the fact that there are a lot of good players in this game but nobody really puts in an effort to start towntelling bothers me too.... 

D3 is nearly done and there is not real towncore yet. 

 

It bugs me. 

It also bugs me that the wolves can pick of the top townies just like that every night. BFG was obv town, Seph was obv town. They, do a better job this game than town.

And I think six weeks leave beats Darthe's 3 (I actually have 8 this year as I carried 2 over from last year)

 

I'm going to look again at Hally, Leelou is higher (mainly because I think Seph viewed) *protects bum from any bites*

This is not a  fastmoving game, there are enough posts to check and comment on, but people don't. And that's a problem here. People not playing. People not clearing themselves.

 

Here's something to work with Hallia: i'd like something from you. Your top 3 townies, and why you think they are. And, your top 3 wolf suspects, with reasons why. There are only 2 left, i know. But the pool of suspects should be narrowed down.

From all the talk in Belichick about your town vs scum game and from what I saw in SW, I do not expect to see scum!Thane town leading.  I approve of this post.

Unless you're scum.  You're not scum, are you?  Post in lavender if you are scum.  (BTW, the number of posts in that game that I have held myself back from repping for fear that someone would read more into it than "wow, that's a funny post" is ridiculous)

 

The willingness to go with the agreement that Sooh and Dice are town makes me suspicious of both of them.  But as I feel that Dice is essentially cleared for the time being, it makes sense that he would agree if a teammate were mentioned here, whom I think is Sooh.

This pinged to me as I was trying to pay special attention to Sooh and Darthe upon reread.  I have Thane as town read, and Seph was town, so this is wolfy.

I was hoping to get a reaction out of darthe with all this, but kiv is just as good :)

Kivam hit everything I wanted to, some better phrased than I would have, so I'll respond to this instead which is at the bottom of the page. This is backwards. Hoping to get a reaction from me and soul reading me are two mutually exclusive actions and require different processes. Tone reads as forced and defensive, logic is cripplingly off and the subject matter doesn't fit the things.

I really liked the interaction between the two of them.
Sooh is probably my stongest town read, her tone is great, she isn't posting cautiously. She is all around towny in my eyes!

 

I'm kind of agreeing with you on this one.  Tone is strikingly different from Alien and SW.  Sooh, are we team mates for once?

 

I hope so.. If you're town we are. 

 

I'm a bit irked by the way you've been using semantics against Seph so far in this game. To me Seph reads like trying to kickstart the game and wanting to get reactions, which he has gotten in spades. Not sure how people are reading this as a scummy move. 

 

I'm not ready to go out and hard defend Seph, but I don't see anything scummy in what he's doing. He's poking and prodding and getting people to react to him. Actually Shad's vote on Seph is probably one of the more emotionally involved votes I've seen Shad make. 

 

This is but one such post of Sooh defending Seph pretty hard.  There were several up to page ten, which feels to me like scum defending a known townie.

I'm going to [v]unvote[/v].  Seph's reaction to pressure seemed believable to me.  I'm still concerned by the potential TMI slip more than anything, so I'm not exactly tossing Seph into the townpile, but it's not enough to justify a bandwagon this early.

 

That said, I'm pretty annoyed by the pressure Shad is getting for his vote ... was hoping to see another few people hop onto the Seph lynch when it seemed like low hanging fruit before unvoting.  That won't be happening now. 

This one makes me suspicious of Shad due to Kiv's wording int he bold.

Can you explain your reads on Kivam and Seph up to this point?

Seph's attitude is very different here than in Star Wars. He's playing with confidence and swagger where I remember him as defensive and insecure. His more recent games should tell me if this is his new norm. Supposing for now that it is since no one has called him out for it, the big thing that bugs me is the explanation behind his Darthe vote. He contradicted himself explaining his thought process, as I see it, and I don't get how that happens if he was being honest. But he's putting on a show of trying to solve. Three votes and a lot of accusations didn't frazzle him much. It's not the Seph I towned with two months ago but that's not scummy in and of itself.

 

Kivam is interesting.  I feel like he's all over the place.  I want to interpret it as trying to shake things up and keep the game moving.  He's having a go at people who haven't been sussed at all (Sooh, Tina, Hallia, me before I got into it with Seph).  That's productive at this stage, if it creates some inconsistency.  He got on Sooh for sussing me over the Seph vote.  That felt weird, but I'm not seeing Sooh's scum game at all here and he might not know what to look for.  I don't have a clue what is normal for him so meh.  I want to like him.

 

 

Up through page 17, this is the main thing that stood out enough to link.  The nullish but positive feelings that Shad has for Kiv here, and the dirt he's trying to toss without it showing on Seph.

 

If I had to say, top three townies are Leelou, Thane, Dice.  Bottom three Scum are Shad, Sooh, Darthe.
