No idea who would be a good lynch (reading the thread might help there) but Lenlo is a very hard read d1 and he gets much easier later. He doesn't have the stamina to keep a good wolf gamr going.

@ Alanna, you don't like Kiv doing what he did for his own agenda, why does this make you think scum rather than null?

 

about Zander - Every game I'm in I try to improve and take note of what people say, my game is evolving all the time, and try different things. However you and others have told Zander over and over about his game and he never evolves it. after our last game I feel like he won't change it because when he is scum he will use it to cover himself. If he was town, wouldn't you think he would want to show it more, instead of relying on old SW Zander that everyone loved. It's a cliche and how do you justify calling him town because of it?

That's not the reason that I'm voting him. That's an annoyance and I think it's a null point on his case, but I'm voting him because of the Pral-vote issue and him using meta that he didn't have and backtracking on that because he doesn't believe in meta. It all feels very contradictory to me. ....and my explanation sounds very bland. >_>

 

Refer to... this post of Nyn's (and basically everything she's said this game, not that I'm sheeping) and to this post of mine and conversation with Shad following it on that page. That combined with the defensiveness of Mish earlier in the day is the reason he has my vote.

 

I'm also suspicious of Nolderp and Lenlo, so I'll be looking at those two when I get the chance

 

Re: Zander (I think Nyn asked about why I town read him so quickly too and said something along the lines as "that's stupid"): I'll refer you to the British Monarchy game. We started out strongly town reading each other like usual, but I like to consider that a testing phase, to see if he can keep up the same feel that I normally get from him. Reminder that this was also running at the same time (towards the end of?) the Belichick game, so I was also mafia with him then too. The thing is his game on d1 started slacking and I called him out on it and had to keep pushing him to explain where he wasn't explaining well enough and to be more focused in his reads. We were both town in that game and I got killed n1 by SEPH I just want to point out that just because we town read each other early doesn't mean we're not testing each other or evolving our reads of each other. That would be dumb to assume someone is town just because you want them to be. The point (I have a point?)... the point I'm trying to make is that Zander is probably town this game and though that read isn't solidified I'm very confident in it. I'm sure Zander is going to say something about "gut reads" and he's probably right. LOL

 

@Laine - I agree with your points on Lenlo. Hoping to see more explanation of his part when I finish reading the rest of the thread tomorrow but to say the least I don't like the way he's approaching me or Zeph in this situation. Seems to be going more for thread consensus while notably not looking at Kivish.

Because she initially placed her vote on me 8 hrs into the game on the theory that I was trying to park my vote and slide through the day, which would be scummy of me ... and has since parked her vote on me and slid through the day.

 

There are other bells and whistles to it - check out my recap post about the problems with her "he's parking his vote!" argument in and of itself - but that's the bottom line, IMO.

I don't mind info lynches if they are legit, but just saying that someone gives info because he/she interacted a lot is faulty.  Info lynches should always be applied to certain slots over others, but not in the way that you mean it.  They should be applied to slots where you have a concrete idea of exactly what info you are going to get (i.e. conditional associative reads), not just "oh this lynch gives generic infoz."

I don't care that he wanted to lynch someone for an info lynch even if I disagree with it. If I lynched people just because I don't like their logic these games would be really really short. My thing is I want to know if that person actually believes what they are saying. Lenlo doesn't pass the eye test in this regard.

This makes no sense.  Right now, you and I are the other names on the chopping block, and you're already on me.  So the only way we'd need help to "secure a lynch" on Lenlo would be if I overtook him (in which case, if I'm you're number 1, why would you switch?) or if you did (in which case it wouldn't be "securing a lynch", it would be self-preservation)
