I have no real qualms with a Zander/Seph lynch besides ~middling reads on some of the players who are on it

 

I love Zander to death but this has been pretty much him in all roles since his absurd lololol powerbus of Talya in Belicheck and Seph has trailed off

 

Key's been very paranoid of them in hydra chat and I'm probably mildly biased reading that slot and I accept that about myself

During the only wolf game of Zander's I have ever read he was pretty much in line with his now usual villager play-style (high post content, repetitive, etc.) but in that specific game 85% of his gameplay was him bussing one of his partners

 

Keep in mind I'm one of those terrible "meta" players who tries to understand how individual people think and get in their head to see if what they say is genuine or not

One interpretation of this post is; "I'm voting for Pral BECAUSE he likes to lurk as scum and hasn't even checked in yet."

 

That's the interpretation I had.

 

However, another interpretation is; "I'm voting for Pral since nobody is doing anything else and I like to prod lurkers when I don't have better things to do with my vote. ALSO, he likes to lurk as scum. Let's make him post a lot."

 

This was not an interpretation that immediately came to mind but is one that seems to be implied by his defense posts. I kind of didn't want to spell it out since it would have been better if HE had said something like this. Also, I could be wrong about this interpretation.

 

Still, the second interpretation seems like it could be implied if you string together this, this, this, this, this, and this. It's like he's answering suspicion without even realizing that we are all assuming the first interpretation - ie. he's unaware of why his post is being read as an accusation. But if you reread those links with the second interpretation in mind? I can buy it.

My tldr;

Interpretation 1:

Kiv votes for Pral because he thinks Pral lurks as scum and Pral hasn't checked in yet.

Interpretation 2:

Kiv votes for Pral because no one's doing anything and he wants to stir some activity by prodding lurkers. It is secondary that Pral lurks as scum and Pral hasn't checked in yet.

 

If interpretation 2 returns true, then:

a. If there were others that lurked as scum and they hadn't checked in --> b. they would also be probable targets for Kiv.

 

If a. returns true, then b. also returns true. In this case, the question, why didn't Kiv target the other probable targets, is appropriate.

I feel like I already answered this? I'll give you that Yates had several in a row that were fluffy last night, but then he had a bunch that were actually relevant to the game/gamesolve. Your first quote above is a misrep because you lead into the comment about Yates by saying that you find Wombat's multiquotes worthless... Yates did the same thing last night. Implying that he never got to anything about the game when in fact literally 14 minutes after he posted fluff, he started posting game stuff.

As far as "any of his posts before" he got back to you about Nyn - what does this have to do with anything? I never mentioned Nyn and in your first quote above neither did you. You implied that he NEVER got around to it

 

What about that is a misrep?  Yates made a serious of posts, and they were worthless.  Unless you want to argue that the handful of ones he made in succession that I quotes somehow gave a positive contribution to the thread, I don't see how you can argue I'm "misrepping" anything.

 

Regarding his post about Nyn...it's a bench mark.  I'm pointing out where I felt his posts stopped being meaningless and actually could be considered solving.

Well, Sili bringing up the town/scum list in page 5 seems very weird. Looks a bit forced to me.

But then, Sili has a way of doing something weird everygame and I usually end up tunneling him. Hope that is not the case here
 

Actually, mish, there is a logic (to cut down on game bloat) that is good enough to start with, since it's not mathematically worse than any other random group of players. ......................and for us, it's actually mathematically better, since we'd be looking for 2 scum out of seven hydras - a 29% chance - instead of 5 scum in 19 players (a 26% chance). Of course, that assumes an even distribution, but if we're going to look at a random pool of 8, I'd rather it be one we're in rather than one we're not Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk

Technically, this logic applies only if you are planning to vote blind the entire game. People make informed choices. Even if it is D1, there are some stuff people base their votes on. So, I don't generally agree with this argument.

1. Scum. I like lying, simple as that :)
2. Usually alone. Being not in the majority timezone, gets difficult to be on when most of the people are free
3. Usually a late game player. I hate D1. Am usually better when the number of people playing reduces
4. Couple of years. Started in this iste and have played all games here

That was Prals catchup post in the spoils. I liked it. He said he would come back with a post and he came back with a post. A good post imo. Pral is good for now.

 

Just so everyone knows, this is why I hate big games.

I'm constantly in catchup mode and have no idea what's what, who's who, or what is going on.

I think you are making the pretty grand mistake of assuming Zander knows the meanings of the words he uses

We make that mistake with you all the time, cut him some slack.

 

 

I think it's kind of interesting that Wombat pulled up the post count when he was towards the bottom end of that list.  I'm not sure what the point he was trying to make is, but it seems odd that it comes from the same end of the list that people tend to look unfavorably at.
 
But it does bring me to my next observation.  People that I've seen pretty much only fluff from.  Or rather, person.  That's Lenlo.  He did say that he was moving, to be fair, but I would still have hoped to see more when he was here.

Just think of it as before reveal and after reveal.

 

Posts that were before reveal were fake-emo, believably so

 

Posts after were not, and visibly not.

 

Zander took an "after" post and called it an emo AtE to justify maintaining a vote on me.  Of course, it's possible he just missed the reveal, but even so I want to know what in that post he considered an appeal to emotion.  He's never said.

 

I also asked him 2 questions in my unvote post about how he was reading and responding to the thread - he seemed to be doing a linear catch up read with live responses as he went; I asked if that was true and if he'd been doing that when he made the AtE post.  If he was, it makes the "missed the reveal" defense less plausible.  And he ignored those questions.
