Ragnarok Game Thread - Game Over, Town Wins!

Really, now is the time for townies to start broadcasting your alignement. There's too many nulls and hard to read. Don't be worried about how you might come off... Just post, take stances, show that you aren't afraid to get some heat. There's still to many people I feel uncertain off. Do your best to interact in real time. It's time to work together. We've gotten one mafia down, but there's still 3 to go + Loki. We mustn't forget about Loki either; he needs to be dead for town to be able to win. And we need normal control over our roles soon.

 

If anyone has any doubts about me, or something they want my thoughts on, now's the time to ask me questions. I'll be around regularly for a couple of hours at least (while making a colour chart over my colour pencils, lol)

I think Loki will playing his/her best to look town, much harder to find. If I think someones town, doesn't mean I don't think they are Loki.

 

Right now I'm suspicious of JS, I need to read back on him, because I think it is just that hammer that is causing it. BFG hasn't improved Sooh's slot yet, And Verb still has to come into the game, which he hasn't done yet. It will be interesting to see what AJ says as well.

 

Something between Leelou and Tina that grates. The back and forth between them doesn't feel right. I need to read them both again. I wasn't keen on Tina's list earlier. It was the tone of them, but will need to go over that as well. Too much to do and so little time.

I know Talya. My point was, I think before Tab said she targeted Cory, I had already said in thread that I targeted Cory N1. So since I'd already said so in thread, then it would be easier for her to say the same. Makes sense?

 

Reread this, because I think I  got a different meaning out of it this morning at work. I see what you mean now, she could have easily thrown it in there.

 

I think it was Eld who said that we should all say who we sent actions in for on N1 and N2. I believe there maybe people out there who would be able to tell if what they recieve tallies. And yes, I know we can't say, but we Loki is gone, we will have a clearer picture on things.

The read is going okay, Talya. I made it through 40+ pages last night but that's still only a third of the game I would rather be caught up in full before I am pushed to vote someone but based on what I've seen D1 I doubt JS is partners with Celeste. Going simply off what I've read I would also say Verb is a likely one just based on Celeste's disconnect when it came to voting someone out of the Verb/Talya/Leelou triangle. She mentions him saying his silence was odd, and brings him up again later jn the post about the interaction "being off" or whatever she said but voted you over him instead. Doesn't really show consistency imo if she already had a strike on Verb so to speak.

So his mafia team was Leelou and BFG, followed by Talya, Taborline, me and Oci. 

 

This is when I´m starting to doubt my mafia read on Leelou. As I said, I need to re-read her D2 content because as I remember she voted WishCeleste early. (Could be wrong.) I think I will start looking at these people anyway. Not sure why he put Verbal in the town list.

Our doc doesn't (didn't now) know they were the doc, therefore couldn't effectively use their role.

Just going to point this out: How do you pronounce the word "our"?  How about the word "or"?  Now insert those pronunciations into the british words with unnecessary u's (colour, favour, splendour) and tell me what works better.

I was thinking I would disregard both my scenario A and B. This is what I was thinking after not getting a result this night:

 

Everyone sends in an action, and that action is registered. But the result of roles that give back results, are randomized between players. So a result player A sent in will be given to player B, who doesn't have a role that gives a result, while player A gets the result for an action player C sent in, and player C gets nothing.

 

But then I remembered the kills N1 and it doesn't make sense again... If targets are not randomized, then the kills are weird. That means Dice killed CorKey, and and mafia killed Dice. Unless Loki has a killing power, he took out Dice, mafia took CorKey, and then N2 either Loki or mafia holstered, or they both targeted Sili.

 

I am completly confused and will give up on making any sense of this for now. Let's just conclude with "something is up with NA's" and leave it at that until we locate Loki.

My current thought is all investigative roles' results are scrambled. Actions hit their intended target. Loki (or maybe someone else, but he's the best candidate) is a mirror and Dice hit them N1.

On D1, Talya gets into a small amount of trouble with Leelou over the “Why Cory?” conversation. She emerges from that with some suspicion around her for a while, but relatively unscathed, until she starts to gather votes, one of which is from Wish.

 

Then comes this. The first real, thought-out vote for Wish that we see in the game:

I liked sili's interaction with Ocicat and celeste. I have quoted above the post I want Celeste to answer. She posted knowing that if pushed Ocicat reveals himself, and yet, she didn't push him and didn't say what it was that you needed to look for after the interaction between sili and ocicat. It came across as a post that is looking like being involved but not really. Would like to hear her thought on Oci

 

It made me feel better Sili, he looked good here. I think his case on me is grasping at straws, so that brings it down again. His reaction to Oci surprised me, I would have thought he would say something about that, because Oci's reasoning was poor, and opportunist, rather do any work himself.

 

Sooh is certainly more fiesty than her last game, but she wasn't around so much in that game.

 

This is chaneable, but as of now reads list: (they are in no particular order in the groups)

 

Town:

 

JS - I have like his posts reminds me of BM game

Eld - Honest answers, mush clearer in what he says

Lenlo - Like his response to me and to Sili earlier on

Mish - Seems more engaged in this game, when she is here

Tina - Posts reminds me again of BM

 

Slight town/want to be town (means I want them to be):

 

Sili - he's a big player, done some things I have like, some not so much, this is more hoping he is town at present

Cory - I like his play and also want him to be town (but I can be fooled, so reluctant to put you up further)

Sooh - I like the feisty Sooh, I have doubts about it being town/sooh...but willing to go slight for now, her responses to me have been good.

Leelou - liked her response to me, but just a little wary of her.

 

Null:

 

Pral - haven't seen much to comment

Dice - Want to see more of before I decide

Tress - as with Dice

Verb - now he's back want to see his take on events before I feel I can put him in town or not

Tab - Like a few of her posts, still working out

 

Slightly on the wolfy side:

 

Oci - not liked the tone of his posts (I think it seems to be a theme - so it could be just him and I need to get used to it), I thought his vote on me was opportunistic. The reason he's not high as scum, is because I can't believe he would really do that as wolf...but I don't know enough, so for now in the scummy pile

 

Wish/Celeste - There have been a few questions, a lot of them about is it normal for people to say this or that. I didn't like Celeste's post about Oci, said it above. I'm not sure that Oci and Celeste/wish are likely to be wolves, so puts me in a quandry about the two here.

 

[v]Wish/Celeste[/v] out of the two, this is my strongest wolf read.

 

This leads me to think she is distancing herself from Wishleste, being the first in there to throw suspicion on her, and it makes sense from their previous conversations.

And at the very top of her greens list, is JS.

 

At the end of D1, Talya is also responsible for Pral's hammer.

 

What caught my eye in going back and looking at Talya was this:

 

JS looks bad for that hammer. Wish said in one of her last lists that she thought JS was wolf and that he would come in and hammer her. I think he came on and did exactly that and was probably told to in the QT.

I was hoping we could eek this out and have some of the inactives views on it all, but well done Mish and Sili <3

 

 

I think their whole act of blaming each other and having different reads was done on purpose to confuse us.

 

It just sounded too right, as if she could have been there and knows that this is EXACTLY what's going on. And JS did exactly what she did on D1, hammering, but this time hammering their team mate. Again, making both look good and distant from one another.

 

It didn't help that just as I was looking through this, JS makes this post:
