I snipped out the rest of the MQ, but dude.....I'm completely lost on what the hell you're saying here.  I showed you that you said Eldrick was null, asked me why I said villager, and then I explained and you later had him as a ~strong village read.  Ok, but then I asked if my explanation made you change your mind, and you mentioned a post that did it, and then quoted it.

 

I then pointed out this post came before you noted Eldrick as null, and your answer is the above.  Suffice to say I have no freakin' clue what you're trying to do here, and it frustrates me.  I've been getting used to thinking you're a villager when I can understand you.......and I thought I was understanding you up through this instance.

 

So please help me here.  I think you're the villager I've been reading you as, but you need to help me get over this hump.  Help me Sili-Q, you're my only hope.

Honestly, I don't see how it's my fault, or how I didn't react normally to your slot.

 

I think I started it only. I then let it become it's own thing as I tried to evaluate how you and AJ responded to the pressure, and continued to interact with the thread. It looked bad AJ was going at Seph without a substantive reason. That was very early on. It took a millennium for u to respond to the source of the pressure.

 

I was gonna let AJ respond to it, but he's been kinda scarce.  I'm not interested in apportioning blame so much as trying to find the wolves I think were pushing the idea.  It's part of why I wanted to lynch Laine, so it's not like I'm tunneling you on it.  I don't like the way it went down and so everyone who was involved is suspect to me.

Wolf Verbal is capable of anything.  That being said, I don't think he's particularly wolfy so far this game.

If a wolf wants to do something obvious I'm game for trying on new shoes.  Based on what I see now a lot of people look bad but these two have been bothering me the most.

I never actually said anything at all about Thaneballs today actually.  Thane bugged me because the one time we were both online he kind of ignored me as soon as I stopped making small talk with him and asked him about his reads.  Verbal, I found his town game very informative last game (I even mentioned I was surprised Laine didn't doc protect him N2 after she came out) and here I mostly see struggles to keep up, positive comments about players who are on most people's town lists, eventually a 'strong' town list that doesn't offer much explanation even though it included someone on the chopping block.... 

 

 

Want to make sure you caught this because I answered just before you asked.

 

The pace of this game is kind of crazy and until my kid's asleep I think I'm going to always be a page or two behind.  It would have been nice to be more thorough with my Thaneballs assessment but 90+ pages is o_o.  Wish he was here for some direct input.

Side note: I won't really be that active today. I'm going to be away from my desk most of the day and there will be 2 meetings will champagne. 

 

I'm generally bothered that Leelou is focused on AH's activity.  In the game Leelou just moderated, AH got mislynched and her inactivity D1 was a large factor in why she was unable to clear herself late in the game.  AH is well aware that her particularly detached silence makes her a huge target--more than other silent players.  This makes me think that her absence is probably a genuine lack of time that persists through both her wolf and her town games.  AH knows it's not a viable wolf strat for her game; it's not really indicative of anything at this point.  I feel like players who just watched her get mislynched four days ago should be on a similar page as me with this.

 

The fact that she said she'd come back in 18 hours and didn't makes her really easy meat for wolves, like maybe [v]Leelou[/v].

 

Also, AH saying she'd share thoughts when she got back home from work and then saying she hoped she'd have thoughts to share when she got back home from work is a really petty "inconsistency" to focus on.

 

I'm struggling to keep Sili in my null pile and his posts about AH are one part of that.  I was really hoping AH would show up and I could see how Sili and Leelou handled her, but she hasn't yet and I wanted to get my thoughts out there.  I'm a little annoyed at AH for all this, but I'll base my opinion on what she actually says when she gets here.  Last game, when AH finally showed up she showed up in force.

 

 

Long exchange where Laine calls Leelou out on an apparent inconsistency in her thought process.  Leelou rebounds with a reasonable explanation, but I think it's worth keeping around.  It's not my reason for voting--just a little baggage:

Seems like you are trying to save face here. Your first post looks like you came in and didn't read, but posted anyways. Then you stuck around a bit and posted saying you are current.

Sooh has a bland opening post. Don't like her mentioning of pulling a Heart but not saying anything. Means that she at least glanced at the thread but has nothing to add.

Actually I thought Sooh's opening was a lot better than Heart's because Sooh knew Heart's had drawn negative attention from me but did a similar thing anyway.

 

Also, Heart's opening is bad because after only 3 pages she implies has thoughts to share,which means she's feeling very self-conscious. What she said is what people say after at least 30 pages in my experience.

 

In contrast Sooh said she would catch up after she got back, which is a lot more natural.

I just didn't like that Sooh drew attention to something negative that she saw was going on and posted similarly. Her saying she would catch up when she gets back is better than what Heart said, but it also has implications that she is caught up and added nothing.

Laine - I didn't say it was drawing negative attention to Heart. Heart was already getting negative attention and Sooh said - "pulling a Heart" - in her post. To me it shows that she has some knowledge of what was going on in the thread and didn't comment on anything & use something that was getting negative attention in her post. I might not be explaining it the best as to what is going through my head.

Not really a disconnect. I'm saying that Sooh posted pulling a Heart, something that Heart has been getting negative attention and it implied Sooh has some knowledge of what was going on in the thread. I may have explained myself wrong, so I'm trying to clarify for you. And yes, I'd be willing to vote for her or anyone really at this point. Heart more than Sooh though. If you notice I haven't voted yet. I'm trying to get more solid reads first.

This was my explanation for voting Leelou.  AH was null imo until her last post.  Whether you want to read that one as incredibly scummy or just incredibly poorly worded is up to you.  I can appreciate both but I'm siding with the latter for now.

Yeah, that last post made me question my opposition to the AH train.  Leelou kind of hates inactives, so although I don't think her going after AH is productive, I'm not sure it is scummy.  I have Leelou as largely null atm but it's looking like I might have to vote a null read =\

Alanna can you please explain your read on Leelou for me?  I have her null to slight wolf lean.  She jumped on Sooh and AH's first couple posts.  She since backed off of Sooh but has not left the AH train, I am also not a fan of low vote count and can kinda see her views on AH when she explained them but it almost seems kinda fixated on a whole lotta nothing imo.

This is what freaking happens when I mix up names. I meant to have Sooh there, Leelou should be in my second line because I still have a weird feeling about our interactions yesterday on the Sooh/AH thing. Sooh, overall though has looked good for me, I just needed that clarification on Eldrick which she already responded to.

 

 

 

 

 

Leelou's placement on that third one jumped out to me, since this all stemmed from her claim of an early scum read.  Fourth one is a plausible enough explanation that I don't think it's some super obvious slip or anything (though I'd have to do more homework to see if the rest of the reads check out).

 

I like Zander asking her for clarification though, because the placement of Leelou on the townlist definitely clashed with Alanna's play this game.
