sort of test.  

 

#331: Calder notes not many people posting, true at this point. Feels more like a private chat than a full game. 

 

Kivam/Nyn interaction follows; once again Calder is in there too. (is this guy going to be in every single conversation here?)

 

#346: i find clov's vote on Hallia odd. Feels like it comes out of nowhere, like Kivam's vote on me, for that matter. 

 

#353, Crusher votes Nyn... woah... this feels like a low blow here, not liking it one bit.

1) it's a real peek, in this case YAY!

I'm not trying to attack you for your read because I'm not caught up, but this game is about appearances. Even though you intend things to be read one way, it's hard for other people to accurately read two players going at each other like you to have been and comes off as you defending rather than scumhunting

You were making it seem like it wouldn't make sense for him, as scum, to go for the two people he knows... that if he avoided Kiv and I he could float around.... and that you would like him to interact more with the none JN crowd. My god it made it in there after all.  I thought it wouldn't after I won. 

 

I kept thinking PF Kivam the whole time I was arguing with Calder.  Kiv's approach in that game was to constantly misrepresent the person he was arguing with in a way to make them look opportunistic or defensive.  It was fairly effective, somehow.  At least, it took both of us plus him self-voting to secure the lynch.  <_<  I feel like Calder was doing the same thing, and I called him out for it continuously.  The fact that no one else is seeing it that way means he's either good at it or I'm wrong and there was some absurdly persistent miscommunication between us.  I'm generally worried that the former is the case and people aren't digging into the actual exchange because it's easier to accept a surface vibe that Calder's calling me out and I'm desperately defending.  The fact is if I wanted to defend myself I should have been able to end this a long time ago regardless of alignment.  I am either town pushing a player I honestly think is scum, or I'm scum failing hard at a mislynch/faking a tunnel.
