I don't really want to waste more posts on it. I remember a game not too long ago where JUST this happened and the role breaker was an experienced player (in fact the whole playerbase was). So no, lying about breaking the rules is NOT funny.

I feel like Seph's rather aggressive defensiveness isn't inherently indicative, but from what I remember he's defending his skills as town, not his alignment.  That people think he might not be town doesn't seem to be much on his mind.  I don't feel like he's hiding anything.

 

AH is a totally blind shot.  I am pretty convinced her post count would be this low regardless of alignment, and I fail to derive any of the issues others have pulled out of her initial posts.  I think she's a wasted lynch unless we really have no candidates who seem more than 25% scummy.  Even if we beat the odds on her, a wolf flip tells us nothing because she really hasn't interacted with anyone yet.

 

I don't want to see either of them lynched tomorrow.  D2, that's a new game.  But it's getting close to kill time and I would really like to see a more viable candidate enter the discussion.

This is really really dumb. The fact he's voting you for it means it's 51% or better. What's the point in pushing Dice on quantifying something that is, by his own admission, based on speculation? The more you guys do this stuff the more I think he might be on to something.

 

 Above is the beginning of the conversation. Yates states clearly that the fact he is voting me means it is =>51%. Dice actually stated it as "pretty low". The reason to ask is that the suspicion needs to add up to a reasonable percentage in order for it to be a proper push. Let's say that Dice believes I did this at 10%. That would mean that I am 10% to be a wolf. Rand is about 25% so it still is <rand that my slot is mafia. For him to push at me(and Darthe) in this situation is silly. You could just as well say that someone would be mafia for posting a smiley.    

 

Where if he believes it at something like 50%, then it would be worth pushing. He didn't say coin flip or anything else to imply that he felt it was that likely. Therefore he is just blowing hot air and waving his arms around talking tough. 

 

 

Dice admitted that the percentage for me making that post as wolf was "pretty low". To me that is not =>51% as you stated.

I gave my answer to what I am guessing you were asking about in the first post. The question in the second post does not equal the question in the first post. I frankly don't know what you are on about so if you could explain it again using small words it might help.

 

My best guess is that you were trying to make me look bad because I asked him to quantify his level of belief (or his thought of likelihood).  

 

Bottom line is I asked in order to gauge whether he had sufficient believe to justify his actions of voting and making a big stink and posturing in an OTT manner that parodies his town meta. The same meta he claims to not be able to properly emulate as mafia.

The response in the first quote indicates to me that you think the likelihood of this actually being not a joke is pretty low but you are claiming that you are merely being diligent to bring it to everyone's attention. At least that is how I am reading it. I posted it so everyone else can read it again for themselves and draw their own conclusions.

 

However in the second response you flip that on its head and seem to be saying that mafia would do this because it is a good play for them because people would not believe it. You are basing this "logic" on how difficult it is to lynch Darthe and I. I would say that it should be extremely difficult to lynch anyone on a joke posted on page one unless it was a true slip. I don't think that you are saying that it was. More that it was a "rub everyone's nose in it later" thing.

 

You have only seen 3 early joke mafia claims in all the games you have played. I find that doubtful. Lemme ask you this, on the other one that you were wrong about, what happened?

Its really simple. You and Darthe are one slot. You claimed Darthe is a wolf. Therefore you claimed Mafia. Therefore I vote you and want you lynched.

1.) I am sorry
2.) Activity is not indicative of alignment, only of real life. I had this problem the beginning of last game too
3.) Last night I came home with my head already swimming and when I started reading mafia I could not get anything to make sense whatsoever
4.) I am once again at that point. Unfortunately, a portion of this evening went to trying to figure out what to do with a stray cat my neighbor found. I only work a half day tomorrow afternoon, and I fully intend to catch up the rest of the way in the morning (though I may also be taking the cat somewhere to get it checked for a chip and etc)
5.) I will be much more active this weekend, and then next week I am on "vacation" to volunteer at a Bible camp so I'll be much more relaxed and inactive then too.
6.) When I checked in, I knew I wasn't going to be able to connect dots (was in a similar mental state to the one I'm in now) but I was excited for the game and knew we were still in the silly phase of it anyway. I probably should have just left it as “here, vote Leelou” and not posted anymore, but kind of just automatically said “give more thoughts in ___ hours” because I do have to say that a lot, and then just stuck around for the rest of the time I was kept awake because reading sillies is funny. I know those posts are all you have of me right now, but they are a waste of your focus and I will give you more soon.

Sili I feel I'll never know what to do with, but something feels... different? Will have to pinpoint later.

I remember her addressing other situations but not actually giving thoughts (one that sticks out in memory is that she said that seph confused her or something to that nature). Striking me as weird.
Sooh not much by her yet. Thought it was gutsy to follow up on something that garnered so much attention early on, which scum usually avoid, and I also know she's the pop in and not always give full thoughts type. Townish for now?

Dice--Playing how I remember dice playing. Was always someone who seemed slightly scummy to me and need to look at closer not to just automatically have that bias
Shad--liking in this game, still getting feet wet. Hard to tell what is growing confidence and what is possibly just a difference.
Seph--I could be totally wrong here, but I feel like his posts have mostly pertained to defending himself and not continuing to help town elsewhere in addition (hunting pointing out other inconsistencies not related to himself, etc)? Will have to look again ISO
WomboCombo--both playing differently than I remember them, but I'm outdated. Both acting very confident town and something feels solid about it but we do also have two good players here.
Csarmi--according to what I have written, he was questioning Sooh on her pop in explaining herself and asked why she didn't add anything constructive, and then I don't really recall a transition but later on on a reads list Sooh is very high. Been a part of a couple of back and firths with people like Yates and Zander I'd just like to look at more closely. Not acting like he considers himself cleared

I think that is a big problem I have darthe, I say what comes to my mind, and generally don't have a objective besides trying to find the wolves; I thought that was the only one I needed.... usually if I think someone is a wolf I try to pressure them, and build a case. that could be why no one listens to them. I just don't really understand how to hunt per say, I have some advice tress gave me, and information from the web I use but I am generally lost day until I can have a chance to iso and try to put people together, and look for inconsistencies.

I honestly don't know what other objective I should have, I tried to have a objective last game to use my role in a beneficial way and I pretty much wasted it, and well you know how the rest turned out.
